TALK TO ME!!!!!!!!!

TODAY’S TOPIC IS ONE THAT ALWAYS SEEMS TO MAKE FOR A LONG CONVERSATION. STRIPPERS!!! THE MOST WANTED TO BE AND BE WITH BUT AT THE SAME TIME THE MOST HATED. I’VE NEVER UNDERSTOOD THE HATING PART BECAUSE FIRST ITS A OCCUPATION BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE. A DIFFERENT TYPE OF JOB BUT A JOB THAT PAYS BETTER THAN MOST 9 TO 5s. I’M ALWAYS HEARING OTHER WOMEN SAY ITS DEGRADING AND ALL THIS BUT SOON AS YOU TURN THE MUSIC ON THEM SAME GIRLS ARE DOING WHAT WOULD BE SEEN IN THE CLUB LOL. FOR EXAMPLE I HEARD SOMETHING WHERE SOMEBODY WAS TALKING ABOUT NE NE OFF THE ATL HOUSE WIFE’S DOGGING HER OUT CAUSE SHE USE TO DANCE AND I’M LIKE SO WHAT !!!!

THEN ON THE GUYS SIDE, NIGGAS GO AND SPEND ALL THERE MONEY IN THE CLUB BUT THEN TURN AROUND AND SAY THEY WOULD NEVER MAKE A STRIPPER THEY GIRL OR WIFE HUMM

SEEING HOW I HAVE MORE FEMALE LIFERS THE FIRST QUESTION IS FOR YALL? WHY ARE STRIPPERS LOOKED AT AS BAD PEOPLE, EVEN THE ONES THAT DON’T DO IT NO MORE?
THE NEXT 3 QUESTIONS ARE FOR MY FELLAS? WOULD YOU DATE A EX STRIPPER? IF NOT WHY ? IF YOU MET 1 IN THE CLUB THAT YOU LIKED WOULD YOU DATE HER AND TAKE HER OUT THE CLUB?

TALK TO ME!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. “BABY BATTER” REPORTING IN! UMM WELL STRIPPERS ARE LOOKED BAD UPON BECAUSE PEOPLE THINK ITS BETTER TO USE UR BRAIN AND INTELLIGENCE TO GET MONEY INSTEAD OF UR BODY. EVEN THOUGH SEDUCING A MAN DOES TAKE BRAIN POWER. LOL ME PERSONALLY I DONT CARE. IF UR A WOMAN WHO IS SMART AND MAKES MONEY TO BETTER YOUR LIFESTYLE THEN GO FOR IT! I HAVE THREE COUSINS WHO STRIP AND THEY HANDLE THEIR BUSINESS. THEY DONT GET WRAPPED UP IN PROSTITUTION OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT. THEY SAVE THEIR MONEY TO PURCHASE HOUSES AND OTHER THINGS. ITS THE STRIPPERS WHO GET ON DRUGS AND PROSTITUTE WHO GIVE STRIPPERS A BAD NAME. I SAY GET UR GRIND ON LADIES!

  5. I don’t know why women hate on strippers I have gone to the club plenty of times with my guy friends and had a ball. I love watching men spend money on ass they cant have. The last 2 experiences I had were funny. The first one, one dude grabbed my arm as I was on the way to the bathroom and asked what time I was going on. I was like umm I don’t work here. He was like YOU SHOULD. I laughed and kept walking. The 2nd time, I was in the bathroom (again) and this chick started talking to me like I was her friend. Telling me her feet hurt and this was her second night working. I was like well girl gets some insoles and keep it moving. Strippers are regular folks just like you and me, they just get naked for a paycheck.

  6. i would date a ex stripper if she got a cool personality and has respect for herself evne tho stripping isnt having respect for yourself as long as she turned her life around from that then yea we can talk but alot of niggas is disrespectful and they might have seen her stripping before and we could be in the mall shopping or something and a nigga might come up and be like “ay aint you cinnamon from the players club can i get a dance” or” let me see something” then i would chop they fuckin head off with a mashete but if i met one in the club and she was nice sweet person and came at me the right way then yea 4sho we can hit it off but i wouldnt want to be with a stripper becuz i dont want no group of niggas lookin at my girl naked and shit the only person she better be strippin for is me and she shouldnt have to be out there getting naked for money shit i be on my shit so i can take of her she dont need to that

  7. Honestly, i dont look at strippers as bad people. They’re making money. More than most other people at that… I dont see it as a profession, but its still a job… I think the women who do look at them in the negative way see it from a different point of view. If you have a man who stays in the strip club then of course you would be a little upset. You see yourself as a good, faithful woman but your man is always in the club spendin his (and maybe your) money on these other women. So you look at it as, what is it that these women have, and/or do, that i dont.
Personally, I love strippers… && I love going to strip clubs. Especially the ones in the A. But i’ve never been a stripper or gave a dance in my life. Not to say that I wouldnt, just stating a fact. Anyway, I look at strippers as nothing more than beautiful women using their ASSets to implement their hustle. And I support any woman who is on her grind.

  8. Strippers are the last thing on my mind. If they’re doing something they want to do, then who are we to judge. I’d rather my man spend money on a stripper than a prostitute and bring some disease home to share. As for the hate…who really knows. I think most of the hate’n females are just repeating what mommie and grandmommie are saying instead of getting the real deal for themselves and going from there. This country is all about double standards…if they strip to pay for school or add to their child support its wrong and if they sit on their asses and collect welfare for the same child a man won’t help pay for they’re seen as lazy. LOL smh American needs some help!!! LOL

  9. Man I dated an Ex stripper and Frank Ski took her from me!!!! Real talk…… LOL

I think it all comes down to people judging each other. I have taken many strippers to work when I was in college because during my freshman year I was the only one with the car, some of them same girls are doctors and lawyers right now. I just hate the women that get in that game without having a plan. You are not going to be able to do it forever. I hate going to a strip club and seeing old ass women in there looking like they got grandchildren. Who am I to judge them, I am not perfect myself. I think women judge each other harder then the guys.

Now I have always had a problem with going to strip clubs spending lots of money and that is because I am an accountant and am always doing a mental cost/benefit analysis. So most of the time I don’t go but every now and then Fucky and X Rated will get me out. But being in Atlanta, its part of the culture down here!!!

  10. I in womanly….It takes a lot of courage to be a stripper. The kind of courage that most women do not have. Most, quiet as keep, want to be that courageous. They are to afraid of society judging them, instead tapping into the natural power that women have over men…Pussy. So, what it boils down to is jealously.

  11. One more point; most of the guys going to strip clubs are not even there for the girls THEY ARE THERE TO IMPRESS OTHER GUYS!!!!! Showing how much money they can throw again!! That’s another topic altogether!!!

  12. I can honestly say that I have no problems with strippers. I have female friends who used to be prostitutes!!! So to me, stripping is a few steps down. Eveybody has a story, and everyone has their reasons for doing what they do. To answer the questions: (1 & 2)I would date an ex-stripper. There is no stigma there for me. I can see past everything that she USED to do. Every woman has her past, especially in 2009. Damn near NOBODY is squeaky clean anymore. Skeletons, my brotha’, skeletons! (3) I can’t say that I would date a stripper that’s actively stripping. I honestly don’t go to ths strip club. I’ve been 3 times, and enjoyed each time. I just don’t personaly find the strip club appealing. I’d much rather call a chick over, and get a private lap dance. Yadig?!!?? I’m not makin’ shit rain, so MY dollers might purchase the bottle that’s gonne lead up to the dance and whatever comes after. Church!

  13. I don’t really “hate on” strippers, maybe because I knew some1 that used to be & understand that it’s just a quicker means to an end for most of them. They do what they gotta do & more power to them for it.
BUT, knowing what I know…I know that there is more that goes down when it comes to strippers besides just dancing at the club and stripping and I think that that is where the hating comes in for most people. For a bigger fee there are strippers that will turn into hookers/ call girls real fast, again it is understood that it wouldn’t be possible if men didn’t pay for it but where do we draw the line on what’s acceptable for the “job”????

& WHY CAN”T THE 2nd part be for the ladies too??????Shit, theres male strippers and not all of them are gay! Well I’m gonna answer it anyway!
Male strippers get freaky as hell sometimes & I’ve had a run in/2 so I know, they know how to get down in the bed. I don’t see anything wrong with dating 1 that was an EX-stripper as long as I make sure he has a clean bill of health 1st.I will not knowingly fuck with some disease infected m’fer (stripper or not). If they were still stripping, HELL NO once again, because of the things I know… & I know that they apply to any gender of stripper.

  14. I would date a stripper fast.. I would definitely smack.. But I’m just not sure about wifing her up..

  15. I wud take her out of the club nd i wud DATE a ex stripper kusz if she left its because it was in the past right??? and like ppl leave things behind to start new so y not be apart of sunttin new…and like going to a club nd asking a stripper out thats type sketchy i wudnt do that kusz u dnt always wanna worry abt ya shorty strippin nd shyt u kno

  16. JD, most defintely i would wife a stripper/ ex stripper. Its about where her head is…no pun intended. People gon hate regardless.

