The film, starring Kevin Hart and Ice Cube, follows the story of security guard Ben Barber (Hart) who seeks the permission to marry a hot-tempered cop Detective James (Cube) sister, Angela (Tika Sumpter). But before Ben is deemed worthy of his sister, James takes Ben on a ride to patrol the streets of Atlanta. In order to prove himself, Ben must survive the most insane 24 hours of his life.
