I SAW THIS INTERVIEW ON AOL.COM AND IT LEFT ME WONDERING, WHY I HAVEN’T SEEN THIS ON OTHER SITES OR AN INTERVIEW PERIOD?  I GUESS STATS JUST DON’T MATTER NO MORE DAMN!!!!!!!!!!

  3. I want a Boyz II Men album…not another covers album!!! I love their sound and the way they harmonize but I’d rather spend the money on original material and not on music I already have in my collection.

  5. When I saw them on Tavis Smiley talking about this album, the first thing I thought about was Ahmir , Ahmirtv on Youtube man. They do covers of pop songs in a RnB group format. They did Miley Cyrus The Climb and Jonas Bro’s When I Look Into My Eyes. They even open for Boys II Men a few years ago. People say they sound like the next Boys II Men all the time. LOL!!

    I know what you mean JD. BIIM sold like what 40 million records worldwide or something like that man. You would think the internet blogs would cover their album relase. You know it’s all about the new new now though man. People do covers of their songs on Youtube even now and the good ones still be getting like 100,000 views on a cover.

  6. I love Boyz II Men. They are EXTREMELY talented and they are not getting the recognition that they deserve, which is completely unfair. Wanya killed their rendition of Journey’s song “Open Arms.” Vocally I dont’t think their is an R&B male singer that can even touch Wanya. Shawn’s falsetto is on point, as always. Nate’s voice is so relaxing and smooth. It sucks that they are not in the limelight anymore., except overseas (them boys are LOVED overseas). They broke Elvis’s record with End of the Road by staying at #1 for 13 weeks and then was replaced by another song of theirs I’ll Make Love To You at #1. It’s just amazing to me that people do not want to hear good quality music anymore, whether it be BIIM’s own album or a covers album. Their is not one cover song that they do not do beautifully.

    The last BIIM’s album that came out was the Remedy. It was a little different, not as hard vocal driven, but it is still a GREAT album. Perfect Love Song on the album is so beautiful.

    Their album LOVE was released overseas on November 17th and here in the States on November 23rd.

    They will put out their own, original album next year for their 20th anniversary.

    I do wish that they would get more recognition than what they are getting now. They still hard on their grind – constantly touring (almost 9 months out of a year), writing with other artists. So they ain’t broke but they are definitely not getting the recognition that they deserve.

  7. Well, I tried. and I tried to pay attention to the interview. but whatever that is on Wyness (the dude in the middle)’s head was distracting me. I know. He is an artist. but the at doesnt make it right, acceptable, and or pleasing to the naked eye.

    The industry is far removed from where is was when Boys II Men were poppin. One had to have talent. And by talent I mean the kind that can be reproduce in person with ascending quality. Today, we are heading back toward that direction of a singer’s singer, but today just is not that day. Unless, one can combine the commerical aspects the are needed to be visable today.

    I think those guys are the Tempetations of our day. Their music spanned crossed all, while remaining, true to themselves and where they came from. Tehy deserve better than the background treatment that they are getting. What sickens me most is that black radio is even paying attention to their upcoming album. As sad as it is…it is the state of our union…the black union that is. Our radio stations used to be about our music. Now, they are more and more about the all mighty dollar.

    For some reason that…”PSA” that comes on 107.9 with the owner talking about black radio going out of business just popped into my consciecness.
