She has come a long way. I rememeber you posting vids of one of her first performances in NY awhile back, she was stiff, nervous, and lacked stage presence. She did a great job in Indy last month. Vocals were great and she interacted with the audience.

I was one of those people that critiqued her!
I know when I did it, many people might have thought it was hating…but I am glad that it has led to positive feedback from both Trey and her fans!
I always wanted the best for Dondria, and I felt as a fan, it was very necessary to let her know which areas she needed to step her game, at!
At the end of the day, I want her to have longevity, and in order to do that, she needs to hold her own against some of these female entertainers out there!
I am glad that she is on the rise!

You know JD, I really respect the fact that in this day in age, you are taking the time to “Develop” Dondria as an artist. Artist Development is pretty much non-existent in the music industry, if you ask me. Labels want the total package right off the back & tend to miss out on potential Diamonds in the rough. Many of our superstars today had to go through “Artist Development”. They all didn’t come off top singing and dancing incredibly well. JD, I’m sure you have plenty of stories about the stars you’ve worked with and their imperfections that were eventually polished & transformed into remarkable records and performances. Dondria is a talented singer/vocalist who’s still growing. My first time seeing Dondria was years ago on youtube when she sang Alicia Keys “Diary”. I knew she had great potential & would eventually be where she is today.
The “Fan” of today is completely different from that of the past. I think Fans of today really have to learn to understand the artist, understand the business that the artist is in, and realize there is a process. As you said “LIFE IS A MARATHON AND YOU NEVER STOP RUNNING”. As a fan, I look forward to running this race with Dondria. Days,Weeks,Months,Years from now Dondria will be stronger and better than before. Great Post JD, God bless.
