  1. I feel like he is doing a good job for the most part but, I don’t see any real reason to have any troops overseas.

  2. they need to be protecting us

  3. All in all. I feel he can’t just fix 8 years of fuck ups overnight. However in this case
overnight = a year. It will take time. But I do think that he’s doing a good job.

  4. we will always have our military out in the middle east. maybe not as much as bush had out there but yeah. as long as there oil out there he has to keep some soldiers out there.

  5. i dont know…i reach out to u all day jd….still no responds….MY MUSIC IS HOT AND MY TRACKS…I WANT TO BE DOWN WITH UR TEAMS CALL ME BRAH…9196381814..I AM NOT GIVING UP..MY FAM NEEDS TO EAT

  6. plus he doing a good job. it just takes time.

  7. I don’t think he’s fuckin up but doing the best he can do with the bs he was left with also they said they got close to binladin so he’s goin in

  8. I don’t think he has a choice. To pull out of Afghanistan would mean to let terrorists win. They get space and opportunity to plot. Then the US would be on the defensive. Better to spend money and stay in control than save money and not know where the next hit is gonna come from.

  9. Honest to god..He’s fucking up. i voted for him last November and i have been very disappointed. Even though he is black, and i am very proud of him and his accomplishments. We can’t let that blind us from dishing out a little criticism. Hopefully he make some changes in due time. But dam i said that 3 4 months ago. He has to speed up the pace on this change he so heavenly preached about.. peace jd. i enjoy the ltl shits..

  10. yeah i think president obama is doing the best he can do with what he was left with if he just takes the troops right out without doing it the right way can be really bad… there are alot of people there who do need us … i think that other countrys should be able to run without the help of the u.s.a. but until they can do that we have to help…. but what alot of people don’t look at is bush fucked up 8 years how can u clean up 8 years of fuckey in a few mo’s it’s just not fair … but i think he’s doing a great job

  11. its all money JD u know dat. http://www.zshare.net/audio/644219464713a0d9/

  12. I don’t know.I know that he said he wanted to end the war so sending more troops does appear counterproductive. But when you really think about it he got handed a country that was a mess and we expect it all to be fixed in a day.On top of our own country being messed up we’re over in Afganistan too.I know we want to get out but it would probably be bad to just leave. As regular citizens we don’t know much about the actual politics of things so this might be the best move.If we just up and left one day it could lead to a bigger problem than we have now.Maybe he has a plan that he can’t share with us.No matter how much we want to know. Also, we have to keep in mind that he isn’t 100% in control.
I don’t want to see more troops dying over something that wasn’t our business in the first place so I hope we get out of there soon either way.

  13. In my honest opinion, I think he’s doing the best with what he was left with, I also think that we need to bring our asses from over there. There isn’t anything else over there that we have to worry about. Osama’s ass is somewhere chillin crackin the fuck up at us. If we’re going to bring our troops home, we need to do it now.

  14. yeah i don’t see any real reason to be over there. i just don’t understand why we’ve been over there for so long. bush phucked everything up. obama all the way. & yeah he ain’t gonna clean up bush’s mess in a day. that’s what people don’t understand. they need a reality check. i think obama’s doing a good job so far. there’s not much he can do in 9 months. but i don’t see why we gotta bring out more troops. we should be bringing them home.

  15. From what my discussions with my family have been (I have a brother who JUST got back from Iraq two months ago and is now going to be deployed to Afghanistan) Obama doesn’t have full control of the situation…but…

…I hate the fact that our troops are being sent over therre and NOBODY still has a reason good enough for us to risk/lose lives doing so. Its something one person cannot stop.

Citizens of America have to bind together to do something about the issue of the troops being therre when they don’t need to be. We have bigger issues IN the U.S. that need to be taken care of before they try to interfere with someone else’s government OUTSIDE the U.S.

  16. I honestly feel like he hasn’t done shit else, so it may be a good thing cuz we do need some protection and find a way to just end that shit. BUT I do feel like he should be a little bit concerned about his staff for protection at his House. HOW THE FUCK is just some random ass bitch gonna literally just walk up into the white house like that, crash a WHITE HOUSE party, and shake Obama’s hand. That could have been anybody and if they had bad intentions, it could have been real bad. So IDK.

  17. I do not think he wants to send more troops over but I do not think he has a choice. I personally think there is something more going on behind the scenes that has him in a position where he has to send more troops over. Think about it, he’s been very open about wanting to bring the troops home. When you hear “bring the troops home” you think he’s going to be able to have them out of there in a few months or so. It hasn’t happened. Instead you see him sending more troops over. Obviously, things we not set up as basic as he thought. For some one who was so avid about bringing troops home, I’m sure it tore him up to have to send more over. I think he’s doing a great job but there is some type of way things are set up that makes it way more difficult than anyone would imagine to bring troops home. Things don’t seem to be that simple but he’s handling them.