  17. lol @ the cost/benefit analysis….thought I was the only person who did that. Well I don’t do it too much anymore just find ways to spend other peoples money. lol

  18. I personally dont think strippers are bad people, BUT the sterotypes put on strippers over the years is what people fall vicitim to. The sterotype being that strippers are prostitutes, drug addicts and just plain messed up and dirty. The business of sex and pleasure makes some feel uncomfortable and that makes them just jump into judging and labeling the strippers unfairly.
It is just the nieve people who are not open minded and too quick to judge.
As Janet would say….”It’s just sex”!

  19. Ok and let me just say male strippers are NASTY! They put their EVERYTHING in your face, eye, ear and everywhere else it aint supposed to go. And then go to the next chick and do it to them. Passin cooties all around the club. NO and THANK YOU.

  20. I personally have no problems w/ strippers. How you make ur $$ is your buisness. Only God can judge us!

  21. As a woman.,I have no problem with strippers.,hell they gotta eat too!!! Ive been to the strip club w/ my guy friends and even my man and enjoyed myself and learned a few things to keep the party going at home!!!!! LOL:):)

Personally.,I think women are to hard on each other and to judgemental.,You find very few women that are supportive of each other in whatever they do. I have been blessed to have a handful of female friends and we are very supportive of each other and we all come from different walks of life.

If stripping is not for YOU then don’t do it.,but if the next woman wants to do it don’t pass judgement because its something that you wouldnt do.,let her do her and you con’t to do you.

  22. I think the reason why women hate on strippers is becasue there man rather be in the strip club instead of home. Which you can’t blame the strippers, they’re just doing there job. So, if ladies just stepped there game up at home, then their man would be home with them. Also because movies made strippers look bad so what we see in the movies is what we think strippers are actually. I will admit that I thought the same way until I actually went to a strip club and met a couple of strippers. They are doing something they’re good at and that will support their family. WE CAN’T BE MAD AT THAT..

  23. In my opinion I feel like if they got what it takes to get paid then good for em, get that money! But then there’s some that take advantage of that and do a little extra on the side for more money which is just nasty. Nobody can judge because we all have done something that others don’t agree with and have done it for free.

  24. @MONI WHATS YOUR ZODIAC SIGN

Personally I think as a woman I wouldn’t want to strip why would you explore your body for every one to see thats just not classy. IMO

Yeah your right JD its a occupation but honestly there other jobs in the field people don’t have to do this.
I have nothing against strippers but come on.

Now I don’t mind stripping for my man thats a different story lol.

  25. Why hate on a women who shows off what god gave her? especially if she does it in a professional manner im all for it!! GET THAT PAPER LADIES!!

  26. I was just talking bout this the other day…i hear ATL is the place to be 4 the best strip clubs? A group of us were talking of checking them out. I am totally heterosexual, but I’m open minded and it’s all in good fun. And as JD would say…he goes to see what music they spinnin! LOL.

  27. cos it dosnt really take skill it ain’t hard work they may think it is but they strippers so they wouldn’t know! it’s kinda like dirty money you earn your money by taking your clothes off in front of strangers i knew a girl who wasn’t a stripper but a pole dancer and she hated it and it really f’ukd up her relationships cos she felt diffrent about guys she saw sooo many guys went there and she found it disgusting that they spent there wages on that especially when they had wifes/girlfriends she had really low self esteem and cried all the time about how her life has turned out
she quit went to collefe and now works as a social worker and she loves it and is a much happier person and says the pay might be less but she gets more satisfaction from her money soo yea but if u really enjoy stripping why not but i don’t think many girls do even if they say they do

  28. Personally I dont go to the strip club PERIOD… Yes I have been and I even done some crazy shit in one (Sights Newark) but I have been to a strip club more than 3times without tipping a single dollar… just no 4 me… that being said… Yes I could pull a T-Pain and fall in love with a stripper, you cant look at people differently because of decisions they made just accept them and move on… sounds cliche but yes its that simple… I cant date one who is still strippin but I have been cool with strippers and honestly they are some of the most motivated, and psychologically together ppl i know… they have an aim: GET MONEY!!! and they do it well so yea I can fuk with a girl with that mentality… and the fact that she can work a pole dont hurt either #BIEM

  29. Hmmm let’s see…well I bartened @ a strip club for almost 2yrs,while I was in school, and I hated it, cuz majority of those chicks were lesbians….and they was always hitting on me LOL(literally walking pass smacking my little booty) very annoying! Butshit thts not an easy gig, they work hard for tht money and put up with a lot of bullshit from thirsty ass men. Its a job so you really can’t hate…I feellike women tht do try n judge are scared a stripper is gonna take her man, with all tht freak shit she does……lmaooo. At the end of the day we all have stripped and danced and slid down the pole for the one we love! Hell I took a pole class!!! Hahahaha

  30. Sure I will date a stripper that aint big deal for me but I don’t know if I can take her out ii the same club we met U have to trust her first because u don’t know if this woman usually to this to all men she only have a crush or she did this because she trullly have feelings for U
I know this corny but that my point of view

  31. @Kandi i’m with u girl, men strippers don’t cut it. They don’t dance or get crazy like women strippers do!I got my man at home doing things just fine…and not puttin things in my ear that aren’t supposted to be there! lol Girl u funny!

  32. Personally I would give an x-stripper a chance because you never know why the girl is stripping! Hey were in a recession so getting money is all good as long as it’s legal. You just have to get to know the girl first.but you would probly have to talk to her way from the club bcuz inside the club they’re usually in get money mode.

  33. This is a tricky one cause..some people would view stripping as a form of prostitution. Anyone using their bodies for money…well that technically makes you a prostitute. However, on the other end, like someone else was saying most strippers is trying to pay off college tuition, pay rent and take care of there kids. I think woman look down on the ones who are using it in a prostitution way. Cause you do hear of those who go the extra mile after their show. Like going on to have sex for extra money. So basically I guess I don’t care. If that’s what they want to do. I wouldn’t though.

  34. I couldn’t date a stripper just becasue all of all the guys that she may have did a little favor for for a little extra money. Not knocking they hustle at all. I know some guys that have tried to date strippers and it didn’t work out. But I’m sure there are some success stories but none that I know of. And girls will hate then when “Back that azz up” come on in the club they doing they same exact thang its just no pole around.

  35. For the most part I believe alot of women hate on strippers because they aren’t able to move the way the stripper does and also they don’t look as good. Think about it those same women who are hating on strippers have no comment when it come to pornography. As for the question U possed to the fellas, the question can be answered by a women because there’s also male strippers. In reponse to those 3 questions I would say yes because I was in a 2 1/2 year relationship with a ex stripper. Initially I didn’t know that part of his past, but as the relationship progressed he made me aware of that faucet of his introduction to entertainment. For the third part of this question, I would say maybe because I went to the Chit Chat one Sunday about 5 years ago and I assumed they would be playing dance music. But, instead these male strippers came out and one of them was posted he walked right up to me and put his dick on my shoulder, I looked him straight in his eyes and told him ” U might as well go some where else cause I ain’t given U no money”. Then I left. That was the first and only time i’ve seen a stripper perform on stage. Yet, we are all human and a persons job title is not there only attribute.

  36. I personally wouldn’t date a current stripper because I know what they do behind closed doors to make that money n I’m stingy so I wouldn’t want a bunch of niggas seeing my girl naked every nite. Now if she is an ex stripper that’s old doesn’t matter anymore and I think females who hate on stripper jus be mad cause they either scared to do it or don’t have the body to. I mean it can’t be wrong to use what u got to make money because ppl use their brains so why can’t you use your body

  37. Hi Mr. Dupri,

I don’t know you personally, so I will address you properly. A few people have touched on question #1 with good responses. I believe it dates back to slavey, when blacks were bought, sold and sexually degrated on the auction block, I.e. Stripper pole or what have you. Its a state-of-mind that has been passed down through the generations for blacks be it a double standard for men or women. When we bring that same mind frame to the present day especially now that we have a choice of whether or not to be exploited it is frowned upon by today’s society. However, with the many different political and social influences throughout time, some of us have become more liberal-minded and go by the philosophy “By any means neccessary”. There’s some knowledge for your a$$e$!

  38. AS a woman i gat no problem with strippers because they gat their own reasons for doing it and in most cases its not for fan they gat to put food on their childredn,s tables or what ever reasons but i wouldn,t hate on a stripper but will remaind her or refer 2 her if she is hitting on ma man, they gat this thing of hitting on other pple,s men .i think its simplly coz men are dogs and these strippers are hot bitches that men can,t resist.

if i were a man would i date am EX – STRIPPER? ,yes i would ,people change and every body deserves a second chance ,so what if she was a stripper, was & not any more .if i like her and belive she is a changed person who had very good reasons for doing what she did .why not ,THEY are good when it cames to the nite world EX STRIPPER CAN TAKE DICK so why not

IF YOU MET 1 IN THE CLUB THAT YOU LIKED WOULD YOU DATE HER AND TAKE HER OUT THE CLUB” hell no ,never why would i want to get maself in a trap ,first of all ITS VERY UNFEAR AND MEAN TO TRY to CHANGE SOMEONE.and by the way you can take a NGGER out of the HOOD but u can never the HOOD out of the NIGGER “don,t waste your time “

  39. I DONT WANT ANY OF THE WOMEN IN MY FAMILY TO DO IT. And I doubt any of you in here saying it’s ok would want anyone on your family doing it either. If a woman gets up there and shakes her ass for money, that’s fine for her. If she feels that’s what she needs to do to get where she needs to be. I will judge her in saying that I think she is devaluing herself, because I believe any woman with a good heart is worth more than some titties and ass. I’d say she has bad judgement. I look at the chicks who snatch it out for nothing more harshly. That said, I don’t look down on them though. Some professional women are looser than strippers.

