  1. Lmao at Steve talking bout the inauguration & a round table meeting but it’s not cool to me! President Obama is trying to come in & fix what Bush effed up before he got in office! It takes time, he’s done other great things! And just like Steve said he’s trying to help everyone, not just African Americans! Smh.

If you look at the reasons behind why Tavis is angry I tend to agree with Steve Harvey on this one.Question: What if President Obama just helped African Americans and not the other millions of people that are unemployed, etc,? That would be considered racist and he would lose the same base that voted him in. WE need to do everything possible to achieve our goals without the help of any president. I agree that we need opposing views that are different than our own but these guys are blaming this President of something many others are guilty of as well. To me these two need to join up with the “Tea Party” and stop playing these games!

Influential members of the black community need to learn how to disagree in private without putting one another out on front street or deliberately trying to discredit or embarrass someone. Even if there is a valid point to be made it just comes acrossed as being disrespectful. The name calling is uncalled for. We have got to stop tearing and learn to come together to get thing accomplished. I am not saying I disagree with Steave he does have some valid points. I just think the public rock throwing (yes Tavis and Cornell included ) needs to stop.

  7. Ok I’m going to weigh in on this one! WE ALL NEED A SPIRIT OF DISCERNMENT! LET US PRAY….LAWD…MY PEOPLE shall perish from lack of knowledge AND wisdom because we’ve lost sight of the common good for ALL! TOO MANY FALSE PROPHETS with degrees and seemingly higher education are amongst us with HIDDEN AGENDAS. LORD GIVE US A SPIRIT OF DISCERNMENT to know what’s right! Speak to us LOUD & CLEAR over the NOISE so that we may HEAR & SEE THE TRUTH, not what APPEARS to be truth. AND LAWD, GIVE US THE WISDOM to know when to shut the hell up! Just because WE MAY BE RIGHT, doesn’t mean we have to steep to INSULTING ONE ANOTHER. Let us NOT fall prey to being DIVIDED AND CONQUERED! The enemy is watching, listening, plotting and will attempt to defeat us BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY. So LAWD, Let us not become our OWN WORST ENEMY. AMEN!

I’ve come to realize it wasn’t the physical abuse of slavery and Jim Crow that messed us up, it was the MENTAL torment that keeps us GENERATIONS after those eras have ended equating being black with being broke. The POVERTY TOUR…WTF? REALLY? What I’ve learned is the more you focus on WHAT YOU DON’T HAVE the more you don’t have! Feel me? The name of this campaign ALONE is one big MIND GAME. I’m a shut up now, before I really say some ish! Again, SPIRIT OR DISCERNMENT. Turn off the radio telling you to keep being “HOOD”. It’s BULLSHIT! Turn away from the reality shows feeding you the producer’s “reality.” I work in this game of show, and TRUST throughout HISTORY, ours especially, the people who are the easiest to DECEIVE are the impoverished, poor, and ignorant. *GONE* OH and WEB DESIGNER PUT THAT DAMN CAPTCHA CODE ABOVE THE SUBMIT BUTTON! IT JUST MAKES SENSE!