  18. I feel like Obama is the face of the United States. Meaning this ,you can think of any entertainer and you see them sing and dance, or act. The audience is like wow they did a good job, if there good. What they dont see is there are a lot of people behind that one performer thats instructing, setting rules ordering guidelines and training. He is the face the Presidents is doing what he was paid to do. Does he have power? Yes ….How much? Not sure.. He is the face he is doing the best he can. His intentions are good. However when your the first anything , it’s always harder. Let Him breath… I said all that to say hell no when do not need our troops there… Nothing against Obama though..

  19. He’s doing what he can!! JD, the comment section on 2012 is broken. It’s a hit because in a movie, we had a Black scientist (who helped make the discovery) a Black president, and Africa made out well!! LOL Can’t ask for more!!

  20. Honestly, I feel like he is doing the best he can with what he has. Most of us are on the outside looking in and we are so quick to jump and say he needs to just put a end to the war because it makes no sense, we are right about the war making no sense but we also need to understand that Obama can’t just say “ok war is over everybody go home” he has to figure out the best way and most of all a SAFE way to bring our troops home and protect the U.S. too. I love Obama and I think he is doing a great job!

    MISS TINK.

  21. Bush left him with a shitty hand in the middle of the game. He can’t just quit. If he could bring the troops home then he would. and i know that hez not sending more troops out there for no reason.

  22. I’m just as lost JD. I think he came into a big mess and people want him to rush and fix shit. I see it like winging someone of crack. You got to do it gradually. There’s no quick way to stop something that’s been going on for years. People need to let him do it the best way he can. He aint a magician.

  23. When i’m at work all the time we have discussions on this because I’m so lost like why can’t their military take over and we are so stupid becuase we are over there training and teaching them the same things that we know and building them up HOW STUPID OF US IT THAT . First I have no idea why we went into Iraq and ain’t acomplish not a damn thing there. Then why we had to move to afghanistan and protect them but it took time to get in this shit so it will take us time to get out. You can’t rush him really and you can’t blame OBAMA because he didn’t do it another president did this and left office knowing that this whole thing was going to be in his hands. So things just dont happen over night everything takes time and is a work in progress. Even though I still don’t understand why we are there and can’t leave. We not helping the situation. And I really feel sorry for these troops that go over there becuase once you are in you can’t get out there is NO WAY OUT. People get arrested for not returning and it’s a very scary situation. And then after they put their life on the line for our country they can’t even get the same help and benefits as everyone else it’s just very very crazy situation that I wish we can get out of but I believe there is a deadline NEXT YEAR but it’s still stupid for us to train them because what if one day we got into a war with their army were not right now but think about it we are HELPING AND TEACHING THEM TO WHOOP OUR ASS IF IT EVER COMES TO THAT POINT 🙁

  24. Honestly, I think it’d be best for the troops if the troops just pulled out of fighting. Afghanistan has always been a problem for armies and I don’t think this time will be all that different. There is so much corruption in the government over there it’s hard to say what will go on after the troops leave anyway. Also, they’ll always be a civil war over there between different tribes/ethnic groups. It’s fucked up to say but democracy isn’t for every nation, they’re like republicans and democrats on steroids over there and one group will not allow itself to be controlled by another so they’ll be fighting forever.

With all that said, it’d be wrong of the US to just pull out without building some type of infrastructure (schools, hospitals, military) for the people to support themselves. With that done maybe the people wouldn’t continue to view America as all evil and they could see the Taliban for what it is. But as long as those people live in such poverty Afghanistan will continue to be a problem because they have to place the blame somewhere and America would be a great target if Obama pulls the troops out.

I was opposed to the war from jump in both Iraq and Afghanistan for this very reason. Extremism has a base in more than just those two countries. That’s why the US continues to send drone strikes in Pakistan. But the more you kill these “terrorists” the more pop up because they view the US as invaders. It’s like trying to cure an infection in one part of the body with out curing the underlying illness. It mad no sense from the start and now we have a mess. I wish Obama the best but I don’t no if his proposal is the solution.

