  1. WOW!!! I have no words… Never thought I’d see this day either Jermaine. smdh Wow…

  2. Iverson has always had to fight through a lot of. Advercity in the league from his cloths, tats or hair..AI is by no means a bench player, I don’t care what team his on, he’s a starter. If they expect him to play @ a high level they shoild let him play like he always has which is a starter…I Welcome the Idea of him comin to Cleveland

  3. If I were AI I wouldn’t wanna be coming off the bench for the memphis grizzlies. The grizzlies….man we talking bout the grizzlies, not the lakers…we talking bout the grizzlies???(said like his practice rant) But the sad thing is that he has pac-manned himself no one wants to deal with the drama that comes along with AI.

  4. He def a starter in the league and should be treated as such, but if teams like memphis feel as though he needs to prove himself then he should just go out and ball off the bench for a while and take that starter job because threatening the organization with retirement isnt going to win him that spot.

  5. Bring AI back to Denver!
    AI and Carmelo great teaming.

  6. mann im surprised too. im mad as hell. they letn one bad season in detriot, mind u they didnt need his 30+ or him if u ask me. dude just got finish dropn 30+ wit melo so how the hell is he done. he still got it and its not time for him to go. im pissd off about this. memphis sleepn on my nigga hard and they aint got shit to stunt wit, they aint winning shit so why would they want him off the bench. 18mins??? r u serious??? he still got it and it aint time. im hoping he dnt retire.

  7. dawg AI had 2 small but huge downfalls in his awesome career. 1st he was the trendsetter in the NBA as far as that look goes. At the time remember Stern didn’t like that so he took alot of heat for that. Now look at the league . Everybody’s tatted out K-mart’s shorts are always low and he never tucks in his jersey, things AI always got negative attention for doing. AI is one of the greatest scores ever under 6’4″ (even Shaq said that) Last AI should have left Philly long time ago especially after Coach Brown left. Underground cats know what AI did for this league honestly no AI no AND 1, no “hot sauce”, no “Escalade”, OHHH BABIE. He’ll be back ummmmmm doubt it dude has too much pride to play number 2 option. “I’m so dope boi fresh”

  8. AI is still a good player ,he just needs the unit to get the ring. Iverson in Cleveland would be crazy, would love to see that.

  9. This is hard to admitt but the league is point guard and two guard heavy. And most of the teams that could use his scoring ability have young stars in his position. Now I dont feel Cleveland would be a good look for him souly beace they have Mo Williams, Boobie Gibson, Anthony Parker… Sure you can throw Mo to the bench but how will that effect the chemistry of the team. I just dont see A.I. being content with coming off the bench reguardless to whether the team is a championship contender. He needs and deserves to start, I know he is getting older, but the fact is, He is still “The Answer”.

Well, I can talk ball all day, I appreciate you hearing me out.
    Peace

  10. JD 1st and foremost Iverson’s time has past, but he has always been the ultimate Rucker player to the millionth power that’s why we loved him, but that’s his detriment also. His style of play and ego won’t let him be second string on a second string team. Just look at all the teams he played for after leaving Philly there is no where he can fit, cause he’s 2 guard in a point guards body. He’s doesn’t fit into a team well look at the Olympics he was the captain. He has trouble with coaches from Larry Brown on down, but what we love him for is heart. He has a heart of lion and the skills to back it up but not the mentality of Kobe, Jordan or even an Isaiah.

  11. OK Allen Iverson is a good player I was never to fond of him, but i will give him his props. any who this has nothing to do with the subject but i just saw a advertisement stating that you are going to be at club Ritz II on thanksgiving night now im kinda pissed. thanksgiving is family day for me but the day after is my b-day and i want to party hard so im hoping you’ll be making an appearance somewhere on Nov 27. hopefully a place that’s 18 and older im over 18 but im still kinda young.

  12. Iverson is not the big dog anymore. He is still a solid player and I lovehim to death but he is too old to build a team around. Him in Cleveland will be a problem because he will want the last big shot and that is all Lebron’s. He needs to learn to be someone’s Robin and they can make a run. I don’t understand him not starting for Memphis but even if he does he has to play the 1 spot because Mayo can’t play it. Iverson is not a true 1 never was never will be. He can start on a team that is lacking a shooting guard but it can’t be all about him anymore. We see where that has gotton him. J.D. I think one of your posted quotes was “foolishness is doing what you have always done and expecting a different result.” He doesn’t have a ring for a reason… This ain’t boxing or golf get with the teams program or go get a day job. He’s a vet with poor work ethic in terms of practice and he has no interest in developing chemistry with his teammates. He needs to learn from Latrell Sprewell no man is bigger than the team and pride cometh before a fall.

