There are numerous reasons this wholeness is never achieved and I know alot of it relates to being fed up with one thing or another.   78. well lakeside12, aint nothing deeper going on, its just life. i been hollerin at girls since middle school, and im 26 now. i been through a ocean bucket full of all kinds of relationships, from we just hang and fuck, to i love you forever. so from reflecting on my life, observing others life, and being real with the real, i do personally consider what i say to be the truth. i just dont like relationships, because one day i did what a lot of people dont do, i asked my self why.

    i said to myself, why do i want to be in a relationship, and the answer i got was stupid. stupid shit like, because she looks good, because we have fun, because i have known her for a while, and it really went no further than that. so i locked myself down into many positions off of trivial 3rd grader nonsense, even as an adult. no adult to this day still cant say they have a 3rd grader state of mind when getting into a relationship. i bet not to many people in a relationship can give a good response to why they’re together if asked. you wont get to many responses like, me and her were hiking one day, and she carried me 3 miles to a hospital after i got bitten by a deadly snake, or something of some value like she lived in london, and i in new york, and after years of patience, we finally got together, and we both stayed true to our word the whole time no matter how hard it was. its usually some, i hollered at her, she was fine, i got pressured (guy or girl), i said fuck it, this aint to bad anyways, so now im in a relationship. 1 year later, shits weak.

I don’t believe the Bible mentions that particular situation.

    here is another food for thought. i think relationships nowadays dont last long because there is very little to them besides the superficial. i mean, we all live pretty cake lives in america at least, and because of that, not much unites us. like, put it like this. who do you think would have a closer relationship, carrie and joe who live pretty normal lives, they have their internet, tv, and ac when they get home from work. they dont live in to bad of an area, and even during there worst times they have family and friends to back them. or would katie and joe, who grew up in the slums of romania somewhere, who literally have maybe 1 person to back them up in a worst case scenario, and that person aint no better off then them to help. they dont have internet, tv, ac, or other luxuries. but one day they make it out the “jungle”, make it to america together, start over, and years later even there basic life and two bedroom apt is leagues above where they came from. its pretty obvious right? the two who had a bond in this shittiest of shit, are gonna have the closest bond, and really thats without even getting out their situation. you know why, because they have to. its almost a survival instinct for them. where as though the average american, (since this is where i live ill speak on this country specifically) does not have many threats around him, and any given day has that, whatever, i can go to the club tomorrow and get something new attitude.

    not to say humans in general dont seem to have a problem, but american society is even rougher on relationships because the suckiest of suck is a cake walk here. we literally have to create situations to make bonds for the most part here, where as though if your born in raised in a poor part of south east asia somewhere, you walk out your house looking for a bond just so you dont kill yourself because life sucks so bad. but maybe thats a little bit to much conjecture. i dont know. overall i do feel that since american society for the most part seems to lack the environmental conditions to create greater bonds in any type of relationship, they are most likely going to fail at some point, whether it be friends, family, gf, or bf. how many relationships have failed in the past decade, then have continued? have you asked yourself that lately? ever wonder why?

You won’t be satisfied with entertaining multiple women romantically and you will want to focus on only one (single or married). In other words, know what it is you want/desire and what will satisfy your needs first. Then do your research on the products on the market. Look beyond the shiny case and flashing lights. If you can’t make a match at that moment then maybe it’s meant for you to wait a little longer for the one that suits your needs. Shop around. You don’t have to only look locally, but I’d say avoid places like eBay, you know the place where they auction goods off to the highest bidder (club) b/c you might get it home and it’s not anywhere near what was described and you’ll just have to return it. Anyway, once you’ve found what your looking for and know you’ve made the right choice (or if you knew the moment you saw “the one”) make the best of what you have. If you look at from the perspective that another one better will come along you’ll try to buy every new model that comes out, waste a lot of money, time, and productivity. Don’t fall for the hype though…it’s really all marketing to make you thank they are really giving you something better. Focus on the one that was right for you, the one you took the time to understand and got working perfectly the way you wanted it. It might be all you really needed for a very long time (ok maybe with a few minor upgrades here and there) and be as good as the new ones your continuously drooling over.

    Now, not saying that a computer can’t just completely stop working for you. You might take it in for a repair just to find out that it needs the be replaced totally. Most do come with a 1 guarantee b/c generally if it can last past that it should be good, but since you never know nowadays… go ahead and get that extended warranty offered and if it does so happen to die, throw it out and go find a better one that will last.

  98. Hell yes! I am married and I was out there before that. I was in the business and I was having sex with anything that wasn’t fat and ugly. My numbers were high. I am ashamed of that now, but it is what it is. I think that we forget to have appreciation. It aint all they fault. My wife is a freak and she gave me 2 kids so far and 1 on the way. She has her freaking moments and then sometimes nothing. After a hard day taking care of me and the kids. Cooking, cleaning, bills etc etc, she is tired. My wife also has multiple sclerosis and for some people with it, that takes away some or all of their sex drive, but she still brings it. She is a beautiful woman. People still say how did I pull her lol. But I love her. She chaged me without tellling me to change and she helped me when no one would. I didn’t marry her because she was a freak and some of you are fools if that is why you would marry a woman. I can be free with my wife in the bed and outside and that does add to the relationship. But I am with her and i chose her over the girl I was with for 6 years because the girl I was with was a super freak and was down for whatever, but she was missing the lady part. I cheated on her every chance I got and she only got mad occassionally. But my wife gave me innocence and sincerity AND a freak. Plus she is so damn smart (I.Q near the genius level). This is my one and this is the one I made a promise under God to. I am not about to break that promise. That would just make me stupid.

I allow him to be the man because god didn’t design for us woman to take on that stress. But here’s where some of us women lose good men. When he lost his job, I held him down by holding us down, we made sure we still went to church & held on to each other becuz that’s all we have is us.He held me down before he lost it, so it was my turn to pick up the slack. Now that he has a great job I want for nothing.& I got a good ass job myself People expect things they aren’t willing to give.     Let me tell you facts here. My great grandma told me everything that I need to know about sex. My parents didn’t teach me about sex, they just gave me a condom and expect that I use it. Ok back to the facts. My great grandma been through it all, from the great depression, to world war 3, and ect. She said that when she was growing up, sex was illegal in the U.S.A. She told me what happen to her daughter when she got pregnant unsepectively from her boyfriend. When she gave birth, the guy who isn’t married to her daughter was put into prison because he doesn’t have a marriage licence. Back than it was illegal to have children when you don’t have a marriage licence. That’s how baby boomers came about in the 1940’s. People started protesting for sex rights, because people weren’t allowed to have sex if you don’t have a marriage licence. Back than there wasn’t such thing as condoms, so a lot of people back than were getting pregnant like crazy, like youngsters are, and all the young man were put into prison. So when the new president came along, I forgot the president’s name. But anyways, around the 60’s that’s when sex was un illegal all because of the people who stand by it. But the ones that didn’t agree with it are the religious people. That’s when religious people started to protest. Back in 1970’s, people were having unprotected sex with strangers, that’s how AIDS came about around that time. A lot of homosexuals were dieing from the disease. It was a divasted moment during the time because about 1 million something people died from AIDS back than. Than around 1980’s, condoms came out, and it was a success. My grandma was a single parent. Her boyfriend at the time died from HIV!!!!!!!! Yes HIV, thank god she doesn’t have HIV, but yeah her boyfriend was a pimp, and if you mess with the wrong nigga like my grandma did, than you will end up like her too; and that is becoming a single mother. My grandma’s sister was a single parent once her boyfriend got out of jail 20 something years later and end up in jail again for persection of crack coine.