  25. I feel like he’s doing the best with the hand he was dealt. It’s very hard to try to fix 8 years of mistakes in a 4 year span. It’s especially hard to try to do it over night. But I have faith that things will get better. Things are a little shaky now because he has so much of Bush’s leftovers but once he cleans that plate and makes a plate of his own we’ll be ok

  26. I think that he is doing the best that he do with what he has but I also feel like he’s not doing anything he promised when he was out there campaigning for my vote. I didn’t vote because he was a black man I voted for him for what he stood for and his platform but I really don’t see any changes being made. There is still hunger in America and so many people are still without jobs. As for him sending more troops to Afghanistan I don’t think its our fight obviously these people don’t want or need our help they are killing and injuring our troops so I think its time we got our troops back on american soil.

  27. Jd..Obama didnt phuck up nething the shyt was already phucked up by George Bush..I would not want ObamAs job tho cuz ppl r riding his shoulders with the faith that he can straighten things out..I believe he cAn but it’s not gonna happen in 4 years..I cAn’t understand how Bush did all that he did and didn’t offer any explanation while Obama has to justify everything he does..the war that Bush got us in is bankrupting this country and now it’s not as easy to just pull out.i don’t know all the strategies involved with the war(s) but too many ppl r losing their lives..I ride for Obama cuz I think he’s doing the best he can with the hand he was dealt..ppl want someone to blame go drag Bush’s azz off that million dollar ranch he’s living on not caring about who he affected..one things for sure Barack does care..

  28. I think President Obama is doing the best that he can with what he was left with. Sending more troops may help us get out of there a lot sooner than later. I agree with a lot of the lifers when they say we will always have troops overseas as long as their is oil involved.I just hope and pray that God guides him to do the right thing for our country. God bless him and our troops.

  29. Al Qaeda claimed responsibility for 9/11 they lived in Afghanistan with permission from the Taliban (the ruling govt of Afghanistan pre war). So we attacked those responsible took out the Taliban who were allowing them to live there and chased Al Qaeda then W got sidetracked and wanted to get Saddam. So we never finished doing what we went to do in Afghanistan. O ran on focusing on Afghanistan so this isn’t unexpected………. or shouldn’t be for those that paid attention to what he was saying and not just that he was black. So as far as I’m concerned he’s on track.

Afghanistan is the empire killer (Alexander the Great and Russia both failed to take it over cause the landscape is rough) but you either decide to attack terrorists and try and build Afghanistan into a viable country not just a Narco state (Largest exporter or opium that’s how the nation has made money) or you pull out of the entire middle east and hope that they fight it out amongst themselves without messing with one of our allies which would require us to go into the region anyway. He has no options in the matter really. We still trying to get back at the folks for 9/11 cause W was busy chasing the dude that tried to kill his father.

  30. OBAMA is picking up where Bush left off as far as this war is concerned. It’s totally about this countries invested interest & it’s need to control. Also HIS WILL shall be done & it’s evident given the facts of recent events. I am so thankful for my gifts & my BIBLE & that HE afforded me the opportunity to let U know why I felt I had to keep a secret.

  31. i think President Obama is doing the best job he can. He was handed a war and all the bullshit that goes along with it. now that Baghdad is under control kind of, most of the fighting has moved to Afghanistan where Bin Laden and terrorist are training and live among the villagers. they hide and have people afraid tell where to find these fools. The soldiers that are there now are on the second, third and maybe longer tour of duty so its time for some fresh men and women to go over there. now I’m not saying its right but this is the hand that President Obama is dealt

  32. Unfortunately, If I had to give President Obama a grade right now it would be C+. I truly believe he is trying his best but as his first year in office comes to a close he has continuously made a direct shift from the platform and campaign promises he ran on.

    1. The Wars in Afghanistan & Iraq – President Obama ran for office on a platform and overall public support with the intent of expediting removal of troops from both of these areas and instead with this latest decision will do the opposite. He will instead have increased troops in Afghanistan while we still maintain a highly significant presence in Iraq. If the major threat of terrorism comes from Afghanistan and we NEED to be there to fight The Taliban and other terrorist groups then I believe we should be there. However, that doesn’t mean we can’t begin removal of troops from Iraq, especially since they now have an elected government in office and a military of there own.

    2. The Economy – Although the economic situation is improving and I don’t disagree with any of the President’s moves to provide gov’t assistance and money in certain areas (i.e. American Automakers) the situation for us African-Americans and minorities is treacherous with unemployment rates at depression levels. The government and this administration continuously states the creation of jobs which I believe but I don’t see these jobs provided for people within our communities and I believe there needs to be a greater outreach and focus.