I know you asked the men but I’ll comment on making a stripper your wife. If I was a dude, I don’t think I could get past the potential mother of my children being a stripper, past or present. Can’t have my daughter talking about “But mommy did it” no sir!

  40. Please stop saying women who don’t agree with stripping are mad because we can do it. Men look at any fucking thing and makeup does wonders!

  41. ~Msbadyella reporting in~
This is an interesting topic that I just had with my crew the other nite including males and females. I think that society has had alot to do with people frowning upon strippers. Hey if thats how you get your money, by all means boo boo get it. I mean its a line of work. Just different hours. You never know a persons story. Where they been? Where they come from and where they are trying to go? Some pay for college that way, others thats just what they do. You cant make it a career, but you definitely make connections to say the least. I have had friends that were strippers and they were and are making a killing. Thats just not my thang though. Its another form of entertainment. We women can be catty and thats were the jealously part tends to come in. Always gotta have something negative about teh next women. Hell it doesnt bother me. Do ya thang!!! Ive been with my male friends before and its pure comedy too. I’ve learned a couple of tricks or 2 in that place. People have to realize that we all have or flaws and who are you to judge and be worried about someone else.
    Signing out…1

  42. uhmm idk why people hate on strippers they are making more money than half of the haters…lol
but jd, would you date an ex stripper?

  43. STONEY OCEAN- JUS WANNA SAY THIS TOPIC IS #BIEM !!!!!!

  44. I DONT RELLY KNOW WHY PEOPLE HATE ON STRIPPERS THE WAY I LOOK AT IT IS IF YOU WANT TO SHAKE YO ASS AND GIVE OUT LAP DANCES TO EVERYBODY YOU MIGHT AS WELL GET SOME MONEY FOR IT’ LOL I WOULDNT DO IT I HAVE MORE RESPECT FOR MYSELF BUT I CAN’T KNOCK THE FEMALES THAT DO IT . I THINK THEY ARE LOOKED AT AS BAD PEOPLE BECAUSE MOST PEOPLE BELIEVE THAT THERE ARE MORE POSITIVE THINGS TO DO TO MAKE MONEY YOU MIGHT NOT MAKE AS MUCH BUT AT LEAST YOU WILL HAVE YOUR PRIDE AT THE END OF THE DAY.

  45. O YEA BIEM!!!

  46. First I dont think anyone should knock someone elses grind… We are all in the fight together meaning life. Second I would not make a stripper my wife because the things that they show should be shown to me and no one else. And third I want to promote my brothers music to the lifers, we are on the grind and I would like for you guys to go to http://www.myspace.com/mokanemusic or click on my name and listen to the track Hustle Man. Right now all of us are on the Hustle no matter what you do. So to the strippers out there do your thang, and keep doing it because everyone has someone special for them to meet. Add us on myspace by the way. Let’s go people!

  47. I was just reading a story somewhere I don’t remember but it was recent about a young lady who was a stripper and paid her way through school and graduated now she’s a professional lady doesn’t strip anymore or whatever…anyway my views on the situation is this…I am not in a position to judge anyone for living a life they choose to live..we all know ONLY GOD CAN JUDGE!!! Nobody is perfect you live and you learn.. you never know a person’s situation that would make them have to resort to stripping and making money to do whatever they need to do with it…now what’s degrading to me is when a nigga feel like they can disrespect a female just because she is a stripper for example the little situation when JD was djing at the club and the football player nigga hit the young lady in the face for picking the money up before the dance was over..now it was said that he hit oh girl i wasnt there to know what the fuck happened but if that did happen that shit was disrespectful then a muthafucka..HOLD UP WHY DON’T NOBODY TALK ABOUT THE NIGGAZ WHO BE STRIPPING? WHY THEY DON’T GET CALLED HOES? WHY THEY DON’T GET TALKED BAD UPON? I THINK FOR THE NIGGAZ WHO STRIP IT’S AN OCCUPATION FOR THEM BUT FOR FEMALES EVERYBODY LOOK AT THEM LIKE UGH THAT BITCH SHOULD BE ASHAMED BUT TO EACH IT’S OWN ALL MY LADIES WHO BE STRIPPING KEEP DOING YO SHIT AND I’LL KEEP SUPPORTING YALL WHEN I COME UP IN THE STRIP CLUB…CAUSE I DO TIP WELL 😉

  48. Damn JD….I would date a stripper only if I could go out with her in an area where every Nig in the hood doesn’t know her. I can’t be out with a stripper and have Nigs coming up to me saying…”Damn Dude, you with her? She strips!” all the time!

  49. Loyal Bubbles weighin in on this one. I personally don’t think strippers are bad I think its just certain ones that did something and gave off the impersion that all strippers are that way. Most stripeers doing it so they can be able to provide for they family or to come out of a worse situation, some use the money for good deed like getting they life together or paying for college tuition. It’s they business what they want to do long as they are happy with they selves then who are we to say anything about it. The same would go for male strippers or exotic dancers…It’s they life our entertainment.

    follow me twitter.ccom/readyyuuup

  50. @minnie No I wouldn’t want any females in my family being a stripper, but if they’re of legal age I’m not going to stop them…as long as their not my child living in my house. LOL But ouside of that, that’s their choice not mine to make or change. Everyone makes decisions in life that family and friends don’t like but it shouldn’t kill a relationship either.

  51. Oh my. I absolutely had to chime in on this one. Being an ex-dancer myself, i caught alot of grief from friends and potential boyfriends once they found out, and although it’s been 8years since I last danced, I still have people bringing it up once they find out. I grew up in a very pretentious(sp) family and school setting, so this type of behavior is very frowned upon I lost alot of friendships, and guys felt they couldn’t trust me or I was promiscous. When in reality the very opposite was true, I am the most loyal, and have slept with very few men in my entire life, but yet nothing I could do or say would convince them of that. dancing in the club was nothing but a job for me, once I left work I left all of that behind. I used the club and didnt allow it to use me. The stigma on strippers is probably because there are some who are “bad”, I watched many come in “good girls” but leave totally different people. But i also know so many who actually dance there way through school, are respectable mothers, and do it as a second job. The money is stupid good. I made $500-1000 a night doing nothing but showing my body, working weekends only. I went to school during the weekday, it was the perfect situaiton. I was supporting myself at the age of 20, with a car, an apartment, and I paid for my tuition. Now I Have my post-Masters degree in a very resptectable profession making six figures with colleagues who are Doctors, and lawyers and I mingle among them without them having an idea of my past profession. Yes, I caught alot of flack, but looking back I would not change a thing. It played a big part in making me who I am today, and I have no regrets! (f.y.i I still get in the mirror when I’m alone and shake a lil somethin, once a stripper always a stripper.) hehe…smooches:-)

  52. I don’t hate on strippers cuz that’s how they eat. I respect anybody hustle but alot of people feel like they degrading theirselves.

  53. This argument goes as far back as the Old Testament. No man wanted a woman who wasn’t a virgin. So a woman who already “knew” a man before marriage was less desirable. In some cultures this is still true. Some still stone women for adultery but slap the hand of men. Strippers then and now fall into this category because they cater to the lust of men. Lust is 1 of the 7 deadly sins. Religion plays a huge role in how we see things.

As a woman, we see strippers doing what we’re AFRAID to do privately, wouldn’t even think to publicly and pass judgement mostly because men give more attention to them than us. And because stripping is tied to prostitution there’s another reason we pass judgement. We (men and women) don’t see a stripper and think it’s a whole person with feelings nor any real intelligence sliding down that pole. So again we feel we can look down our noses at them. Ironically, strippers take off ALL their clothes for hundreds or even thousands of dollars a night, yet some of us will let a dude feel us up for a mere meal at decent restaurant costing less than $50.

We want to be seen for more than just our tits and ass. But sadly, tits and ass are too often the easiest way to get a man’s attention. So that’s why so many women are “face down ass up in the club” just for male attention. And notice too more often than not the “face down ass up chicks” aren’t generally the “finest” or “pretty girl” most guys are sweating over anyway. It’s generally the chick (s) starving for attention acting that way.

Lastly, Historically women black & white have fought to be deemed more than just property, a tool, or merely a hole to rest in. So for many women strippers take us back to that same place in society we’ve tried to so hard to escape. Truly, this convo goes deeper than you may think. Not every stripper is dancing for college tuition or to make ends meet, some of them strip cause they believe what they’ve been told negatively about themselves and their bodies.

