Marc Jacobs will be Coca-Cola‘s creative director for its Diet Coke line in 2013. The designer will be following in the footsteps of Jean Paul Gaultier who was creative director for the soft drink in 2012.
The creations, which are scheduled to be unveiled later this month in 11 European markets including the U.K., France, Benelux and Iceland, reference iconic looks from the ’80s, ’90s and ’00s, along with signature Jacobs motifs. “We wanted it to be colorful and fun,” the designer said.