    3. Health Care – Honestly, with the passage of any health care reform I would easily re-grade the President to a B. The problem I have here is the continual concessions he has allowed Republicans to amend the Bill (i.e. abortion rights, Public Option etc.) I doubt real changes will take place. I commend the President for stepping in and personally speaking with members of the House to get the Bill passed there but now he also needs to take a strong stance in the Senate without the Health Care Reform bill being dissected again by Republicans to where any reform would be minor and negligible.

    4. Random Acts of Bitchassness – I support The President but too often I’ve had to shake my head in disgust for acts I can only define as bitchassness. 1. Inviting the Police Officer who harassed Prof. Gates for a drink at the White House – I mean c’mon really – a pure p.r. move but this was ridiculous! Did President George W. Bush meet w. Sean Bell’s family when NYPD officers shot and killed him?
    2. “Playing It Safe” – The Republican party it seems ever since President Obama has been elected has on the fringes become more radical and frankly racist in disrespect towards him. However, his responses to these tactics are always p.c. and never the truth – for once I’d like him to speak his mind and admit many republicans are playing a race card in opposition to his policies, platform and presidency and he doesn’t appreciate it. 3. Failure to campaign for black candidates – Mid-Term and Mayoral elections just happened in many important areas including cities of Atlanta and New York
yet the President to my knowledge did not lend any hand in helping any candidates (particularly those who were black in helping to get elected) I know he’s trying to play it safe but c’mon man! One prime example in NYC where candidate Bill Thompson (African-American) was running against incumbent Mayor Bloomberg. He ended up losing the race by just a couple of percentage points and most analysts and papers including the NYTimes agreed that had Obama helped during the campaign with even an appearance he could have won.

Sorry for the rant JD and fellow Lifers, it’s just I care alot about this country and when I casted my ballot for President Obama last year November I held him to a standard, not just as being the first black president but also being a person who could help motivate and transform this country. I still believe he will eventually succeed but I’d also be lying if I didn’t say year 1 has been a rocky road. I also think there’s room to be critical of the President without being disrespectful.

  33. Man, it’s a touchy subject JD. I feel like Obama was doomed from the moment he ran for Pres. I mean look at the mess George Bush left behind, no one could do any worse, just try to set us on the right path. This is partially why I think “they” even let him run. “Why not let the Black man give it a shot? It’s not like he can do anything but make more enemies for the Afro-Murricans, then we won’t have to ever worry about another “one” running for President.” I think Obama is a great man for America, but sometimes I do question if I voted for him just because he understands “our” struggles. He secretly went and backed the Homeland security bill and sent more troops over seas. I don’t care about the argument that our soldiers are over there protecting us, when the enemies who terrorized America in the first place were already living here. I mean some Jewish kid, Harlem hustla, or neighborhood crack head could wake up one day on a mission to harm American civilians and there wouldn’t be any troops to stop them. What about the military psychiatrist who recently went on a killing spree on our soldiers, what army protected them? Oh, my bad, they are the army! I feel like the Afghani people don’t even have the resources or will to do harm to America, those insurgents are making makeshift weapons to hurt soldiers needlessly. What needs to happen is our soldiers help get Afghani people equipped to handle themselves against insurgents so our soldiers can come home. Let them keep their oil and focus on protecting and building our soil right here in the U.S.A.

  34. I think that President Obama is doing an awesome job considering the circumstances that were handed down to him. It’s gonna take longer than a year to clean up 8 years(and then some) worth of f*** ups! George Bush continuously ran this country into the state that it’s in, in an attempt to finish what his father George Bush Sr. started, but that’s another subject within itself! However, I don’t feel that any more of our Troops need to be sent overseas, but, whatever needs to be done to protect this country has to be done. I wish Obama the best and may God continue to watch over the Troops and their families.

  35. I FEEL THAT OBAMA HAS WEIGHED THE PROS AND CONS, AND FEELS THIS IS THE BEST MOVE TO END THIS THING. DON’T GET ME WRONG…I HATE SEEING TROOPS RIPPED AWAY FROM THEIR FAMILIES, DYING DAILY, AND COMIN HOME UNABLE TO FIT BACK INTO SOCIETY FULLY!! BUT I WANT THE END OF THIS WHOLE CRAZINESS, AND OBVIOUSLY HE FEELS THIS IS THE WAY 2. I WILL DRAW MY FINAL CONCLUSION AFTER HIS SPEECH 2DAY (12/1/09). I HOPE OUR PRESIDENT CAN FOLLOW THRU & DELIVER WHAT HE PROMISED DURING THE CAMPAIGN, AND I WILL DO MY BEST TO SUPPORT HIM. BUT I HAVE TO WEIGH MY OWN PROS AND CONS IN THE PROCESS. YOU SHOULD ALWAYS WEIGH YOURS TOO!!!!