  54. well lets see i think most females hate strippers because they cannot do what a stripper does it takes alot of skill and patience to deal with horny men on a daily basis and sum of them r disrespectful. also most women are not strippers because they want to be they are strippers because they have to be…i am a firm believer that u cannot knock the next persons hustle…most of these women need to get in where they fit in and find their own huslte and be great at it… but that probaly will never happen cause they are worried about what the next chick is doin…

  56. I believe most women have the perception that being a stripper equates to being a drug abuser, alcoholic or a prostitute. I don’t find anything wrong with the profession as long as you don’t feel like your losing your dignity in performing. Strippers are confident in their body & love the attention so I say more power to them. Their profession doesn’t make them less of a lady & I personally enjoy the entertainment.

  57. Well personally i dont think strippers are bad people they chose to make there money that way and like u said it does pay more than some 9 to 5 and im a woman but i think they are looked at like that bcuz they take off there close infront of stangers but the women who say that probly never had to do something like that before but untill they need a reason to do something like that they wont but strippers they break it down in there minds if u take the random men away and replace it with ur boyfriend then take the club away and replace it with ur own house when u do that every women becomes a stripper no women can say they never danced and stripped at the same time for their boyfriend not once also thats why some strippers close there eyes some dont want to do it but they have to to support there family and them. so this is the instance when dont knock it till u try it comes in play

  58. beim…its like this people in america have been trained to be dumb, they dont have this problem in europe…shit its respected in those europen countries! I seen where this chick from austria got the playboy centerfold and her whole da family came over to support her and wish her well. America is the least advanced society on the face of the earth. Keep in mind that none of these strip clubs or escort services are having money problems…the porn industry is keeping its numbers strong as well…. that being said america grow da fuck up!!!!!!!!!
i have met plenty of strippers that i liked…most strippers do have a state of mind where they just want money…others are naturally whores, so finding a stripper thats worth being with is very rare! If i found a stripper or ex stripper that wasnt all about money and didnt have to many miles on her pussy i would treat her like she wanted to be treated…all in all im just a playa anyway and im only gonna go so far wit a chick weather she a stripper or paris hilton’s momma…. chemistry is one thing and lust is another… beim
In closing, strippers are a part of the fabric that holds our society togather… the adult industry is a part of the fuel the feeds the engine of this so called great nation! perhaps things would be better if america just admited to itself that we like naked girls… stippers…are people to…BEIM

  59. FIRST, I WOULD NEVER KNOCK ANYONE’S HUSTLE BUT I COULD NEVER DATE OR WIFE A STRIPPER….MAYBE LOL

  60. Well I’ve worked in strip joints b4 as a bartender, makeup artist n front door girl. N seen some shit! If u never walked a day in there shoes don’t judge. They makin $ payin bills, takin care of their kids the same shit we do!! It takes balls to get up there n do what they do. A lot of these girls drink n do drugs jus to het through the nite dealin wit the nasty ass customers but also the nasty owners!! I guess we were brought up to look down on any female in the sex industry. Strippers, street walkers, etc but now in this day and age its cool almost glorified! Again it doesn’t bother me n I have a lot of friends that do it.

  61. OK I AM FROM MIAMI AND STRIPPERS ARE LIKE GODDESSES DOWN HERE. I, MYSELF HAVE NEVER DANCED BUT I HAVE FRIENDS THAT HAVE AND I PERSONALLY DONT SEE ANYTHING WRONG WITH IT. I MEAN I HAVE BEEN TO SOME OF THESE CLUBS AND I WAS AMAZED AT THE SKILL LEVEL OF THESE FEMALES, AND MOST WOMEN PROLLY ARE THREATEN BY A STRIPPER BECAUSE THEY HAVE SKILLS THAT ALOT OF WOMEN JUST DONT POSSES. THAT ALONE IS A REASON TO HATE, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU ARE NOT COMFORTABLE WITH YOURSELF. ALSO THEY ALOT OF MONEY IN SHORT PERIODS OF TIME AND THEY ACTUALLY GROW A FAN BASE…AT LEAST THE ONE IN MIAMI DO…

SO BIEMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM! ON YOU STRIPPER HATE’N BITCHES….LOL.TWITTER.COM/KJIZ

  62. hey man,

i recently heard rivers of WEEZER talking about a song you guys did that’s on their new record. it’s called LET IT ALL HANG OUT. i’ve heard CANT STOP PARTYING, but curious what LET IT ALL HANG OUT is like. really into you guys collabs.

    thanks.

  63. I personally don’t have a problem with strippers. I even considered stripping myself but couldn’t bring myself 2 do it. I was so scared if I did that someone would find out. What I was doing it or my family would be ashamed of me. I just know people always talk shit about strippers like they are a piece of shit. I never understood why? It takes a lot of guts 2 do something like that and it not easy to do either. It’s hard enough walkin in them clear high ass heels, but dance they them in them shits like it ain’t hard 2 do and it is. I think people are way 2 judge mental when it it comes 2 other peoples lives and how the live it. Nobody gives male strippers that much grief and they’re doing the same shit! Men just don’t give lap dances LOL! I know they’re some sleazy strippers out there that Prostitute and other shit that they should do. That’s the kind of shit that gives it a bad name. I still believe that 2 each his own and we shouldn’t judge other peoples lives and how they make their money. Unless you’ve walked a mile in there shoes if not Mind your Bizness!

  64. I personally don’t see what the prob is with that! I am a dancer, professionally trained and HAVE thought about it. It takes a very intellectual woman to strip, as well a bish that has a bangin body, err body aint able! I say to all the dancers do U, and dont trip wit the haters. The prob comes in when a bad bish gets tested, and peeps want to see how far u gonna go for the cheese. Then it becomes a personal choice, how far are your morals gonna let u go Really?! It then, becomes a everyday moral check!!! Personally, I dont think I want to be tested in that way, and would hustle and make my cheese in a way that is not compromising me the daily ya dig!? Some woman are soldiers and can make there money in that environment w/out compromising, but hey everyone can’t be a bad bish and a soldier at the same time. If you do find a chick that is just that bad bish, and you feelin her, whose to say that you can’t wife that bish!!!!

  65. I think that women are looked down upon for stripping because there so many other things that you can’t do for a living beside taking off their clothes. Also I think that alot of people believe that women should carry themselves in a certain matter and taking your clothes off for money is not one them. I’m not a hater by any means. I say if your going to be a stripper then be the best damn stripper in the club.

    Lifer!!

  66. CAN SOMEONE TELL ME HOW TO GET MY PIC IN THE PIC BOX. I’M ON THAT YELLOW BUS TODAY…LOL

  67. Okay I got major expierence on this one! Being that my 2nd babymomma is a 12 yr stripper straight vet! (i have three) and i will tell you this they make the worst girlfriends wives because of the way they see men! Replaceable tricks! These bitches feel like they can meet a husband or boyfriend at the pull of their bikini top! So she never cherishes or apprieciates her partner! Thats why they always marry suckas simps or old niggas!

  68. @kikuchusss aka lakeside12 you have to go to http://en.gravatar.com/ & start up a profile

  69. As a female, I can understand why some women may hate on strippers. But I personally don’t have a problem with strippers. I’m amazed at the technique and skill that some strippers have, and for that reason as well as the fact that they grinding, making money to survive, I can’t hate. Some of them are doing better than me financially….I say to each its own. I could never do it myself because I’m too self conscious (and I can’t dance…haha). I think society, one’s upbringing, and one’s current environment might play a role in how people view strippers. Some see it as a form of prostitution, some don’t see it as an honest living, some people are too insecure with themselves and find every reason under the sun to hate on somebody doing better than them, some people don’t understand that some people will do whatever it takes to survive…everybody can’t do every job that’s out there. As long as they don’t have a problem showing their bodies and getting paid for it, why should it matter to me or anybody else.

  70. LMFAO @sean psalms.,.,you are crazy as hell!!!!!

  71. Thanks King Thomas

  72. @The Truth You cant front on that shit you feel me thats why you laughin!

  73. Every dude that cant wife a stripper is bein a hypocrite if they expect women not to look at a stripper chick differently.

u wanna go to the strip club hav fun but not have her as a wifey!! and then im the messed up one for thinkin that she (the stripper) should go out and get a better job!

i say better not decent job.

  74. Anita, I wouldnt let it kill the relationship. I have a family member that was a stripper, and she has a heart of gold. I feel any woman that I associate myself with deserves better. But if that’s what she wants to do then she will have to deal with hearing my mouth about what’s she’s doing. She has the choice whether to stick around and hear it or not.

Ellenoi1, I thing you’re right about the religious aspect of it. I grew up in a Muslim family of men so my view isn’t changing anytime soon. I also think it’s about values. Some people think it’s ok to do anything for money as long as they get theirs. And we wonder why the world is so screwed up.

  75. @sean LMFAO You is a dayum fool!!! But I hear ya though!!! 😀

  76. There’s nothing wrong with being with or marring a stripper as long as that’s all she doing is dancing and there’s NO touching, then its all good.

  77. I think the saying goes dont make a hoe a house wife, so as long as this stripper(dancer) is not a hoe then why not date them. People date playmates and porn stars they get naked, and porn stars be having sex all day, so to me a stripper might be a better move. It all depends on how the woman carries herself.

