Martin Luther King, Jr

HAPPY 83rd BIRTHDAY

“Like anybody, I would like to live a long life. Longevity has its place. But I’m not concerned about that now. I just want to do God’s will. And He’s allowed me to go up to the mountain. And I’ve looked over. And I’ve seen the promised land. I may not get there with you. But I want you to know tonight, that we, as a people will get to the promised land.”

  1. This picture is so inspirational.

  2. Sadly and most regrettably the revolution has been given a new face in the new world order, our march to freedom has been transformed into another form of slavery, the slavery of commerce. God is now an anagram for Gold, OIl and Drugs, and the promise land one of equality in consumerism. Our social and economic order of slavery in this day where all of God’s children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics are slaves who wear the new symbol replacing the holy cross, the credit card. We are now able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual, “Free at last! free at last! thank God Almighty, we are free at last!”

Now go out and buy something you are free to do so… as long as you have you identification and don’t do anything to make someone nervous and question your racial profile, G.O.D. be with you. – Payment Due.