  36. I do think that President Obama is doing a great job. He has done what he said he would do while he was campaigning which is great compared to the typical politician that lies to get into office so they can collect a check and not make a difference.

  37. I feel he is doing the best he can with what he is left with. Strategically bring all troops home would only bring the reality of what is going on over there to our doorstep. When i voted for him i said i trust he would have my best interest ay heart. With the understanding that i may not agree with all his decisions.
It could be worst McCain could be ru!ning shit and drafts would be in motion not to mention the lower class would be a larger percent of the country’s population compare to where it is now. Who best to run a broke ass nation with adversity?! LOL Let that BLACK MAN rock.

  38. In short, our President has had exactly ONE year to fix EIGHT years of WHAT THE FUCKERY.

  39. Obama is doing the best he can with what he has. Next year will be the real test for him. As for the wars, Iraq was about WMDs (and *coughs* oil) and Afghanistan is about the terroist cells that reside there.

The Khobar Towers bombing in Saudi Arabia in the summer of 96 is the perfect example of why we can’t just up and leave Iraq, let alone Afghanistan. I spent a few months in Saudi following that bombing and it wasn’t fun keeping my shit in arms reach. But luckily the door is closing on Iraq which means its the last time my half brother will be over there…he’s on his 3rd tour right now. But that doesn’t mean the terrorist threat will end in Iraq either. There will always be folks that are weak enough to believe that great things will come their way by killing innocent people in the name of jihad.

As for Afghanistan, that place is overrun with terrorists whether domestic or foreign and they mostly live in the mountains holding little defenseless villages hostage with fear. I read a book by a former navy seal about the first troops into Afghanistan, its called “Lone Survivor” by Marcus Luttrell. Ya’ll should check it out…shit is str8 crazy!!! I was having dreams thinking about all the shit this guy when through. It’ll give you better perspective of what goes on there moreso than cnn. 😉

  40. i think he’s working with what he was left with. i do think he’s trying..but im with u im confised a lil too..me n politics are not good friends

  41. I’m split i kind of think he fucking up but then again he has to do it to make people happy, because we have no business in afganistan in the first place.Eight years is enough and its time to leave and let them run their own country, besides terrorist or not just in afganistan their in europe parts of africa and even some parts os the u.s..i personally don’t believe its keeping the u.s. safe by staying over there or sending more troops its just worsting a problem thats going to keep going on and on and it will never have an end.I think he should do like he promised and keep his word when he said he would end the war as soon as posible.

  42. JD, the whole thing with Afghanistan is that we need to be there.
While Bush was handling personal vendetta’s in Iraq for 7 years, the REAL WAR was supposed to be being fought in Afghanistan. That’s where Bin Laden has been hidding out while the Iraq war was going down, but Bush couldn’t be bothered wit dat shit cuz he had to handle his daddy’s business from years earlier with the other 1.
The sad thing is, We ALL knew we were fighting the WRONG war, yet Bush got re-elected anyway when we knew he was just gonna continue on doing what he was doing.

People have short attention spans! Obama has been, at least, trying to accomplish everything that he spelled out for us during his campaign. It’s silly to expect it all to be better NOW when he hasn’t even been in office a full year, & quite frankly I don’t see how it can all get accomplished in 4 years either.Especially considering that the NO Party is trying to block every single blessed thing that Obama is trying to do… with the exception of Military shit, cuz they know that Democrats aren’t too keen on war stuff *sighs*. At this point my only complaint is that Obama needs to stop playin “Mr. Nice Guy” with the Republicans because it sure as hell ain’t workin………He tried the bi-partisan stuff & we see how far that has gotten him. Now it’s just time for him to give them the big F-U and be like Bush with his majority and push his agenda on through.

  43. @Terrell EXACTLY!!!!!!! Well said.

  44. Tell all lifers to learn to play chess and they will understand one/one hundreth of the strategic discipline needed to strategize the globe.

Unfortunately, pawns, rooks and knights get taken in the effort to protect home.

Note: Its not about winning the war, the US has always been able to do that. Its about Obama’s determination to have an exit strategy which will empower the host (afghanistan). For example, he didn’t ask Japan for 5 Billion to fund the war but to BUILD when the war is over.

The man is brilliant in the most simplistic way!!