  13. Damn….Cleveland would not be a bad place for him at all. Cause you have plenty of vets over there and no young players that they feel he could rub off on!!! A lot of this, I truely believe, he is bringing on himself all through actions. At this point in his career he has to be able to accept a ‘ROLE’ now! He is not a franchise builder anymore! Ask Shaq!!!

  14. I saw BUBBA CHUCK when he was n high school when i lived n HAMPTON .I knew he would great . He did it his way ! That would be a good trade. Lebron will need more than Shaq tn beat the LAKERS!

  15. Bring AI back to Denver!
He knocked it out with Carmelo Anthony.

  16. Its a conspiracy against him for the last how many years? they want him to come off the bench and shit and its insulting! the love of the game done left the dude, its over.. im sad too, he always been one of my favorite players

  17. Yo JD man i’m 25yrs old and I aint gon lie…I was followin AI from he was at GTown. I saw him as one of the greatest of our time man. But his problem is he never grew up man. AI still actin like that young kid that got drafted 1st pick in the L in ’96. One of the biggest things with him is he don’t put that work in during the off season to make his game better. Plus his attitude is trash man…dont no body wanna play with him becuz he dont know how to play team ball.
Now I aint gon front, Detroit did him dirty…i would have been pissed too. aint no way in hell there should have been a question of who to start between AI and Stcukey. that was like a slap in the face and I give him that. Plus I think things are catching up with him with the whole cornrows and tats n ish. I think owners and league execs are trying to usher in a new breed of players and since AI ushered in the whole ‘hip hop’ faze to the NBA he takin the brunt of the stick.
I think its all a conspiracy if you ask me. D-Stern them are like the mafia man, they run everything about that L. The way the game is officiated, the dress code, which player goes where (Gasol…need i say more). A big “famalia”
I think AI’s done tho. Great career just wish it ended better than this. He still doing it his way tho so I can’t knock him for that…

  18. JD IMMA PHILLY BULL SO I SEEN A.I FROM THE START, HIS BODY TAKIN A TOLL OF THE BEATIN, HIS MIND PLAYIN TRICKS ON HIM HE CANT DO IT LIKE HE USED TO DO IT. A.I. NEED THE BALL AND NO TEAM NEEDS HIM TO HAVE THE BALL ANYMORE….. NIGGA BETTER GET ON HIS SAM CASSELL ROLL AND COME OFF THE BENCH AND GET THIS MONEY…. THIS NIGGA FAMILY STILL LIVE IN MY TOWN AND EVERYTHING THEY USED TO HAVE BENZ AND ESCALADES ANDS AND ALL THE CLOTHES AND MONEY BUT SINCE A.I. TOOK A HIT I SEEN 1 OF HIS CUZINS TRYINA SELL WORK ON THE BLOCK MAN

  19. REAL RAP

  21. Yo, JD you talking bout iverson like that make me think you know basketball from a video game perspective, like you never been on a team and had to be a teammate. I live in philly and the time they went to the finals they played the most disfunctional and unrealistic nba basketball. Name 1 NBA team that has ever been susessful having 4 guys play defense and 1 guy that can score and only score. He was a defensive liability cant play point and not a leader on the court, Just cause your braids dont mean you a leader, and also how former great players become role players at the end of their career. JD, this is the ultimate non team player, Stick a fork in him unless he changes his attitude, i dont expect it, let him play on the video games and let him retire in the nba,

  22. I think A.I. needs that supporting cast like Artest has with the Lakers. He doesn’t need to be in a rebuilding process but placed in a championship process. Ivo needs to ask God what he should do and let that be his destiny. Grizzlies not a good look for A.I. I agree wit JD Cleveland is a good look. that LeShaq State of Mind.

  23. This nigga should just sit down and take it. Sorry AI, I’m a fan, butchur too fuckin old to still be whining about being on the bench. If ur not really makin a difference on the court, then what’s the purpose of having u around?…Exactly. Jus bow out gracefully.

