  15. I really can’t even find the words to express how I feel right now. I’m truly a MJ fan and this really saddens me but I know he’s in a better place right now. I didn’t even wanna believe it when I heard it, but when Brian Williams announced it on the 6 o’ clock news it finally hit me. All I could do was cry like a baby. I’ve never met or went to his concerts before but I felt so close to him because his music touched me.

    His music always makes me happy. There’s not a day that goes by when I don’t play at least one of his songs. I can remember when “Jackson 5: The American Dream” movie would come on and I would not budge until it went off. I would skip school or not go out on the weekends if MTV had a MJ video marathon running. I have so many memories that involved him that it’s ridiculous. Any who, I’m gonna leave on a positive note with an old video clip of me actin a fool to “BAD”.LOL

I am a huge Janet Jackson fan, I repurchased her velvet rope/all for you dvd set just two days ago, I already have Michaels History dvd and was thinking of getting another one since it too is quite worn from over play, I chose to wait on it, and now I wish I got it. My prayers go out to you janet and jermaine, to janet for losing one of her closest siblings, and for the days ahead dealing with the issues that sudden death can bring to a family, and to jermaine for the strength, wisdom, patience, and courage to be the shoulder, rock, and friend janet will truly need you to be in the days, weeks, months and years to come, following this tragic time her life. I wish you both the best and will continue to pray for you in the days to come, May Gods face shine upon you.

I was sitting at home about to watch the NBA DRAFT and i got a text saying michael jackson in a coma and I immediately turned to CNN because I knew if I wanted to know what was going on CNN was going to have the latest coverage on the story…so i turn to CNN the screen said Micheal Jackson suffers cardiac arrest then literally 3 mins later it said he was in a coma five minutes passed and the screen read MICHAEL JACKSON DEAD AT 50 I literally had to pause the tv to read that statement over and over again to make it register in my brain and it still hasn’t. I’m tell you what this feels like to me… you know like growing up you look up to your mother and father and idolize them because they were there to protect you and keep you safe and feel like nothing or no one could ever take them away from you because you just think they are the strongest people in the world and that they can’t and will never leave you..thats how this feels right now like i’m still asking myself is mike really gone? is this real? Michael Jackson is an ICON in the industry and I know there are alot of imitators( i dont think i spelled that right) but there is only one ORIGINATOR…Rest in Paradise…we share the same birthday too AUGUST 29th I cant believe this this just a reminder that god is still and will always be in control RIP farrah fawcett as well JD kiss janet for us my heart goes out to the jackson family

  31. This is the most significant lost of my generation. This is our Elvis. Our John Lennon. I wasnt born when the before mentioned two died so this is it for me. Its wierd. I never thought how I would feel because it aint like he has come out with an album in years but when my brother, who is 15.. 12 years my junior, calls shaken, this is something. I feel empty like MJ was someone in my family. This is surreal to say the least and there will NEVER be anyone like him! And I feel this is why it hurts soooo much! Who can u compare to him?? The world has lost a music icon…there are really no word to describe the influence this man had on many generations not just one, but entire family had the opportunity to be bless by his talent. I am not sure how old I was but I remember being in my grandparents home watching a number of concerts that aired on ABC then watching The Jacksons: An American Dream…It seemed like every year that movie came I watched it…I think that in some way watching these specials and the impact and the ability to touch so many souls through music, to the point where people would pass out…not just one or two people but masses of people would pass out by just seeing him on stage.. That is talent and respect and artistry….Michael is the standard of what production is, not a beat but creating art…. from the start of single song to a complete Album to the music video then to the stage production and finally WORLD TOUR and repeated consistantly. He didn’t fill venues he felt arenas/stadiums so massive no average person can consider the idea…it was all of this that made chills flow down my spine and I would be move to cry sitting at HOME watching this on tv at a young age I knew music can touch souls because I saw it and felt it by watching a tv special. With all the trials and tribulations Mr. Jackson gave, us music and kindness no matter how negative the situtation became and honestly in this moment I think he is finally at peace…his legacy is set in stone not to be out done. In this moment all I can say that because so much was given to us he can now rest in peace knowing that he is in a better place and no more judgements can be made. To the family your pain is shared but I think Michael said it best in you are not alone…you all now have a personal angel, maybe the pressures of this life were to much but now in the Kingdom of God your son, brother, friend, is stronger then ever and is watching you all. much love.

