THIS MOVIE HAS GOT MY MIND RACIN LIKE CRAZY!!!!!,ALOT CAME TO LIGHT BY WATCHING THIS, THE FIRST IS THE FACT THAT BLACK KIDS ARE NO WHERE NEAR BEING SET UP TO RUN THE WOLRD (IE) WHEN YOU GO TO CLARK YOU DONT GET A CLARK EMAIL ADDY, BUT WHEN KIDS GO HARVARD THEY GET A HARVARD EMAIL ADDRESS,I READ ONE OF THE COMMENTS TODAY ABOUT MY “QUOTE OF THE DAY” FROM BJ BENSON AND HE SAID HE DID’NT UNDERSTAND IT, COULD I PLEASE EXPLAIN. SUCCESS IS SHY BASICALLY MEANS THAT THOSE OF US THAT SIT THERE LOOKING FOR IT EVERYDAY IT WANT COME. THOSE THAT JUST DO WHAT THEY LOVE AND BELIVE IN EVERYDAY ARE THE ONES THAT ARE REWARDED.IF YOU WATCH THIS MOVIE YOU WILL UNDERSTAND THAT EVEN MORE, I LOVED IT

The Social Network is based on the book, The Accidental Billionaires: The Founding of Facebook, a Tale of Sex, Money, Genius and Betrayal, which tells the story behind the controversial birth of the website. Eisenberg and Garfield play Facebook co-founders Mark Zuckerberg and Eduardo Saverin, while Timberlake stars as Sean Parker, the co-founder of Napster and the founding president of the site.
The tagline for the poster reads: “You don’t get to 500 million friends without making a few enemies.” Touche! The screenplay was written by award winning screenwriter Aaron Sorkin and is scheduled to hit theaters on October 1, 2010.
The url on the side of the poster 500millionfriends.com, takes you to the official website for the film, which features the above photo and a request to register for updates. We’re sure more content will be added as we get closer to the film’s release.

  2. Yea i gotta see this this weekend… When i first started seeing the previews i was like i gotta c this… There are so many things around us that we do everyday that can somehow be turned into some sort of success story just like this

  4. Im glad you put that info out so people can stop sleepin…This is where you and i have a lil conflict, correct me if i’m wrong. I see some good info that you put out but it seems as if the info is chillin in space. I believe if you put some people 2gether you can try and change that. I know music is your thing but when people (cuz i heard something like this several times, from several people) say things like “BLACK KIDS ARE NO WHERE NEAR BEING SET UP TO RUN THE WOLRD” and just shake your head and move on to the next, i believe that is part of the problem.

A LOT OF NIGGA’S DO JUST WAIT AROUND AND WONDER WHY THEY GO THROUGH THE SAME MEDIOCRE SHIT WITH NO BETTER RESULTS THEN WHAT HAPPENED TO THEM A WEEK AGO, A MONTH AGO, OR A YEAR AGO. I DEFINITLY WANNA SEE THAT MOVIE TOO. I GOT A QUESTION FOR YOU JERMAINE, DO YOU BELIEVE THAT PASSION ALWAYS WINS ABOVE TALENT KNOWLEDGE AND TRUE NATURAL SKILL IN LIFE MORE SPECIFICLLY MUSIC?

  9. dude this movie had my mind going crazy as well. Though most colleges do set you up with an email account that really wasn’t what had me thinking. I am always amazed how entrepreneurs react and think.. and J your so right about black kids not being set up to run companies.. i mean i think Mark’s dad was a Doctor in real life (i could be wrong) plus he is a jew.. they teach their kids about money… this movie Motivated me to keep after my set goal.. dope!

    I got a chance to see the movie last night and I have to tell you, it made me see life and business totally different. It also made me realize that it’s so much better to be great at ONE thing, rather than being good at a bunch of things. Hands down the movie of the year.

    p.s. That’s crazy that Clark students don’t get a Clark email address. I graduated from the University at Buffalo up here in New York and even we got our own email addresses, and we are the complete opposite of a Harvard..lol.

  12. Hell no there not set up to run this world because these kids don’t care about school. They care about there hair, shoes , clothes , and boys/girls. This is where parents go wrong as well as the scholl they give them all this shit and the children feel like they don’t have to work, we set our children up to fail! These kids depend on calculators, because that’s all they know. We think technology is smart and it may be, but it makes us dumb as hell. When I was younger I had to memorize every damn number I had I had to know numbers by heart! NOW I got three damn cell phones and I only know 12 numbers. It’s not funny! It’s stupid we look like fools, it’s called being spoiled we have all this to do our work for us. I was just using word and I remember using type writters where you had to make sure things were centered and right or else you would start over. And to be clear it’s not every black child I see real talent in some, who are smart as hell doing things I’ve never done. And also it’s not just black kids it’s whites too as well as other races. Then we have lazy ass people in America saying these Hispanics coming over here stealing our jobs. No bitch put the twinks and donuts down get off the couch and work harder America is just spoiled these chinease kids come to America after going to school all year around and be amazed to see a damn book! And want to read everything they want our lifestyle. While our kids don’t even want to pick up a book. Maybe we all need a reality check cause this is out of control

  14. JD I understand part of what you are saying. I am in the process of developing the next big thing, but it is hard for people to take you serious because you are black. The site is called MyConnec , http://www.myconnec.com which we are looking for funding. We have been told that we can give Facebook a run for their money. and best of all I DIDN’T STEAL IT! so in short there is hope for us black folks it just takes a little longer to get funded. Still looking.

I always seem to fall asleep on the beginning, where he starts talkin about how he made the page….i guess his voice, and the speed in which is talkin puts me rite to sleep…i guess ill have to watch it when i am wide awake. and i love the quote of the day, because it is so true…you have to go for what you want in life, nothing is goin to be handed to you.