  24. Iverson is a tough brother man. He’s playing off and on right now but I think the league hasn’t given him the staff to motivate him more so than that Sixers group he was with when they almost dismantled the Lakers. That was scary and Iverson had the whole league like whoa.

  25. Memphis is still building. If IA is willing to hang around, It’s a good match.

    Wizards would be good
    Miami
    Clippers
    Indiana?
    Boston?
    Nets?
    Portland
    Dallas..

  26. No, trust me we don’t want him here in Cleveland, it’s not about his skill’s on the court, it’s his attitude.. if he get’s that in check, then other teams will WANT him and players will WANT to be around him. Don’t pity a man who refuses to play because he was put on the bench, AI needs to find his love of basketball and earn his playing time just like any other player.

  27. A.I. is a BALL HOGG! Like LadyG3 said its not his talent its his attitude.

  28. He never had the character to be a champion. That’s all I have to say about A.I.

  29. I feel the same way you do. I hate when their trying to put a good player in a rocking chair before his time. I truley believe that A.I. can score 20pts a game on any team willing to give him the opportunity. It’s not like his skills have deminished so much that he is uncapeable of being an effective starter on an NBA roster. SMH

  30. some one said A.i old AI will tear any rookie are any one in the NBA ass up if jordan can play till the year 03 Ai can get another 3-5 years fucking people in the league is out for the season for ankle injuries but this dude A.I suppose to play with back injuries make no god damn sense put Ai on a team where he can start hands down

  31. By having AI coming off the bench is like having Kobe coming off the bench, so when D-Wade hits 34 years old the league going to tell him to come off the beach?

  32. He should have gone to Charlotte like he wanted to to reconnect with Larry Brown for Raymond Felton. I think Felton will improve over the years, but Charlotte needs to be a contender now.

  33. i agree with you Wall Street! That is why AI got out of Detroit…he is getting old, not wanting to come to practice and not a team player! That will never fly in Cleveland.

  34. Yeah J.D. that shyt has me buggin out too. Did you catch inside last night with kenny smith talkin about gettin old gracefully? I understand OJ Mayo is nice but i dont care if A.I. is 45 years old theres no way to explain to me how Mike Conley is a better guard then him. Sending to cleveland for delonte west is a genious move but i dont they would make that move. Im a nuggs fan and i love chancey billups but i still wish we had him out there. I wanna see him back with larry brown in charlotte personally.

  35. Im praying that he goes somewhere like Cleveland or Miami by Dec 15th.(Deadline) I live in a pert of NC on the VA line about 40 mins from Newport News….so i grew up feeling I knew Bubba personally although i only met him once. He is by far my favorite player ever and he deserves a ring. And as a side note…..practice….i wouldnt come to practice either if when im at practice i see that this team sucks and aint goin no where.

  36. I DON’T BLAME AI IF HE WANTS TO RETIRE BECAUSE AFTER THE 76ERS TRADED HIM OTHER TEAMS BENCHED HIM AND THE RESULTS SHOWED THEY WEREN’T WINNING THAT MANY GAMES. I WILL DEFINITELY MISS HIM IF DOES RETIRE BUT IF HE STILL WANTS TO PLAY THAT’S COOL ALSO.

  37. I agree 100%, i never thought i’d see this shit coming

  38. iverson is one of the reasons why i love basketball and i always got love for him no matter what but he deserves better he is a great player and i cant even express how i feel cuz he deserves more one of the best players in the world

  39. Allen Iverson is the reason I really started to play basketball. He is my favorite player in the whole ENTIRE NATION PLANET!!!!!!!! He is the hardest working no matter what anybody thinks. He is a warrior. It would be a real dissapointment if he leaves.

  40. AI is one of my favorite players of all time.I think he needs to understand he gotta be coming off from th bench. I know he feels he shouldn’t but he got 2. Kenny was taking bout what are the signs that it’s time to hang It up. N he might need to. No matter what 1st ballot hall Of famer

  41. Kind of a flashback to Marbury…. I wish him well in whatever he decides to do!

  42. I saw it comin too! Once he had that that rift with his coach & left the Sixers, I think that stigma stuck with him at every team he went to, kinda like the stigma that Sheed can’t seem to shake either or better yet, the 1 that followed Rodman in his last years in the NBA.
2 me AI is no more of a ball-hogger than a lot of people’s favorites *coughs* KOBE *coughs*. Ur right JD, he doesn’t need to be in 1 of those 10 minutes off the bench type player roles, but the problem is at this point where could he go where he wouldn’t be treated like that anyway.

