I CAN’T BELIEVE ITS JUST ONE DAY LEFT BEFORE DONDRIA’S ALBUM IS OUT, IF YOU’VE BEEN PAYING ATTENTION TO THIS YOU KNOW IT WAS A 2 YEAR PROCESS SINCE I WAS AT DEF JAM AND THEY DROPPED THE BALL, I THEN CHOSE TO TAKE SO SO DEF INDEPENDENT AND MAKE HER THE FIRST ARTSIT OF THIS QUEST, NO ONE BELIEVED IN THIS ROUTE PEOPLE TO THIS DAY STILL ARE QUESTIONING WHAT IM DOING BUT NONE OF THAT CAN KILL MY EXCITEMENT, IT’S NOT ABOUT SALES OR THE CHARTS, I’M EXCITED THAT I DID WHAT I SAID I WAS GONNA DO, BELIEVE ME IT WAS’NT EASY AND AT TIMES, I WANTED TO QUIT BECAUSE WE LIVE IN A WORLD THAT’S CONTROLLED BY MORE FOLLOWERS THEN LEADERS SO WHEN ONE TAKES A STEP IN HIS OR HER ON DIRECTION ITS NOT VERY WELL SUPPORTED. THEY TELL ME THAT THE FIRST TIME U DO COCAINE IT’S NOTHING LIKE THAT HIGH BUT YOU NEVER GET IT BACK ,THAT’S SIMILAR TO THE EXCITEMENT I GOT WHEN I PUT OUT KRISKROSS, FOR YEARS I WAS SEARCHING FOR THAT AND NEVER FOUND IT, BUT NOW ITS BACK!! ANY THING CAN BE DONE LONG AS YOU PUT YOUR HEART AND SOUL INTO IT. YOU GOTTA SAY FUCK FOLLOWING AND THOSE THAT TRY TO GETCHU OUT YOUR MINDSET, THE WORK THAT WAS PUT IN TO GET TO THIS POINT YOU GUYS DONT EVEN UNDERSTAND BUT NONE OF THAT CAN KILL MY EXCITEMENT. AUG 17TH THE BEGINNING OF NEW ERA IN MUSIC!!

P.S I THINK IM BERRY GORDY I THINK IM RUSSEL SIMMONS  LOL!!!!

  3. And yet God surrounded u with those who are able to SEE the vision and encourage u not to quit. Remember being the 1st always take sacrifice and strength and courage! Proverbs 29:18 says Where there is no VISION the people perish…but he who keeps the law (VISION) blessed is he. You have kept the vision did not quit and here we are. There is something to be said for a person who can come to grips with his purpose in life and strains toward the goal to see it happen! 8/17 as the your enemies are made your footstool u will only continue to grow in influence. LIFERS this is a MOVEMENT!

  9. Congratulations on the accomplishment JD. It feels good to see someone doing things their own way man. I’ve been a fan of yours a lot longer than Youtube and all of us Lifers were even in existence so I guess you can say that I have an invested interest in your success. I’m a southern dude so I appreciate the fact that you were among the first to really put the South on the map. Alway made me feel good to see people that walk talk and act like us on tv and making it happen.

    So with that being said I say this Keep Going General!!!!!

  25. Independent you may not get the press you want but I think it will have success. Sales isnt only way to measure success. Im definitely going out and getting the CD. I however thing you took the wrong direction marketing her. Her vibe is somewhat an older Ciara type (gum popin and carefree). I do definitely respect that you didnt market her as young innocent type only to switch up later. But it does somewhat portray her as less than hardworking. Im a fan of music and a writer so I definitely see her talent and hopefully that will shine through. Dont underestimate what those radio interviews impact. BTW I look forward to writing on your next album.

I have followed Dondria for a long time and when you picked her up I was very excited for her because you definitely have a great ear and I knew when I first heard her on You Tube, that she would be a Star and you were the one to make her into one.