  45. I think Obama is and has been the face of great change in our society. We are now beginning to see the NWO. This is something we expected right at the year 2000 but it didn’t show up until the day Obama was swarn in as President. The war is something Obama has to deal not to say its something he really wants to deal with right now. He understands that we really should take care of the home front before foreign situations. I think he understands that we have no business with our necks in the foreign air and USA has poverty and low job numbers, people under trained throughout the military and workforce. There is also too much corruption in local and national government. Anyways, I THINK BEFORE IT’S ALL OVER WITH, THERE WILL PROBABLY BE ANOTHER BUSH TO RESOLVE THE MATTER TOTALLY OVER THERE. If Obama end the struggle over there then he will definately be President again.

  46. JD,
This is Play Boi from Game Tyte again trying to catch up with ya like always. About the over seas issue well I think that he is pretty much doing what he he feels he has to do sending troops over there man. Feel me? But I mean it is crazy, because it’s like we always well they anyways always having troops over seas in other nation’s mix then when they folks go 2 droppin Bombs like Brat and them K’s they get to lookin crazy. Bin ain’t been caught yet. So that should say to some what Obahma leave them crazy folks alone brother. Say JD man are you gone ever listen to me and my home boy music man myspace.com/gangstafiedrecordings You Tube Game Tyte “Down Here”, After Da Last Song, or “We Go Hard”

  47. JD 1 (205)572-3242 Game Tyte get at us man myspace.com/gangstafiedrecordings

  48. Jd,

    1 (205) 572-3242 myspace.com/gangstafiedrecordings

  49. I think given the things he inherited, he is doing the best he can do. He doesn’t have a military background so he listens carefully to the things that his military advisers tell him. We have troops there because BUSH initially ordered them there. Now we have created chaos and there is no way to safely get our men out and not cause even more havoc in that region w/o increasing the troops.

On a side note, I get really frustrated w/ everyone second guessing him. He is a human just like everyone else. The problems he is dealing with were NOT created by him. I think that we need to at least acknowledge that he was man enough to try and tackle them. Has he had some missteps…YES who wouldn’t in the type of situation he is in. Lets pray for him and get behind him. Give him at least two years to try and get us from up under what we were dealing with. Even though there are still a lot of things wrong with our economy, there were changes that he pushed for that are making things a little better. Sigh…

  50. to be honest, I don’t think Obama know what he doing. I say that because before obama became president he admitted that he wasn’t too bright on the foreign policies and militaries an all dat other shit thats why he seen fit to put biden in charge of that area obama said when he gets in office he will bring the troops home even though he couldnt bring them home all at once he was going to bring them home now he’s sending more troops overseas i think he just doing what biden telling him to do

  51. I think sending them now is too little too late. He been bullshittin around on this decision for too long. The Commander told him MONTHS ago they needed more. He has NO military experience so he has no idea what he is doing. His best bet is to get more troops over there. Kill as many folks as he can and pull out. This entire war in Iraq and Afghanistan has been mismanaged. The only reason we are coming out of Iraq is because they told us to…NOT because of the campaign promises our President ran on. That shit got completely swept under the rug. In case you hadn’t figured I DIDN’T vote for Obama. We paid our enemies in Iraq not to kill us anymore and they took the money. The money is being funneled over to Afghanistan and we are being killed over there. There will be another attack in America.

  52. i think he inherited a terrible situation, what he needs to do is what he thinks is best but he is too worried about disappointing people he cant please everyone ,so he needs to think 4 hisself and not let too many people in his ear and all this mess will take time.we was never suppose to be over there any way now he has a hard task to figure out when is the best time to pull the troops but he do not need to send no more over there and bush knew obama was gonna win so he set all this mess in motion so obama would look bad while trying to figure out what to do that’s politics 4 ya.

  53. President Obama cannot turn water into wine. Therefore, he cannot make his “Change” in 1 year. He might not have military experience but it comes with being President. He cannot pick and choose which parts of the U.S. to preside over. Why be confused because he sends more troops? It wasn’t some random act of decision. As many people have said he is doing the best he can (with the hand he was dealt).

  54. Dear GOD, I pray for all families who has lost life and is losing lives as we carry on right now. Please touch our planet and heal the ills of the region and deliver a miracle that ends the war in the middle east by Christmas. We love you GOD. I pray in your name that your blessing is bestowed upon us to witness. Amen.

  55. I love President Barack Obama; he about the finest president America has ever had. Lol. But I do not see reason to send more troops over to Afghanistan, because… WHY ARE WE OVER THERE?

& also; I hate how everybody expects him to be nothing less perfect. He didn’t say he was Jesus in the form of a black man [I just wanted to say ‘in the form of a nigga’ but that’s disrespectful. Lol] But anyway, people are expecting change a little too quick. He just got in office a year ago, so chill out & let him do what he thinks is right. I hate hearing how people be trying to talk about the President’s job like it’s something so simple as running a little restaurant or some shit. There’s some teachers who can’t even run they own classroom, but got shit to say about the President like it’s easy to run a nation; fuck out of here with that.