  43. AI is a hell of a ball player however, like Mike Vick and so many other athletes, he failed to realize that he is not the only dude who can handle a ball. His attitude was piss poor and he felt that he was above rules and regualtions. No coach is gonna wanna put up with that, especially now that he’s older and doesn’t have many more basketball years in him. It sucks too because I love the point guard position and I watched AI when he was still at Georgetown. He’s awesome but he let his attitude overshadow his talents and now he’s paying for it.

  44. Hey JD,

I think AI should think about playing somewhere with a big man and a solid 2 guard… AI has to learn how
to become a roll player. Like take the ideal of him with his own team like Chaucey Billups in the detriot area…. I knwo they went through this but I am not talking about AI Playing for Detriot talking about with a line up similar to that where AI is running POint and the team is built around him but he is not the primary score he would be like the 2nd option of score instead of number one… AI needs to get back to being a true point guard, Like the old days… These new days in the NBA all teams want a true point guard to lead there team, they dont want a shoot first point guard anymore… Look at all the really good teams in the league now the starting point is a true point meaning( Dishes, drive and dishes, assist first , taking some one to the hole to get some one else open, to open up the floor, some one that compliments everyones skill that on the floor with them).. AI lost the sight of a true point guard he preferr the points, he preferr the props that i scored a lot of points and no one is getting better…. Or the team could of won the game…. I know he want a championship but it comes with sacrifice…..

  45. He should’ve called it one this summer when nobody wanted to sign him. He dont need the money and he def dont have nothing to prove AND he damn sure wasnt going to be competing for a championship in Memphis so what was the point?????

  46. Honestly it’s sad. I was a AI stan for years but I’ma need him to go out the a like a G. He’s too selfish and self absorbed. It’s hard for him to accept the fact that he’s not what’s hot anymore. Swallow ur pride and learn how to be a team player!

  47. I meant to say “got out like a G” LOL

  48. The skills are mos def there. I’ve never been fond of AI. I always thought he complained too much, but I’ll give him his props. Dudes got skills. But!! Its his stank ass attitude! You hear & see players go to other teams because they’re willing to do what it takes to win…its obvious he’s not willing to do whatever it takes to win a ring but willing to go wherever he can start. Gone & send him to cleveland. Still won’t be enough to beat my Lakeshow & that’s only gonna eff ish up in cleveland & send bron bron outta there even faster….Lakeshow shuttin down denver tonight too!! Sidenote…who got their watch already! I’m saving my white one to wear with my spacejams. Me & the Mr his & her jays his & her nu pop watches…move bioooottttccccchhhhhhh

  49. Honestly, its about the franchise backing AI and he doesn’t have that. Attitude? There are several players with attitude problems that have won championships. Hell I just got over Kobe’s and Pierce’s attitudes–they are tough cookies with major egos. So I believe it goes back to the franchise backing up a star player and supporting that player with a great supporting cast who knows their roles. AI doesn’t have that because he has been with franchises that haven’t understood that concept minus Philly (I think they did pretty well it just wasn’t enough). AI has to figure out if he wants to deal with this mess because that just what it is.

  50. he shoulda stayed his happy ass in Philly. Its been downhill from here. He gone end up on the internet dancing to Ryan Leslie like Stephon. I hope he does cause I found that thoroughly entertaining.

  51. Let D West Go and pickup AI… At least he wont be riding around with THREE guns on a motorcycle!!

  52. Denver all day Man like stop with the games lol

  53. AI has been my favorite basketball player since day 1. He is the reason I started liking basketball. I think its really fucked up what is going on right now.. niggas what him on the bench? This dude carried the 76ers for YEARS… managed to take there 0 talented ass to a finals is 01-02.. and won MVP even tho they didnt win…

Scoring champ on numerous occasions.. he is a unbelievable player. Thing is, niggas assume he cant do what he used to because he’s old. Thats the only reason anyone who think this, because he hasnt had a chance to show what he can do since he left denver.

I personally think this is bullshit. Memphis is garbage and a player like AI would more then help them… if they STARTED him. Wtf is he gonna do playing 8 minutes a game?

Trade him to Cleveland or somewhere that needs a Guard who can score on que and pass the ball effectively.