  78. i think SOMETIMES it’s the way someone is taught..but alot of those gurls do that ta pay fa school but if that’s the only way they see that they can make money then so be it…i personally wouldn’t do that except in the privacy of my own home but heyy dey gettin money the way they know how so to each there own :]

  79. i think the problem with strippers comes in when they go to the champagne room. if you go there, dance and go home then there is no problem with it. now if you chasin dollars and sucking dicks and all that other shit then you will be looked at as nasty. What did Chris Rock say? Its the same as when dudes ask a chick he is dating how many dudes she been with. You say 2 and that nigga be like 2? DAMN you wasnt raised right huh? lol So if he meet a chick at the strip club in the back room he automatically put her number at 200. You cant take her to granny house for thanksgiving. Nobody gonna want to drink in the glass she used again…EVER. lol

  80. @Anita You can see through them bitches! But for some reason society swictched and started placing MAJOR value on hoes strippers or the porn star girlfriend! Like them hoes is where its at “oh shes so hot” dont matter that she cant cook dont clean and make a lazy mother! Them bitches aint shit! And in defense of the few that use that shit as a HUSTLE! You are the EXECEPTION not the rule!

  81. I never thought about making a stripper my husband because of the shit that goes on in the club. Male & female strippers do that shit. It’s not just the ladies. But if an ex stripper got his shit together and he’s clean and healthy, I’d date him. MArry him….eh..we’d have to be dating for a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time..lolol

  82. @sean psalms.,yeah fam I feel you.,LMFAO!!!!.,

  83. @sean psalms.,.,Damn.,I forgot what I was about to say you got me laughn so hard!!!

Sounds like you got some pint up anger w/ your baby mama.,.,LOL

  84. People need to understand that just as your working they are too. Their work shouldn’t interfere with their personal lives just like regular jobs. Strippers are professionals just like us and they support their households just like us. The way they make their money shouldn’t matter. Most chicks will go date the neighborhood supplier in a new york minute because he has dough, so why look down on a stripper. Fellas should look beyond the job and get to know the person because you could be missing out on a great person.

  85. see me personally…I aint got nothing against strippers, they getting money just as well as I am…it dont matter how u get it, as long as they can take care of their self n their family….if i didnt have no job or couldnt get a job n the only thing out there is stripping(show me where the stage and pole at)lol

  86. I would date a stripper in a heart beat. If she bout somthin and got her head on straight why not? As for woman claimin tha profesion makes women look bad and no self respectin man should date one…yall know damn well yall would leave the male strip joint wit the first nigga that shakes his ass

  87. @sean LOL Seriously!!!

@the_truth I think the pent up is more than a lil LOL

@chynna truly a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time LOL

  88. @ sean psalms

GAME OVER… I’m turning my computer off!!! You got me tonight!! LOL

@tara…Mr. Dupri….That is so cute…I thought Dupri was his middle name and his last name was Mauldin…… That’s funny!!!

Back to the lab….. I’m am going to set up a live web cam soon so yall can help me make some beats!! With all these people on here knowing and talking about strippers you never know!!

  89. @kandi i like your style ; )>

  90. I think people HATE on strippers because it’s not the norm or what people have been programmed to believe as the norm….also some woman wish they looked like or could do the things these strippers do and instead of giving them there props they HATE on them or put them down! They are insecure! It’s sad, but oh so true….I personally say GET THAT MONEY! TAKE THAT MONEY! Cuz if you don’t the next chick will! I haven’t been to a strip club but I strip for my man and I don’t mind him going because I know what I do for him and that’s all that matters! I’m secure wit mine!

    ~Shi

  91. I just look at it as another J O B!!!! It’s not like she wanna be up on the pole for the rest of her life. And JD is right it does pay way better then a lot of 9 to 5’s out there. And if most females are mad about strippers its because 9x out of 10 that’s where he man is at…..MAGIC CITY!!!

1 Option: But the whole thing about niggas saying that they will never marry a stripper is because they are ashamed about how people will look at them and treat them once they say: My wife use to be a stripper. Then they got people looking at them different and so they get embarrassed.

2nd Option: Most people think that strippers are hoes. Okay yeah some are put not every single woman that dance is out there hoeing!!! Yeah she might be a stripper but she is a WOMAN FIRST!! Just because her occupation causes her to be naked 99.99% of the time doesn’t mean she is the sticky shit at the bottom of the barrel and it doesn’t mean that she feels that way about herself.

Man can watch women dance naked on a pull and pop her pussy like there is NO tomorrow and drool about it but can’t take the time to see that is more not her then her being a stripper. Strippers need love too!!!! Shit like it from T-Pain. His wife use to be a stripper and she loves are all the same. He don’t treat her NO lesser then a WOMAN!!! Because that is what she is first a WOMAN!!!

  92. I really dont care who dances on a pole, all I know is that I aint. The saying goes “Lady in the streets, freak in the sheets” (I think). I personally wouldnt go around showing my goodies to any ol’ man. Some things should be left to the imagination. Why would a real man want to bring a hoe home? Not only has most of his boys seen her ass, but probably his daddy and grand daddy! Thats not cute, nor smart. Im just saying, I have never seen a classy stripper! And I think chicks be lying when they say they dancing to pay for school. What, you couldnt get a loan/grant? But really, when ex-stripper gets introduced to the family, soon as they turn around the fam gone say, “you know she use to be a stripper”. Is that really how you want to be remembered?

  93. You know I had to get in on this topic…I frequent the strip club every week/weekend…I go there to see naked beautiful sexy women…the reason y ppl might hate on them is because they might feel like a stripper is degrading herself for money by stripping…me personally I look at it as a service…I give you $10 per song and u dance on me and tell me what I wanna hear…it’s entertainment…I Love It…I’ve dated a stripper before and won’t ever again because SOME are NEEDY…what I mean by that is if you’re their main dude, you’re going to be doing some spending…all of the strippers that I came across eat @ expensive restaurants, drink a lot, party a lot, and buy expensive purses and heels…so if you’re their main dude…guess who’s going to be taking care of the “Chops”, “”Ruth Chris”, etc.. tab…I promise you some strippers supposively make a lot of money but every month around the 1st-5th of the month I was getting “I need a favor” texts…basically asking to borrow money for their rent or to renew their permit…smh…and not only do you have to take ’em out…best believe if you’re coming in the club you’re suppose to dance them the whole time you’re there…LMAO…but don’t get it twisted some strippers are cool as hell…I fuck with them on some cool shit because I pick their brains on what songs they like dancing to…some of them really got they shit 2gether and some don’t…some of ’em are cool and some of ’em are KERAZY…some of ’em just dance for money and some do whatever (suck, fuck) for the bread…YOU CAN’T PUT ALL STRIPPERS IN ONE BOX….some of ’em are good ppl but that’s what they chose to do…I MEAN SOMEONE’S GOTTA DO IT!!!!! Will I ever let my daughter strip??? NEVER!!!!! Because she will have no reason 2…because I’ll make sure she has whatever she needs..some of these women strip out of desperation…bills, kids, etc…SO WHO AM I TO JUDGE BECAUSE I’M NOT IN THEIR SITUATION OR HELPING THEM SOLVE IT…SO STRIPPERS ARE GOOD IN MY BOOK

  94. It all comes down to if you are gonna strip and subjegate yourself to the type lifestyle that comes with it, what won’t you do for money. Honestly I hate going to strip clubs. A lot of those women strictly look at all men as a dollar sign. that could definately affect the way they see relationships. now an woman who stripped and quit I would consider but not one active. I couldn’t go out with a woman I wouldn’t feel comfortable taking to meet my mom and telling my mother what she did for a living.

  95. Okay, well, I am no virgin and I am certainly no saint, but I am not going to sit here and beat around the bush on this subject. I know people like to judge other people and ignore their own “sinful” nature or blow stuff off and be like “they grown” and out of my house. I am not one of those people. My daughter and son best aspire to something greater than ass shaking for a buck.

I was a virgin for a long time compared to my friends, but for the most part I was a good girl waiting to be a bad girl with my one and only guy for a lifetime. I try not be judgmental, but judgment is not only a bad thing. It is a necessary thing that can make the difference between a good or bad life decision. If I am having sex before I get married and I am Christian then I know that I am sinning. My sin is no different than a strippers sin. I am assuming that some people on here are religious or believe in some religion. I know many do not believe in God. But how many of us have gone to church? How many of us were raised in the church 24-7? How many of us know the story of Jezebel and countless other sinners (liars, murderers, etc) who were forgiven and went on to be great Saints? Okay, well, some of us get that attitude about strippers from our moral upbringing. Everyone has a line that they draw whether it is spiritual or not. Everyone passes judgment on someone or about something. It is just very human to do so.

I can say that I am a hypocrite. I don’t like stripping, but I would not mind learning the moves for more private reasons. lol

I understand that some people go to those clubs to have fun and act crazy and even listen to music (and look) like JD. My grandmother and great aunt went to have fun at a strip club event many years ago and they are very classy ladies. I was shocked, but whatever. Others go to get off on it. That is nasty and strange to me. It is prostitution to me. It’s like an orgy.