  56. & everyone needs to realize that he came into this mess; he didn’t create it. This was on his plate BEFORE he got in office. I’m not making excuses, but that’s just what it is.

I am Charismatic & I approve these messages.

  57. I think Obama is doing what the hell he has to do to get things done. Shit always gets worse before better. Give him some damn time. I’m tired of peeps attacking him.

    Nisha
    XOxo

  58. Barack is a very smart man! He is cleaning up what the Bush administration has left behind. We truly do not need to have any part of this war that has been going on for the past 8 years. It is time for the U.S. to “Back Up” and allow these countries to run their own affairs. BILLIONS of U.S. dollars are being wasted! The U.S. has her own problems. We are cutting back on education. If we do not educate our children we will fall behind in global competition.
    Come on Washington …. ” WAKE UP ” !!!

  59. “His best bet is to get more troops over there. Kill as many folks as he can and pull out.”

Well damn Kandi, if that’s the case then the US should just pull the remaining troops out and drop an A-bomb.

People need to stop saying give Obama time and giving him the space to do what he wants. Power corrupts, I don’t care who you are. I agree with much of what Naj1 has said about Obama. Because I busted my ass to work on his campaign and I don’t feel I’m getting maximum return. He’s not going as hard as he should, especially when it comes to Republicans. And I believe it’s going to cost Democrats the House and Presedency in 2012. I understand he has alot on his plate, and I’m pulling hard for him but he needs to be tougher and a little less cerebral. I’m going to stay in his corner because of all the bullshit being thrown at him by the GOP but he is not above criticism.

  60. JD being a service member myself and have been deployed once I can honestly say we can’t just pull everyone out and say we don’t wanna do this any more. Its to many people over there that depend on our Armed Forces to give them jobs over seas, make sure there childern are safe at school or there love ones get home safe from the roads we protect every day. We are not the only ones loseing people in this war, they are too and its sad but when you sign up in the military you go in with the possiblity that you will go to war so when its your turn you just hope and pray that if God sends you down there He will bring you back and if you don’t like the fact that you will get deployed get out or don’t join….its not for everybody, its a job that not everyone can handel. And I beleive President Obama is just trying to do the best he can with a messed up situation and if you start to dout he’s choices thats not helping either. We have to support him and hope everything will work out for the better in the end.

  61. What it is cuz, this is Chip. Holla back

  62. Go see the movie Charlie Wilson’s War, it’s based on a true story about when the US went into Afghanistan in the 70’s (or 60’s). Basically we can’t make the same mistake twice. The Afghan people have some hate toward the US because of how we pulled out and left their country in pieces. Some say that the problems today stem from how we pulled out the last time. In The 70’s the US funded some of the same groups we are fighting against today.
We are fighting 2 wars in Afghanistan. 1 is against the non-terrorist locals who simply don’t want the US on their land again. The other war is against the terrorists who use the area to train for and plan to attack “enemies of Islam.”. The only way to make everyone happy is to defeat the Islamic extremists and then pull out of Afghanistan so that the people who don’t want us there can go back to their daily routines.

  63. Ok, first off, I feel he was forced to play this hand and send more troops over. He had to send more troops over there so he would not loose the support of all of those in the armed forces. They already question his decisions and why it took so long for him to send help. I feel that it sucks because he is put is such a bad situation. He is pretty much Damned if he does something and Damned if he doesnt. And you cannot tell me we are still fighting “Terrorism”. The US Government has to have other motives (Oil) for our troops to still be over there. Why? We have problems here in the US that needs to be fixed. Poverty, horrible living conditions, I mean there are people in the US that live in homes with no Plumming systems. How can we tell another country how to operate when we have similar problems. That just aint right. Obama was left with many problems and as just about every one before me is saying it is going to take more then one year to fix. Give the man some time.

  64. Now that We are in pursuit of Bin Laden I think we should stay in pursuit. They will think they’ve won giving them fuel to continue doing their evil against us (U.S.) When they catch B.L. that will put doubt into his followers’ heads. So yes Obama is doing right in continuing the fight against terrorism.

  65. I feel like he is doing what he can to fix whats left to salvage. Me being a soldier myself I feel like he will not be able to fix 8years of mess up just that quick. He is doing what he can and is going to need lots of time and support from his Country to do so.

