In this case, the Paris Mint, in partnership with the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts Inc., are honoring the artist with this collection consisting of gold and silver pieces bearing Warhol’s ‘Self Portrait’ on one side, and his ‘Dollar Sign’ from his 1981 painting. The collection is available through the Monnaie de Paris site.
