IM NOT SURE HOW I FEEL ABOUT THIS
Following Disney’s recent acquisition of Lucasfilm from George Lucas, it has been announced that J.J. Abrams will direct the next “Star Wars” film, “Star Wars: Episode VII.”
Known for his work on television franchises like “Lost,” “Fringe” and “Alias” and films such as “Mission: Impossible III,” “Star Trek” and “Super 8,” Abrams is the man behind Bad Robot and one of the most successful producers and directors in Hollywood.

I feel good about J.J. Abrams directing a Star Wars VII so long as George Lucas lets him do his job. In my opinion, Lucas has been in a creative rut. I think Abrams can breathe life into the Star Wars franchise as he did with the Star Trek reboot.