  66. Minnie im not saying all that but guess what. We have technology right now that can kill our enemy from the air while the person doing the killing is in Washington D.C. The planes are guided by personnel at the Pentagon. The planes fly 4,000 ft above the ground. When we get intel of where the “evil doers” are we bomb them from the sky and they don’t even know its coming and CANT retaliate. That’s the only fighting we need to be doing at this point.

  67. Oh and yall kill me with this “ he is doing the best with what he was left with” HE SIGNED UP FOR THIS SHIT. WILLINGLY! lol

  68. JD,
He is doing what he can with what he was left with.

In December 2001, U.S. troops located Bin and his boys, and Bush told the troops to
back off, that our beef was with Sadaam. They followed orders and now, the terrorist have grown stronger.

We must go in and exterminate these parasites, who on September 11, 2001, murdered our children,
son, daughters, aunts, uncles……………Unlike the Bush Administration, we going in & gonna go hard
until the threat no longer exists. And as an example to any others who are even thinking about it:
    Poof be gone.

    Peace of Mind,
    PrettyBrownEyes

  69. Okay let see if I can give the short version;

Obama is doing the best he can because he’s the only thing that has changed in Washington. The Congress which has the power to halt any and all progress are doing exactly that. A major problem is that “WE” the people who got him elected act as though the job is done. . . it is not.

Obama needs our support now more than ever. We all need to be keeping our national, state, and city political officials on point with Obama’s Movement for Change. Remember this is a democracy not a monarch . . . Obama can’t just say “Health care for all” and it happens. People have to put in work and we as citizens and voters must keep our representatives feet to the fire.

On Afgan . . . well it’s real simple. It’s where Bin Laden operated, where 9/11 was planned, and where Bush should have focused all of our military in the first place.

    One Love
    Mister K.I.P.
    (K)nowldege (I)s (P)ower

  70. im just as confused as you are JD with the military in Afghanistan. but i do believe that Obama is doing the best he can with what he was left with. not to put all the blame on Bush but it is what it is, he fucked up a lot and it’s going to take Obama a long time to get things together. i would be lying if i didnt say i don too much agree with him sending troops to Afghanistan, but we’ll see where this goes…

  71. First of all, I’d like to say that most of the war is a scam, I say that because the U.S. Government is paying way more than they should to military contractors.

“The contractor, Aecom Government Services, charged $237 for a vehicle side mirror that was supposed to cost $14.88” Quoted from the Washington Post.

Anybody can look more into these types of contractor scams, and congress/treasury not even investigating it or trying to fix it.

I remember when Obama was running, he promised to get us out of the war, well I guess due to new circumstances and other reasons why he can’t mention to us, we MUST bring more troops. Wait…isn’t that what Bush said? Come on everybody, last 8 years wasn’t Bush’s fault, they’re both just puppets. There are so many elitists in the background telling them what to do and what to say, last President who actually did what he wanted to do was probably JFK and his ass got shot!

Next, if we all look back to why this country became independent, why the constitution was written, we’d know that we shouldn’t even be in wars. The military is meant for self-defense and not for good charity, especially when our own boarders need protection and we owe trillions of dollars to major banks and other nations. America may have a facade that seems like it is all-knowing and powerful but borrowing money to keep that sham afloat is just plain self-destruction. If this country wants to be prosperous and free once again, we must go back to our original roots and follow the constitution, it was written for a reason.

“Those who ignore history are bound to repeat it”

Mr.KIP2001, nothing against you, but you really can’t buy into all of that propaganda that they feed you. If Obama really wanted change, he’d cut useless government programs and invest back into the economy by creating incentives for bringing businesses and manufacturers back into the U.S., NOT create more government programs that, in the end, won’t truly help anyone. (i.e. look at all of the people taking sick advantage of government welfare programs, you don’t think people will do the same with universal healthcare here in the states? there will be so many of them, the people who truly need help won’t even get it). At the end of the day, it’s all about the money…we have none of it, so we shouldn’t keep spending like we do. JD is a business man, I’m sure he’ll agree-financially.

  72. JD Check out NWA back in the day talkin about the middle east. start at location 5:30 of the video.

  73. Analog wi-fi cameras transmit their signal within the lower, radio frequencies of 900MHz, 2.4GHz and 5.8 GHz. Note that most of them operate more than the 2.4 GHz band, the same band that a lot of household wi-fi appliances, such as cordless phones and video game controllers, operate on. Interference may result when using within the house. The benefits of analog wireless safety methods is they’re lower price than their electronic brethren, and you are able to use multiple receivers. The disadvantages are they may cause interference with other devices in the house. The transmission is not secure. the video sign quality is decrease than digital, and any interference makes it worse.
