Back 2 School Kick

Pushing The Music and The Young Entrepreneurs of Atlanta Foundation, Inc. are curating the
“Back 2 School Kick” to be held on July 27, 2013 from 3pm-7pm at Piedmont Park (softball field 1) in Atlanta, GA.

The ”Back 2 School Kick,” is a back to school kickball tournament for the youth in the Greater Atlanta area. There will be several games of kickball with celebrities and professional athletes as coaches, motivational speakers, and various forms of age appropriate entertainment. The three main points of the event are health, academics, and leadership. The overall goal is to send each participating student home with a backpack filled with the essential school supplies to “kick” off the school year.

“The government says ‘no child left behind’, but they’re leaving students behind when they don’t provide school supplies,” says Alesia Ervin of Pushing The Music. “It’s all about the students. It’s all about giving the opportunity seekers of today the tools they need to be successful tomorrow,” says Kadeem Dunwell of The Young Entrepreneurs of Atlanta Foundation, Inc. Both the hearts of Alesia and Kadeem are focused on helping the Greater Atlanta youth build prosperous futures and garner continuous cycles of giving.

Pushing The Music combines technology, business, and music to push independent artists to the top of the charts. The Young Entrepreneurs of Atlanta Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to turning the opportunity seekers of today into successful entrepreneurs of tomorrow. By partnering with different high schools and colleges, The Young Entrepreneurs of Atlanta Foundation, Inc. have conducted numerous business competitions, workshops, and panel discussions between successful young entrepreneurs and students around the city of Atlanta.