  37. This is the worst day ever. Michael’s song “Gone to Soon” is a perfect song to sum up his departure. My thoughts and prayers go out to Prince, Paris, Blanket, and the rest of his family. I still want someone to pinch me and tell me that I’m dreaming. This is just beyond words. Were supposed to celebrate when someone goes to heaven, but Michael was an angel on earth and me and millions of other’s was not ready for him to go. I just can’t believe this…. Why?? I don’t think I have ever cried for someone as much as I have cried for Michael and his family. JD I know you will be there for Janet during this horrible time. We have lost the greatest. What do we do now? Who do we look to now? Michael’s heart was too big for his body. His love for other’s was remarkable. He adored his fans, but I know he loved his children more then anything and I hate that they can no longer be together. I really wish I could turn off the tv, go in my room, and play all of MJ’s music but I can’t for two reasons… 1. Listening to him right now would make me hysterical again and 2. I feel like I need to keep watching to hear about how his family is doing during this horrible time. Jermaine J. was very brave for speaking on behalf of the family, I really don’t see how he was able to muster up the strentgh to speak today. I have loved Michael since I was a toddler, and I feel as if I lost a member of my family. I know it’s impossible to live forever, but I really wanted Michael to. His music will live on, and his memory will live on through his children, family, and fans. I just hope Michael wasn’t in pain and I know he will be looking down on his children. I’m still hoping that I will wake up in the morning and all of this will not have been real. Michael’s fans felt his love, strength, courage, kindness, and humbleness. He was a gift that we sadly had to give back today. I love you more Michael and I can’t believe your gone. Good Bless the entire Jackson family and may God look over his 3 beautiful children.   53. Janet lost half of her. I watched a video of janet on oprah just yesterday b4 his death n she talks about depression n when she was a child there was an incident thAt haunted her. The 5 th grade teacher embarassed janet in front of the class and during the velvet rope tour b4 stage shed just cry n cry from those memorys. I remember losing my cousin, and almost two years later I will never forget the day he died, the last day i spent with him or the place I was when I found out he was shot.   122. Well – to be honest I can’t say that I was the big Michael fan – but growing up in the eightees there was no way to get around his music, his work. He invented the modern stage shows everybody is doing now.
    As a DJ for 21 years I truely spinned a lot of his records – and still do – tonight maybe a few more plus a few videos – where he again set the mark to a new level.

    I always thought that he might come back – with producers like JD or R-Les – maybe the remix wave will hit his work soon – we will see.

    I hope he will find peace now – for me it always looked like he never had any peace during his lifetime. A human being without any chance ever to be just human.

  173. My heart aches. Sometimes a gift can feel like a curse, thus we deny the talent until it no longer exists. I cannot deny the terrible feeling I had in my gut. Tuesday…I saw a photo of Michael and stated to my mother and sons, “Micheal is not going to be with us much longer.” They asked why I thought that..I said “I know it I can feel it- he’s walking in a different light.” He was with his children and it was the happiest I think I’ve seen him look in years. He looked a little weak but he was “glowing”.
    The same day I saw Farrah slipping away- I said, ” if they’re remarrying it better be today; tomorrow is not promised for her.” I wish I had never let these come out of my mouth…

    Yesterday I gave up praise for the greatest “Side Kick”, “Angel” and “BAD Man” of my generation. They all suffered hardships; professional and personal and were remained loyal fans. I pray we’ve all shown them how much they meant to us as entertainers, and as kind humanitarians for they have all truly touched the world with their spirits. They showed us that in the end- they are as “real people” who need and deserve respect and love. What a shame they can’t see the outpouring of love.

    Perhaps I felt the loss because I recently lost my best friend int eh world- my grandmother and yes…I told my mother she was going and when the time came…she went. I feel she went in the manner she did so others would not be subjected to her fate. A warrior until the end, with the heart of an angel like Farrah.
    The WORLD has many warriors and angels and I say these 3 fought the war in life they now share the crown of victory in a much better place. Rest in peace-peace and blessings to the families and fans.

    I hope Nana’s there with them…getting dance lessons from Michael, moon walking on her new knees (she never got to use) with Bryant Gilbert’s father, striking a pose and flipping her hair with Farrah and hamming it up on the sofa late at night with Ed.

Michael was a misunderstood man criticized by people who didn’t want to take out the time to try get to know him. I’m glad Michael will never have to hear such negativity towards him anymore. Like I said before I feel for his children and family, but my heart really goes out to Ms. Katherine as well. One of the most honest things was said by one person on CNN yesterday (can’t remember who it was) but they said “Michael was Katherine, and Katherine was Michael” I just wish this were a dream. Michael you will always be loved, and I will never forget about all of your contributions that you have given over the years. His heart was bigger then life. Me and the rest of his fan’s are just confused beyond belief right now. Why did this have to happen to such a good person? June 25th was the day that our King went home. He was an angel on Earth and he will continue being an angel in Heaven.

    This really HURTS!!! I have not slept. I have been crying off and over the past few days. I grew up listening to the Jackson 5. I was 3 years old when “ABC” was released in 1970. My older brother of 9 years was in a marching band named “The Soul Risers.” They marched to all of the Jackson’s hits! I so wanted to take part in it but was much too young. As any other kid in the hood, we stood in front of the tv and studied the moves. Bell Bottoms, Platform Shoes and Soul Train! Life was good! The sound track of my entire life revolves around The Jackson’s.

I am not mad at Joe Jackson in fact I thank God for him and Katherine because without them we wouldn’t have the Jacksons and without his strict discipline Michael wouldn’t be the greatest entertainer that ever lived. Simply put, Michael was born to entertain us and he knew that. All he wanted to do was make his fans happy first and I would like to thank him so much for inspiring me with his music and dance which made me a perfectionist when it comes to creating my art.
