  1. @ JD….
DON’T BE MAD TWAN, U STILL A GOOD DJ!!!!!!!

  2. @JD unReal….this is some bullshit!

  3. it’ll die down. People always appreciate Authentic talent…anyone who will use that…don’t know what they’re doing, only relying on the computer to do all the work. We’ll know and hear the difference 😉

  4. This is crazy… technology is growing and taking away the jobs of many people

  5. Wow!! I always wanted to learn how to DJ, but I will learn the old fashion way.

  6. Technology is taking over!!!

  7. Once upon a time music was composed with vocal arrangements & acoustic instruments. Now the machines & or computers are doing it all.. I guess it’s only a matter of time before this world will be a complete Matrix.

  8. this is ill i love technology but this is gonna take away from the art of DJing any nigga wit a ipad or any1 who has played dj hero will be able to DJ takin gigs away from the REAL DJs who use technics 1200s

  9. Thing is you are able to adapt to the times. I saw you switch it up with the cdj’s when they didn’t have turn tables. So everyone that is complaining about this taking away from someone that knows how to use turn tables…quit your crying and adapt to technology. What will you do when songs are no longer released on vinyl for scratching? If you think about it you will no longer need to carry crates of records and with the size of the ipad memory you can run with your whole collect. Hell you can even pull something and download it to the ipad on the way to the gig. Don’t be scared of progress embrace it.

  10. anbody can be a freaking DJ……..thats technology evolving..cant get mad at that..we do it to ourselves we ask for these things and as knowlegde increases so those everything. Mans eye open wider and wider…just lil philosophy mixed with religion…

  11. LMAO at Mikes comment. Cmon son…. Have you watched an episode of LTL?! lol We dont carry around crates anymore (most of us) Cause you can get the same controll with Serato… You know… the program JD (and most djs) use now.

The problem most djs would have with this is the fact that the skill of scratching… is now being computer generated (to a degree… definitly not very clean… but if it can do it a little now… wait til… next year…) But it was only a matter of time since they killed mix DJs with the lame ass “sync” button!! Oh well… I guess it is a matter of stepping our game up… but this is definitly a win for wack djs and a loss for anyone who apprciates the art or talent it takes to actually be a DJ

  12. That is beyond DOPE! And mind you, I happen to dislike Apple products (Apple doesn’t stand behind their products) with all my heart, but if someone were to get me one for Christmas, I would get this DJ app. All you Applefanbois and Applefangirls, I salute you on this DJ app right here. I don’t think this takes anything away from actual DJs because to be a great DJ, you still have to have some sort of creativity to know what songs blend well together and how to mix and scratch properly. Also you have to be a great lover of music and really know your music, from old school to new school. Blues and Jazz and even Country. Don’t knock Country, there are some music roots in there. Chuck Berry was a country singer before he made it to rock n’ roll 😉

  13. I AGREE WITCHU JD TOO EASY FOR THESE KIDS MAN IS SAD I DONT EVEN THINK HALF OF DEEZ GADGET DJS EVER TOUCH A VINYL MAN OR SCRATCH SMH I STILL HAVE THE BOW WOW VINYL I BOUGHT WEN I WAS 11 THE SNGLE AND I PLAYED IT ON MY DADS OLD RECORD PLAYER CMON MAN THIS IS GETTING OUT OF HAND DO THEY EVEN KNOW HOW TO BEAT MATCH CMON YALL MAKING ALL OF US LOOKING BAD MAN SMH FUCK OUTTA HERE NIGGAS MAKING US LOOK BAD ACTUALLY PRACTICING TILL LATE HOURS … SMH GO FUCK UP SOMEONE ELSE CARREER SMH LOL

  14. This hurts my heart. Although, the DJ technology is exciting I just see the life of the DJ as we know it turning into a robot. I remember back in 1999 when I first started DJin I would have to lug around about 200 pounds of records to my radio show from my dorm room to the station. It was a pain in the ass even thought it was 150 feet away. But now I look back and hear djs and see the technology and it is the answer to why most DJs don’t have an identity and ever dj in each club sounds the same from East to West and back. Records I miss you and R.I.P. the DJ you will be miss! (words of TreyPeezyDotCom of http://itsALLBC.com)

  15. This is a cute toy. I would love to get this just so I can play it on the plane or one road…in hotel chilling. I would feel funny rocking an event with this tho.

  16. @JD I say all the real deejays go back to strictly using a cross fader and them 1200s again. I’m sure record pools still exist and you won’t find any problems getting someone to roll your crates around on a dolley. Bare essentials will prove real deejays!
