  1. i liked the way she delivered and performed it but it sounded way too much like monica for me. i think when a person is going to perform another artist’s song they need to do it justice but make it their own. i only wanna hear monica from monica.

  3. I agree with Alesia…she needs to put more of her own personality in the song. Thas sound like Monica performing live to me. Great voice though! This is one of my favorite songs…Big shout out to Chrystal (sp?) for writing this…dope lyrics for real

  9. Me & Dondria saw this yesterday and JD im sure you know the face expression exchange lol. Same as the girl who did rihanna girl in the world. I mean they were skr8 but this is american IDOL not the Karoake spot, and you got to bring it on a crystle written track. them shits aint easy

  10. She sound nice, but a lil shaky on some of her pitches but other then that she did good. She does have the confidence in her stage presence.

  13. Man! C’mon Son! I mean making it your own is one thing, but when you have to go hard with a Monica and JD song, you better bring it! Often imitated never duplicated. @JD thats a song for the ages and Monica really deliver the heart and essence of the song. Music is what I breathe and Im a True LIfer……. Yo! Yo!

  19. That’s not it…… *in my Tyrone voice* Everything about that wrong as hell. I wouldn’t enjoy going to see her perform at all. Everything about her stage presence was just awkward. She has confidence tho. I’ll give her that but she’s not a good performer or vocalist at all.

  23. well she owned the stage …. wonderful stage presence and she did have that Diva’ish sassiness about her 🙂 … maybe not the song for her but willing to bet she’ll rock a different song. 🙂 Overall she did good … it takes alot of courage to get up there and perform!!
