The Libratone Lounge ($1,300) is designed to be a replacement for both the stereo hi-fi and more advanced home theater systems, thanks to five separate amplifiers cranking out 150W of power to an eight-inch woofer, a pair of ceramic midranges, and a pair of ribbon-based tweeters, which work in concert with the DSP and FullRoom acoustic technology to offer 360 degree sound when its needed and sparklingly clean stereo when it’s not. Oh, and did we mention it supports wireless AirPlay streaming?

I heard these at the expo in Vegas and the quality was close the Dynaudio BM 6A Mk II with great mids and better lows with that 8in woofer… 2 of them are need because the stereo sound they promise you is not a true stereo sound, panning wise… But great overall studio quality sound for any environment…