Most of us have known or know someone who strips. I think some of the women are very talented, skilled dancers. I don’t think all of them are though. It seemed like as soon as I graduated from high school half the girls in the class (who also were the dancers in the band) became strippers because they could. Their friends were doing it so they did it. I was appalled only because I just never thought of them in that way. I mean for me I just thought they could do better, but apparently, that was the life they chose for themselves. Then again, these were the girls that let their boyfriends dry hump them in public at sports events and put their hands down the front of their pants in public. These were the girls whose parents you never saw supporting them in anything. They had no values with regard to how their boyfriends treated them or how they treated themselves. They did not care about their reputations.

I kept thinking about their spirituality, their parent’s shame, their own shame, and, possibly, the kids that come later in life. Didn’t they have any shame? Didn’t they think that if they got through high school that they could get through college or whatever without demeaning themselves? Selling themselves for the almighty and short-lived dollar bill? I did not like them any less as people, but it was just so shocking to me. Again, I was very green when I was younger and unapologetically after God’s heart. Maybe they just did not have any parental guidance or encouragement. Maybe their parents were supportive and lived the same lifestyle? Maybe it was just a phase. Maybe it was all they could and wanted to do.

Afterwards, I thought about why they did it. Only they know because I did not know them that well. I experienced sexual realtionships for myself and my eyes were opened, but come o! Sex is NOT everything and good sex doesn’t mean you can keep your man or woman. How can you sell sex everyday of your life? People’s eyes and hands on you and you on them? I don’t get it. I can’t fathom EVER doing it not even in my darkest days or with the best body. My mind will not allow it.

Everyone just has a pathway that they take and some take a path that is destructive and get back on track, some hardly ever get off track, and some just self-destruct entirely. They can make all the money they can by stripping, but if they don’t know what to do with all that money they supposedly make then they are still foolish–just like all the entertainers, CEOs and college grads and money hungry people of the world who lose it all for lack of a plan and the insatiable desire to achieve (nothingness). Money can’t buy anything–love, respect, or immortality and anything it can buy can be taken away in an instant.

I was in college and a girl who sat next to me was stripper. She was not cute at all. She was very petite. People used to laugh about how ugly she was, but she was very fit. They could not imagine that she made money because she was not attractive. She was in college and for some reason she felt like the only thing she could do is strip to earn money–even though a lot of us worked in the malls and in the different departments across the campus–she stripped. I don’t know maybe it was a much better return than minimum wage, but surely it was not that good of an income. This girl in particular was not that smart. It is not like we were going to college in some big city and she worked in some nice club that had rich patrons because we did not. She did not have kids, but maybe she had other responsibilities. How was she really different than all the other girls on campus screwing the athletes in the hopes that they will wife them once they go pro or have their baby? I don’t think she was any different except that her business was very public.

Some people look down on strippers because of what we already know. They are sexual and they get paid for it. Everyone does not view them as a threat. All strippers are not young, firm and pretty. Some are nasty, ugly or cute, drug-addicted and disease-infested women who have sold themselves short because they are lost. They don’t all graduate to be and marry rich like Nene, Eve, Trina, or Anna Nicole and just because they do does not mean they are happy and living the life. You don’t have to be a stripper to have any of the above vices though.

I have not personally ever been in a stripper club. My friend would go and tell me about a lot of the stuff and i could not believe it. Especially when the men are swinging their thangs at any and every woman who is touching and pulling and grabbing and, for some, even sucking it in public. WTF? I am usually just floored but the things that go on outside my little bubble. lol Still green, yes I am in many ways! That kind of thing just does not sit right with me. I am not apologizing for not taking part in that kind of thing.

I have no interest in going to a strip event at this time, but I am not saying that I won’t ever go–that is the hypocrite in me, I suppose. I just have absolutely no desire to go. Honestly, I would not mind stealing a few moves from them only if I could actually pull them off. lol There is no way I am going to be able to hold myself upside down on a pole in public or private because I would look like some kind of tasty meat falling of a skewer. lol Not a good look! I think a lot of women want to be that kind of girl for their husband or man, privately, if that is what pleases them, but I don’t want to watch another woman or man do that in public–hard body or not. I have watched porn and even that bothers me, but that is how I learned a lot of what I know, too.

Seriously, as I said before, I mostly feel really sad that someone has to do that for even a quick living because in my mind a lot of the women seem like they are mad at men, stuck on stupid or vulnerable to a bunch of perverts. I have heard that a lot of them are lesbians. I am guessing they do it because that is what they know to do or think that is what their only skill is. I have heard they do it because the money is “good”. I know a lot of women who strip are smart, make that money and move on, but a lot of them are not. Many of them are not top of the line, cream of the crop dancers-with-a-plan. I am just assuming this, of course. Many are on drugs, mentally ill, victims of abuse and bad or absent parents. Again, this is not just limited to strippers, but this blog is about female strippers. A lot of them are not the high dollar-call girls we see in hip-hop or JD’s or Ocean’s 7 videos.

I don’t hate on them at all. I really want to know more about their lives and why they do what they do–but that is just the sociologist/psychologist in me being nosey and trying to uderstand how a person gets to that place. How do you do that to yourself? When I see women looking like strippers, crossing the street to go to work, I just wonder…I don’t see strippers any differently than I see prostitutes. They make money for a sexual service–plain and simple. Money is not everything. Sometimes, a plan, faith and dignity alone are enough to sustain you until your moment of glory comes.

JD, and to all the men, if you think so highly of them, I must ask this:

How many of the strippers do you and your boys befriend and marry?
Do you even know or remember their (real) names as the years pass?
Or are they just some entertaining ass set to music, to throw money at and tap on a video or in the prefab on the video set?
Would your mothers be proud of you when you bring her home to meet the family?
What do you tell the kids when they ask you what mommy does for a living? Career day at school? lol
How do these women deal with other kids making life hard for their children at school?
What will they do when their bodies most likely give way to aging?
And in the long run, is that tainted t & a enough to sustain your interest any more than any other p*ssy that ain’t being viewed by the public? Or do you lose interest in it because it becomes same ole same ole just like the professional woman you’ve been dating?

I am just saying…cause I don’t know that life or that mindset. It’s the Atl way, huh? It’s just common. Everyone is doing it? Viewing it? Condoning it? Is Creflo Dollar or Bishop Eddie up in the club in Atl? lol

I am truly not threatened by them at all. I am not jealous. I just want better for them even if they don’t. My man loves me for that great stuff he gets between the sheets, but that is for him only. Now, my intellect, well, I can share that with the world and he can get a hard-on if he wants to, but it is definitely not something that will shame him, my parents, my children or my God.

  96. I dont really hate on them i just have a genuine PITY for them because i know at SOME POINT in their career or job or whatever that they have felt like they have been degraded in some kind of way and to knowlingy feel that low and still continue doing what they do i imagine is very difficult and i feel sorry for that. What Common said “being meat everyday is devouring” ?

That ish has got to start eating at the soul at some point…i know an ex male stripper (for women) who said he thought it would be a good job at first but then he just started to feel disgusting. There is a reason for that, no one is “called” to be a stripper.

  97. lol @ Moni thats a long ass message!

  98. Tell Us How U Really Feel @ Moni

  99. YEA, MANI I’M WITH THEM…DAMN!!!!!!!!!!

  100. @ Moni Less is more! Damn!

  101. can we get over, as Chris rock said, this stripper myth of stripping to pay tuition? I met maybe one chick who has been stripping for college. 98% of these chicks just want quick easy money. Period. Also, everyone saying it’s cool, would you want your mom, sister, cousin, aunt, or any female close to you stripping for a living? Would you be cool of and encourage that?

  102. IF YOU HATE STRIPPERS THEN YOU HAVE NEVER BEEN TO A STRIP CLUB. THEM GIRLS WORK HARD. I HAVE NOTHING AGINST THEM. THEY HELP THE WORLD GOIN AROUND. ITS NOTHING BUT FANTASY. (MOST OF THE TIME) I THINK WE WOMEN SHOULD BE HAPPY THEY ARE AROUND. ALL WOMEN SHOULD GO TO AT LEAST ONE STRIP CLUB IN THEIR LIFE, YOU COULD LEARN SOME NEW SHIT, I KNOW I DID.

  103. Point Blank … Strippers get a bad name because women are Evil…we are judgemental & jealous of other women…. Name a female that aint jealous of another chick….Don’t worry I’ll wait…………. I see nothing wrong with it myself, Hell if the like it I love it! Why is it a double standard we don’t have a problem with men stripping! That’s all I have to say I can say more but what’s the use…….To my STRIPPERS LET YOUR HATERS BE YOUR MOTIVATORS!!!! BONG!

And no I’m not a stripper….Thought about it , but didn’t have the courage to do it…

  104. females stripping and males stripping are different because for every 1 man stripper there are 50 female ones. so the problem is not as persistent.