I hope this turns out for the best for AI, but it seems like the Grizzles owner wont trade him.

God dammit im not happy about this.

  54. cleavend and iverson sounds good at least give him sum hope to get a ring u would think he’d have more rings den kobe

  55. This is really sad… He was right when he said check my resume. The nba been trying to black ball him since he disrespected Jordan. They put the zone in the league for him. They put the dress code in for him. Now that he’s older they see that it’s easier to finally get him out of the league. He’s truly a one of one. None before it none to come! He’s blamed for being the face of the hip hop culture in the nba. He still got game before that bullshit in detroit last season he averaged 26 and 7. Now everybody want to put him on the bench. I think he’s the best little man of alltime.

  56. I can’t believe this is the end for AI he has always been one of my favorite players. We loved him here in Denver and he loved it here but unfortunately he couldn’t stay for various reasons, he brought a surprising maturity to the Nuggets team and he still has many many fans here. I think it would be great if he could come back to Denver but he would end up coming in off the bench because Chauncey is doing a great job and I don’t think he deserves that. He needs to be starting where ever he goes. I think he has a few more years left; he just needs to find a team that needs him and not to sit on the bench. Cleveland, I don’t know maybe?????

  57. This Topic scared me lmao! I thought something else.
I suck at all sports but it kinda pisses me off too! .
    LMAO no comment.

  58. AI is your favorite player’s favorite player

  59. Iverson is a great talent, but also is a cancer to any team. Perfect example Denver, he had a good team there but due needs the ball to much. This aint streetball, this is the NBA. Bad shot selection and excessive dribbling is what hurts teams. That is why teams tried to use him as a bench player so he can shoot all he wants wants with the second unit. AI has no team concept.

  60. MEMPHIS IS TERRIBLE YES AI SHOULD HAVE BEEN STARTING. THE LEBRON CAVALIERS IS WACK TOO THEY COULDN’T BEAT THE WEAK MAGIC LAST YEAR… THEY WILL NEVER WIN AND AI ON CLEVELAND IS LIKE ANOTHER DENVER TEAM NO. LEBRON IS WACK TOO HE IS JUST BIGGER THEN EVERYBODY ELSE. IVERSON SHOULD BE ABLE TO PLAY ON ANY TEAM HE LIKES… HE IS NOT A BENCH PLAYER HE CAN STILL PLAY. NEW YORK OR CHARLOTTE IS THE BEST FIT FOR HIM BUT HE IS NOT A BENCH PLAYER….

  61. Allen is not ready to fall in line and let LBJ be the franchise like Shaq did with DWade. Allen didn’t do that with Melo. He isn’t Chauncey Billips. AI is extemely tough but he doesn’t have a quiet Blue Collar attitude. That’s what Cleveland needs. They already have 2 prima donnas on the squad. I’m judging because I’m not AI and I don’t know the circumstances in Detroit and Memphis. However, you become damaged goods when the franchise point guard bows out of a losing season and the team goes on to make the playoffs. Or, you decide to move to the [only???] team that will pick you up and pay what you expect but can’t make it through the beginning of the season without negative press.

JD, Basketball aside, would you want that type of attitude in an artist; newbie or veteran?

  62. JD,

Man Brah This Shit Gets On My Nerves As Well. I’ve Been Stunned About This Whole Situation From Last Year When Detroit Asked Him To Come Off The Bench Until This Summer Where Nobody Acted Like They Wanted Him On There Team Until Right Now With This Memphis BULLSHIT! I Mean This Whole Off The Bench Bullshit Didn’t Start Until Last Year Like My Boy Allen Iverson Said NO ONE Was Considering Making Allen Iverson Come Off The Bench Because That Shit Don’t Even Add Up. Like I Tell People All The Time If You Trade LeBron James Or Kobe Bryant To Another Team Right Now For A Starting Player That Plays The Same Position As They Do Then Once They Get There Tell Them “Awww Yeah I Think You’d Be Better Coming Off The Bench With The Second Unit” See If They Don’t Flip The Fuck Out Either.

