I think it it a sad time in our countries political system when our president can or is making 20 minute speech that is very similar to a speech that you would hear at while watching the MTV awards. I am all for humor but sometimes there is just not room for it and to me our White House is one of those places and our president is one of those people who don’t need or should not need humor to help him in the poles as his job is not a laughing matter. I am sure you all will slam me for this post and call me uptight blah blah blah but I really don’t care; I thought his speech was hilarious and I defiantly laughed, but thats not my problem. I ask would Reagan, Bush Sr., Clinton, Bush Jr. (all presidents of our era) have even addressed a rumor started by Donal Trump, the answer is NO. Is our health care a joke to you? Because apparently its funny to our president, I know I wasn’t laughing when my bill went up again 2 months ago. To even joke about his lose of use of a teleprompter is not funny, democrate or republican did Lincoln or Washington or even JFK use one, NO and they made speeches they they wrote themselves and that time will never forget!

    In the time we live in everything is media focused around celebrities and junk media, I beg of you to please do not get caught up in this; please learn to tune out the stuff that is not relevant and I ask this of all people no matter what political party you support.

  10. @Chip Jordan I respect what you’re saying, but one thing in there I do agree with… you’re definitely being uptight. Yes the president is in a serious position, but does he have to hide the fact that he has a sense of humor too? To compare him to past presidents is ridiculous… no, he isn’t like them… that’s what makes him Barack Obama.

    Moving on… Barack is hilarious. Gotta love him.