  105. da hell was that long ass manifesto about. We got ADD in this bitch you better make that shit simple and plain. lol

  106. After reading that sermon Moni posted.,Im done for the night.,.,LMAO!!!!!

    I see you @anita @Kandi:):)

  107. Hello JD,

Just like most things I believe society makes people see things differently. I believe that some people are judgemental because they are jealous and they only wish they can do what they were doing. I have to say they do be doing their thang……But to hate on them naw I think people have things that they are good at and if it works for them more power to them. How can you judge someone for what they have done in the past in some cases they just made a job change because they have out grown the job. I tell you one thing I would like to do some of the moves they do because that pure practice and skills that keeps the attention of most men and some women…….

    Thank you for asking
    Patrice

  108. I feel that when you are in a relationship you want the man love your body and not want someone else’s body (i.e stripper). Now a person can view the naked body as an art form but the average guy going to the strip club is view her as an object and by doing this how can he really appreciate and love my body. So, this is where the problem comes in for a lot of women.

  109. This is a good question for me to answer cuz my girl is an ex stripper. Wen she told me she was a stripper I was loke whoa but then she explained that it was just a job and not her career. She didn’t plan on dancing forever. She didn’t do any of the crazy shit that strippers are known for. She went to the club, made her money on stage and that was it. Know I didn’t get serious with her until she stopped but I knew her personality and wat her potential was. Now we both are college grads and we’re happy.

  110. WELL, i try not to judge ppl..some ppl gotta do what they have to do to live..i have a friend i work with at the hospital who strips on the side…When ppl found out at work they was dogging her out..When she came to me and told me, i told her i dont judge u for what u do to make a living..as long as u treat me kool and i treat u kool and we r friends nothing has changed my opinion of u..The only negative opinion i would have is the strippers who do a little extra if u know what i mean!

  111. i would never date a chick that my patnas could see naked whenever they feel like it, first of all. second, i would take her home but just to hit. we can be cool, catch a movie, but aside from that she just a jumpoff. which sucks because alot of strippers are really nice smart girls. but i can’t front the stereotype attached to strippers would bother me.

  112. Its no different from being a guys mistress, only thing its private. But no matter what, u going to get eaten alive by society, because its just 1 of those mess up situation in life where every1 have different opinion, and the reason why i wouldn’t strip in public is, i am going to get mark 4 life as a stripper an it might set me back on achieving my goals. People tend to judge, and they wont see me, they will see the ex-stripper and start questioning my intelligence and knowledge. U might make it in entertaining industry, but i am telling no matter how your GPA and test scores are of the chart, u get FUCK. All u going to hear is, U ARE TALENTED BUT IT’S GOING TO BE BAD FOR BUSINESS, MR. SO AND SO IS NOT COMFORTABLE WITH U AROUND HER HUSBAND LOL, THE CLIENTS THINKS U ARE NOT CAPABLE ENOUGH. I WISH U LUCK, I AM SORRY I CANT HIRE YOU OR KEEP YOU LOL LOL. I will strip for whoever i am dating behind close doors, its just life.

  113. I wouldn’t seriously date a stripper. I think all strippers lose all respect for men. They have contempt for men because of their experiences in the club. As far as what SPOCK said about these women are now lawyers and doctors. That’s like a stripper myth. LOL!!! You have girls that did it for a couple of months and quit that go on to other things. Any woman that did it for a number years will always have that stripper mentality. Those women my go on to work in another part of the entertainment business but working in part of the business world outside entertainment. That’s not going to fly.

In ATL, it’s just a part of the culture and as far as Jermaine saying women judge the stripper and then do it for free in the club. Well, that mainly because ATL music, mainstreams the strip club scene and the dancing that came along with it. When you get 8 years girls booty popping that’s from some shit they saw on TV.

As far as your view on this Jermaine, I’m not really surprised. Entertainment people are not judgmental and I mean that in a bad way. A person can do almost anything and if he can make a hot record. People will not give a fuck!!!

  114. niggaz who are sayin dat dey would date an ex-stripper are lying!!!!!

  115. As bad as this country is stripping may be the most honest job beside collecting trash.Strippers have the ultimate job(not career)they entertain, and they always at a party while getting paid. Everybody saying that if they do the extra job that aint cool yall still hatein ,that’s what you 9to5 folks call overtime so if they willin to fuck and suck for an extra buck get it. Who’s really wrong the married man getting the puss or the striprostitute? I don’t think I would date an active stripper but an ex I could my ex couldn’t stand strippers cause she wasn’t doin shit at the crib so ill see you in the morning Gargimell……I say a hustle is a hustle get mommi bounce

  116. i dont hate on nobody especially stripper i support them if it comes to dat 1 day why not

  117. i can only hope that strippers are not bad women, my 13 yr old son, his generation will
only have to accept the fact that every girl has some type of stripper experience present or
    past.
last summer, i went to the skating rink to pick up my son and his freinds. it was 12:15 a.m.
none of these boys would answer the cell, so i just went up there to get them.
when i arrive, not too many skaters on the floor, so i go to the back room, knock on the door
and security opens and tells me no adults allowed. i told him that i needed to pick up my son.
he says oh, your son is over there. me and my boy look like twins, so i thought that was how
    security knew him. WRONG
i walk over to see what was going on inside of this circle on the dance floor, WTF, my son is getting
a lap dance from 2 little girls.
one of my son’s friends spotted me, and i told him to have the fellas meet me outside. i lectured
those boys the whole ride home, but they probably think that i’m just too oldschool to understand
what is going on with teenagers today.
I understand but i don’t like the image that these little girls are portraying, but i still teach my
boy to respect females. but to what extent will this respect go, when he is able to witness public
    dry humping at age 12.
WHAT HAPPENED to the games that my generation played? Spin the Bottle, 7/11. the next generation
played Stinky Finger. My boy is playing what do u call it, Stripper n Training?
i have no advice to give on this question, but i need some advice on how i’m supposed to deal with
    this without getting frustrated?

    Peace of Mind,

    PrettyBrownEyes

  118. I must be honest. Sometimes I am quick to judge, but really I have nothing against any stripper. I minored in dance in school so when I tell people I used to dance they assume I was a stripper. My (real) boobs probably adds to the stereotype, but I digress. Our (american) society frowns upon nudity and sexuality so that is one problem! Many folks want to dictate their moral standards on everyone else so of course that plays a part. I think we also have to look at what type of stripper we are referring to. Keep in mind, and I think most if not all guys know this but not sure for the ladies, there are clubs that are on the “up and up” and there are clubs that have perfornances…shows…ya know girls doing girls on stage etc. In my opinion there is a difference between a porno star and a stripper. Now if you choose to be either that is your decision!!!! Not mine or anyone else! I have been friends with male and female strippers and just like anyone else, some are cool and some are creeps. I believe that some strippers have been victimized and that is why or how they deal with it but hell some Psychologist were victimized or metally abused and became a Psych. What the hell! Bottom line do you! Make yourself happy. you have one life, you cant please everyone and people will talk about no matter what ya do. PS: Some of the woman might be mad strippers have ” all those men paying their bills and did give up that good stuff”! Ha Ha, Keep laughing to the bank Mami!!!!

  119. @SEAN PSALMS

Anita You can see through them bitches!

You told the truth! I rather for these stripper hoes to be dancing in the clubs or whatever instead of sitting on that a$$ collecting my tax money they should get they kids in involve too, shyt pampers dont pay 4 thereselves!

  120. I would date a wanna be, current, used to be, whatever type of stripper. I dated a couple of strippers back in the mid-90’s and enjoyed the relationships. Most seemed to be horrible with handling their money so I helped them the best I could with money management. They are usually free-spirited and fun. It does take a little getting used to their patrons seeing them out and about while we were together but I would fall back because I was not going to f’up the $. If I met one in the club right now and she was cool maybe I would HELP her get out of the club but not immediately. Depends on where her head is.

  121. I see stripping as an occupation. And at the end of the day, it is a choice. Hell some women that don’t strip go to club and is more than willing to give a man damn near a lap dance on the floor for free so I really don’t see the difference other than the label “stripper”.

I think women are very critical of one another and then alot of times strippers are associated with been promiscious so most women assume strippers have sex for money.

  122. ….STRIPPING is ENTERTAINMENT …ALL ENTERTAINERS are DIFFERENT … i have soooooooooooooooo much to say on this subject ….but i wont do it to ya ……but i will say this “to think all strippers ‘DO WHATEVER’ …is to think all rappers ‘WILL BE AS SUCCESSFUL AS JAY Z’ ……..you have INDIVIDUALS. ….ONE DONT REPRESENT ALL… …………..strippers are ‘PAID TO BE LOOKED AT’ ….prostitution is PROSTITUTION …it is NOT the SAME …A GIRL DOIN “EXTRA” at a bachelor party IS! a girl MAKING A DECISION ..it’s not to REPRESENT …the business …that’s HER poor judgement …NOT STRIPPERS. …get it UNDERSTOOD …RESPECT EVERY WOMAN …THE WAY SHE RESPECTS HERSELF.. …stripping or not.

  123. @ Mizzdallas…. See there you go “collecting tax money”! Have you ever been to a strip club! Talk to them bitches shallow little puddles of women! With all the stripper excuses about why they do what they do when it comes down to the fact that most of them are narrcisstic (not sure if i spelled that right i just smoked a blunt)=) ego maniac bitches! That all usually go crazy around 40! Because thats around the age women notice muthafuckas aint lookin at they ass the same! The shit is comical!