Before Allen Iverson Was Traded To Detroit He Was Averaging 26.4 PPG In Denver (The Year Before Since He Got Traded 3 Games Into The Season) Which Was 3rd In The League And He Was A STARTER Hands Down No One Would Even Think To Put Him On The Bench He Was A Franchise Player. When The Trade Went Down It Was A Starting Point Guard (Chauncey Billups) For A Starting Point Guard (Allen Iverson) So Where Does The Bench For Allen Iverson Even Come In To Play In This Equation???? When Billups Was In Detroit Stuckey Wasn’t Starting So Why Would He Start When Allen Iverson Gets There???? It Makes No Sense Then EVERYBODY Looks At Allen Iverson Like He’s The Bad Guy And He Killed The Team Or Something! Everybody Knows Detroit Was Going Downhill Anyways And Rip Hamilton FINALLY Came Out And Said They Weren’t Playing 100% Because The Coach Had Lied To Them Soooo Much But, Yet Still Allen Iverson Gets The Blame For Everything.

It Really Pisses Me Off Because It Shows You How Fickle People Really Are One Minute They’re On Your Side The Next Minute They Talking Shit About A Situation That They Are Looking At From The Outside. I Would LOVE To See Allen Iverson On The Cleveland Cavaliers With LeBron And Shaq But, I Do Have To Admit That I Like Delonte West Too JD But, I’d Trade Him For AI Anyday Of The Year (Including Leap Year LOL). AI Can Still Average A Good 24-30 PPG In The NBA Today And If They Push Him Into Retirement I Won’t Be Able To Look At The Game The Same Way Man. I’ve Been A Allen Iverson Fan For FOREVER And Imma Fuck Some Shit Up If He Retires So Soon Because Of Bullshit People And The Media LOL. Welp Imma End It Right Now Because I Could Go ALL DAY Imma ESPN Analyst When It Comes To The NBA Especially My Boy AI Shit I Know Just About Everything LOL But, I Just Had To Get My Point Out Though Glad You Posted This Shit And You Feel The Same Way I Feel JD. ALLEN IVERSON TO THE CLEVELAND CAVALIERS AS LONG AS CLEVELAND DOESN’T MAKE HIM TRY TO COME OFF THE BENCH TOO BECAUSE HE’S NOT A BENCH PLAYER HE’S PAID HIS DUES AND DESERVES TO START….HE DOESN’T HAVE A BAD ATTITUDE HE HAS A WINNING ATTITUDE SO PEOPLE GET THE SHIT STRAIGHT!!!!!!!!

  64. A.I. is my favorite basketball player and it saddens me to see this happening. I honestly would love to see him play for eternity but all good things must come to an end (at some point). But I don’t think that point has arrived for A.I. With that being said, everyone knows that he is a 2 guard, always has been, always will be. The frustration for me lies with the fact that the teams have been trying to switch him into a position he is not comfortable with and I think that’s where the issues took a turn for the worst. When he was changed into the 1 guard, he didn’t have a great player that he could dish to… it made him a better team player, but if you don’t have any other great players besides yourself and you’re the 1 who’s responsible for setting the other players up, where does that leave you? Fast forward to Denver where he still had to play the 1… it’s not his natural position. I think they could have did some damage in Denver, but it would have taken some time because 1) you have to get the chemistry going and 2) you have to have all your players healthy. Fast forward to Detroit… like someone else said, asking him to come off the bench was a slap in the face. A man who has started his whole career? It was bad enough that he was still playing a position that he isn’t naturally used to, but then you ask him to come off the bench? My attitude would have been shitty too. Fast forward to Memphis and yet again you ask him to come of the bench for a team that’s nowhere near a championship contender… If you’re bringing a normal starter who’s won the scoring title how many times to your team (which by the way doesn’t know what the championships even smell like), then you should be starting him… case closed.

It’s just a sad situation. Do I think he still has the skills? MOST DEFINITELY! And I think there probably is a team that could benefit from him. Cleveland is NOT that team. He needs to go to a team that has a solid cast and could benefit even more from him being on the team; a team that needs an additional scorer and great defender. Sending him to Charlotte may not be a bad idea. He’s still got a few years left. And as much as I would like to see him go out on a higher note, if he decides to hang it up now, he’ll always be my favorite player and I’ll always be one of his biggest fans.

  65. AI is that kid at the playground in all of our cities and that’s my folk but its has come to an end. BECAUSE Ai wont change his game to accomodate his abilities. What Jordan lost his hops he tweeked his game to prolong his longevity. AI is not doing this, he can not carry the load anymore, which by the way was his downfall anyway. If AI would play his part on a team everybody wouldd be knocking at his door. I hate to see him go but he wont rebuild his game to add valur to another team. Sorry AI, you’re still have the most heart in the league.

