  4. I’m not feeling this new discovery in iPad technology. It just seems like this is making becoming a DJ easy to people who have an extra $1400 bucks laying around and to those who don’t care to take the time out to learn the history & the RIGHT way of becoming a DJ. I looked it up on YouTube & found this video (see link below) & I just see too many things going wrong with being an “iPad DJ”. Give me vinyl or give me death…

    First of all, As a House DJ and Producer let me just say in almost everyone of her transitions she did what most of us djs and producers hate which is clash the music! this style of music is made for mixing. its produced to have mixin points so that it blends in perfectly with the next track. this is the problem with djin these days. people think they can take any ol track and edit it to best fit their style of mixin and then call themselves a dj. this shit was so wack i couldnt even finish watching. never clash vocals like that unless you do it in a way that sounds good..

    KEEP DJIN THE WAY ITS ALWAYS BEEN! 2 TURNTABLES AND A MIXER!!

  7. Here’s what you all are missing. She is not using any software or app designed for this purpose. Now that she is promoting it somebody will make an app that will make iPad Jjing much more effective and seamless. Just like folks hated on the CD based “turn tables” it will take a little time for the technology and the apps to come together to make a product that is reasonably acceptable to use. I mean just imagine if the screen of the iPad looked like a turntable and you could mix just like you do with a Record or a CD based system. If not on the iPad someone will have a completely touch screen based DJ set up on the market in the near future…That’s they way things are going I just saw that the new Tesla Cars have all touch screen controls in them for the radio, air conditioner, GPS, everything, its coming instead of discounting it ya’ll need to be working to be the leaders in the field. If I was a DJ I would be knocking on some doors to get ahead of the curve on this.

  8. What you need to do JD is go hire 2-3 iPad app programmers and tell them to create the ultimate iPad DJ app, and sell it for $50-100 a pop on the itunes store, and then shoot me 30% of the profits for giving you the idea.