  124. THERES ALL TYPES OF STRIPPERS, THERES THE ONES THAT NEED MONEY AND CAN NOT SUPPORT THEMSELVES BECAUSE IN THE WORK FEILD, IT’S HARD TO WORK AT A PLACE WHERE YOU ONLY GETTING 6 DOLLARS AN HOUR. IF YOU DON’T HAVE A DEGREE, THAN IT’S GONNA BE HARD FOR THOSE WHO DROP OUT OF HIGH SCHOOL, OR WHO’S NOT PLANNING OR ATTENDING COLLEGE. PLUS IF YOU A SINGLE MOTHER AND CAN NOT PAY TO SUPPORT THE CHILD OR YOURSELF THAN YOU GOTTA FIND SOME WAY TO MAKE FAST MONEY AND MAKE A LOTS OF MONEY IIGHT. THAT’S WHY EX STRIPPERS GO BACK TO SCHOOL TO GET THEIR G.E.D. SO THEY CAN GO TO COLLEGE AND START A HEALTHIER LIFE AND THAT RIGHT THERE I CAN RESPECT. MY BEST FRIEND IS NOW A STRIPPER, SHE GOT H.I.V. FROM HER SO CALLED BOYFRIEND WHO’S IN JAIL. SO RIGHT NOW SHE’S STRIPPING, SHE STARTED AROUND JANUARY AND I WAS SO PISS OFF, BUT THAT’S HER FUCKING CHOOSE, IT’S HER FUCKING LIFE, I NOT HER MOTHER, SO I CAN’T TELL HER TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT PATH. IF YOU LOVE MEN, IF YOU LOVE TO FLIRT, IF YOU LOVE SEX, THAN STRIPPING IS THE FIRST THING THEY WOULD WANNA PERSUE UNTIL THEY HAVE ENOUGH. TRUST ME, IT’S A REALLY FUCKED UP JOB, I KNOW BECAUSE I HEARD FUCKED UP THINGS ABOUT IT GROWING UP.

2ND OF ALL, THERES THOSE WHO CHOOSE TO STRIP, TO PROSITUTE, OR TO DO DRUGS ONLY BECAUSE THEY FEEL LIKE NO ONE LOVES THEM, THEY FEEL LIKE THEY HAVE TO MAKE THE MAN PIMP HAPPY THAN TO MAKE THEMSLEVES HAPPY. THEM CONFUSE GIRLS ARE THOSE WHO DON’T HAVE A MOTHER OR A FATHER. THEM CONFUSE GIRLS HAVE DRUG ADDICT MOTHERS WHO HIDE FROM THEIR CHILDREN. THEM CONFUSE GIRLS DON’T KNOW WHAT’S RIGHT FROM WRONG. THEY JUST CONFUSE!!! THEY LOOK UP TO THEM PIMPS WHO ACT LIKE THEY CARE WHICH THEY ONLY USING THEM FOR MONEY. THEY HAVE NO WHERE TO GO, OR NO WHERE TO LIVE SO THEY CHOOSE TO STRIPP. THOSE TYPES OF STRIPPERS I HAVE NO RESPECT FOR. I USE TO LIVE IN LITTLE HAITI, I USE TO SELL DRUGS, AND I USE TO DO STUPID SHIT ONLY BECAUSE I WANTED TO FIT IN. I WAS IN A FUCKED UP SITUATION IN MY LIFE BECAUSE I COULDN’T CONTROL MY EMOTIONS. THAT’S WHY PEOPLE DO THESE THINGS. THEY WANNA FUCKING LOOK COOL! THAT’S WHY PEOPLE NEED ROLE MODELS GOD DAMNIT.

I’M BI SEXUAL, PEOPLE JUDGE ME AND MY SEXUAL ORIENTATION ALL THE TIME, AND IF THEY ARE AGAINST HOMOSEXUALS THAN THAT’S THEM, THEY TITLE TO THEIR OPINIONS. I DIDN’T CHOOSE TO BE BI, IT’S JUST A FEELING THAT’S IN ME. IF I JUDGE ON STRIPPERS IS BECAUSE THEY FUCKED UP, AND THEY NEED GUIDANCE, AND ONE DAY I MIGHT HELP THESE GIRLS TO GOING IN THE RIGHT PATH.

  125. @Nakita Benjamin. People dont judge you but to want the best of both worlds comes off as selfish and confused! I dont understand why “bi” people dont understand this concept!

  126. WHY ARE STRIPPERS LOOKED AT AS BAD PEOPLE, EVEN THE ONES THAT DON’T DO IT NO MORE?

One of the hot commodities in our society is sex. Most people in our society must have this commodity. Yet, sex is a subject that is not open in our society. Yes, we talk about it on a casual level and that is it. Our society do not want to recognize strippers or people in this profession as hardworking honest people because sex is suppose to be a form of pleasure between two married people. Most people think Strippers and people in this profession promote promiscuous activity. This is maybe far from the truth, most people in our society is Sex crazy… and it didnt just start, it has been documented since biblical times ( City of Sodom and Gomorrah) and more.

My thing is do not judge a book by the front and back cover, read what is inside first.

JD, it may be good society does not give high honor to this profession, that means this hot commodity can be costly and the people in this profession can at least capitalize.

  127. @sean psalms

Looks like you holdin’ this one down.,.,I’ll catch you on the next topic.,LMAO

    Yo ass is goin’ IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.,.,LMAO:)

  128. i think that strippers are looked down on because they dance with their clothes off and in society thats just as saying they they sell their bodies for money. its considered inappropiate and un-lady like, but i personally dont knock any person who strips. shyt u gotta pay the bills somehow.

  129. From a open-minded female point of view. I’m not one to hate/judge anyone… like JD said.. its a job and if thats what they want to do then by all means.. shake ya ass.. I will be the first to admit i’ll be in the front row with my husband next to me shakin my dollas lookin to have good time….

It’s 2009 people!! sex in the public eyes has changed throughout the years.. it went from the playboy magazine, polaroid pictures; vcr tapes;sex hotlines; sex on the internet; now to 55 secs recorded from your cell phone!.. hahahhaaa!!

    My .02 cents!

    🙂

  130. the truth is i would date an ex-stripper if she had a good personality was respectful to her self(not doing nothing strange for a piece of change etc) and just looked at stripping as a hustle and not a career, was clean and took good care of herself and was bout her BIDNESS , I don’t knock the naked hustle because its females who do way worse(fucking for a buck etc) for way less money. As for the third question would if i met one in the club that i liked would i date her, I don’t know she would have to stop stripping ASAP not because shes a stripper but i dont want some dudes looking at my girl how i should be looking at my girl and seeing the same thing i see when were in the bedroom i guest you can same im jealous (not in a crazy obsessed kind of way) i just believe whats mine is mine, and the only one she should be stripping for is me, I dont want to be walking somewhere dudes be like ain’t that ol’girl from the club and start doing disrespectful things that could cause a lot of problems.

  131. @ The Truth I gots ta do it! @Spock You know how we roll homie!

  132. WOW… me, personally. I could never but I wish I could because it DOES make more $$ than SOME 9-5s.

As a female, i just think strippers strip. It’s an occupation and its what they do. You can’t group everyone together. Expecially because all strippers can’t really dance! (I have a big ass problem with that!) I love SOME strip clubs. It’s fun to go to and them chicks have talent! *giggles* No shade! Do what you do… I don’t get why other females hate.. I think its an inferiority complex that some females have? IDK. Whether they think they’re better or not, some females just hate on strippers because they feel they shouldn’t get what ever praise/credit they get. But shit, some of them are really good at what they do. So why be mad?

I see it like this… a Stripper Strips… but a Hoe is a Hoe. And the two are different. Stripper Hoes are stripper hoes. *shrugs* I can see why a dude would have a problem, in the long run with his chick stripping. That’s understandable. But Maino said it best, “I can’t preach to you, if I can’t feed you.” And love doesn’t pay bills. So in reference to what JD said… if u can take shawty on the pole and make her an Amber Rose… why not! No shade there. But if your chick is doin something strange for a li lpiece of change… leave her ass right there and keep it moving.

  133. especially. … ugh what a terrible typo.

  134. Hey JD. Strippers are looked down upon, in my opinion, because people are insensitive to other’s situations. In a Biblical sense women are not to exploit themselves in that manner. Your body is a temple (not to be seen, touched and/or degraded by the things strippers may subject themselves to) and meant only for your eyes and your true husband. But some women do it for enjoyment and other’s may need the money because of a financial struggle. I’ve never been in such a position to make the decision of whether to strip or not. For those who oppose the job – don’t judge, help by being an example of your “better lifestyle” even if the girl has left that scene alone! JD for people whom agree with you who think it’s an occupation – yes, it is a job and a preference.

  135. Yo wardu yep man its an occupation but i guess it is their last resort but still at the same time ,i think people are just different so it maybe an interest too.`i still don`t go for them`

  136. Just thought i would comment and say neat design, did you code it yourself? Looks great.