  66. I told ya yea clev could trade West for him but I don’t see enough touches for him, Bron and Shaq. He needs to come to Indy for Dun-Dun and I could see that happening. MAyb he will be back in Philly. Point is he is still a good player and could be the missing peice to a team to excel to the championship!!

  67. If I was Iverson I would just play my percentage of defense and make my shots when I have to. I would just let the game come to me. At this point, there’s no sense in killing myself until I see my team doin the same. Especially after coming the bench.

  68. JD,
AI is needed on the Atlanta Hawks, get rid of Bibby. This forces Joe Johnson to step his game up.
Get the ball inside to J-smooth, or anybody inside the paint. Draw the foul, sit them bullies down.
The Hawks need a more aggressive and confident syle of play. They work well under pressure,
now they need to learn to apply more pressure to the opposition.

    Peace of mind,

  69. YOOO Kandi… You bugged for that. I hope that never happens.

Yeah JD I saw this coming as soon as he got traded from Philly. He did his thing in Denver and should have stayed there but these teams won’t give him a chance to build. He needs a good trade where the team can be built around him but he’ll never the Iverson that walked over Tyron Lue. That was Iverson at his best. Besides homie had too many injuries in his career. We’ll see what happens from here on.

  70. I feel like AI is a great player, but the league is changing so much, let me take that back professional sports are changing as whole! You have to get in where you fit and play your best no matter what! This has been coming from years, AI had the league in his hand and let that shit go to his head, being and staying humble in the NBA is HUGE and AI hasn’t been that for so many years now. He is playing in the league where guards are at a elite status and he not cutting it anymore. His playing should be speaking for its’ self but it’s not; because he can’t keep his ass on the floor cause he won’t keep his damn mouth shut! Regardless of what anybody says, AI never has been and never will be able to get a ring by myself, because a ring not just aboutAI alone. Even the wonderful player himself MJ wouldn’t have been able to get his rings without Pippen, Rodman and crew. He put himself out of being on team worth something, if your running a business and he one of your best but he don’t show up for work, don’t like his coworkers, come and go when he want and talk to everybody any way he think is right, WHAT WOULD YOU DO??? You either fire their ass or you put them in a position that they still working in the company but won’t hurt your business…..that’s what the NBA has done..but most importantly AI did it to himself! AND….this is coming from a AI fan..so I don’t want to hear that I”m a hater ish!!

Another perfect example…nfl…Terrell Ownes…and if Ochino not careful he soon to follow

  71. I like the idea of West for Chuck… I was sayin the same thing to my wife the other day, like “am I the only nigga that think AI aint old?” lol

  72. I cant stand it! I have people texting me all the time rubbing it in since I live in Boston too! Hes still got it!! I dont like to see how he started complaining after his FIRST game with them after he missed the entire preseason.. But what can you do!? I hope something happens for him cause he NEEDS that Championship!! After everything else that hes won… he just needs that!!!

    Shocka!
    @2N1cemusic

  73. yea Brandon Jennings is the new Iverson so let him go and step into now.

  74. Don’t get me wrong AI is a future hall of famer. He’s just been a cancer to teams the last couple years. I’m from Cleveland and feel we don’t need him. If anything we should have got Stephen Jackson for Z and West. The only reason that didn’t go through was because the Cavs wanted Golden State to buyout Big Z contact, then after 30 days we would resign him for cheaper like Ben Wallance did in Detroit. But back to the subject (had to vint as a Cavs fan really quick they all we got Browns & Indians are horrible…lol) AI will still get you 20pts a game just not in the flow. If he goes to NY that’s just to make him happy and he will start. If he continues down this road his career will be remembered the last 5 yrs instead of the whole body of work.

  75. I don’t think he’s done playing well atleast i hope not. He’s still one of my favorite players and i don’t want to see him end his career like this. I could see him going to the cavs but being realistic ai,lebron, shaq nah that won’t happen. But since i’m a big cavs fan. Clevland make it happen lol. The move to new york would fit him better. He could go there and start like he wants to.

  76. I have found that this post and reader comments are quite fascinating. In my experience, this is a solid web site to find articles on matters like natural health. Can someone here show me where to locate more particular posts on this subject, please? Thanks a bunch!
