It does make women stick around longer, even if the relationship is falling to pieces and the couple are growing apart emotionally. I believe that some people do rely on sex to keep a relationship from ending but it only does more hurt and damage to both individuals. Having sex with the same person for a period of time creates physical and emotional ties with that person so it’s hard for our brains to just cut those ties loose all at once. I could go on about the physiological aspect of it but that’s another post. Hope this answers your question 🙂
