TALK TO ME!!!!!!!!!

TODAY’S TOPIC IS ONE THAT ALWAYS SEEMS TO MAKE FOR A LONG CONVERSATION. STRIPPERS!!! THE MOST WANTED TO BE AND BE WITH BUT AT THE SAME TIME THE MOST HATED. I’VE NEVER UNDERSTOOD THE HATING PART BECAUSE FIRST ITS A OCCUPATION BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE. A DIFFERENT TYPE OF JOB BUT A JOB THAT PAYS BETTER THAN MOST 9 TO 5s. I’M ALWAYS HEARING OTHER WOMEN SAY ITS DEGRADING AND ALL THIS BUT SOON AS YOU TURN THE MUSIC ON THEM SAME GIRLS ARE DOING WHAT WOULD BE SEEN IN THE CLUB LOL. FOR EXAMPLE I HEARD SOMETHING WHERE SOMEBODY WAS TALKING ABOUT NE NE OFF THE ATL HOUSE WIFE’S DOGGING HER OUT CAUSE SHE USE TO DANCE AND I’M LIKE SO WHAT !!!!

THEN ON THE GUYS SIDE, NIGGAS GO AND SPEND ALL THERE MONEY IN THE CLUB BUT THEN TURN AROUND AND SAY THEY WOULD NEVER MAKE A STRIPPER THEY GIRL OR WIFE HUMM

SEEING HOW I HAVE MORE FEMALE LIFERS THE FIRST QUESTION IS FOR YALL? WHY ARE STRIPPERS LOOKED AT AS BAD PEOPLE, EVEN THE ONES THAT DON’T DO IT NO MORE?
THE NEXT 3 QUESTIONS ARE FOR MY FELLAS? WOULD YOU DATE A EX STRIPPER? IF NOT WHY ? IF YOU MET 1 IN THE CLUB THAT YOU LIKED WOULD YOU DATE HER AND TAKE HER OUT THE CLUB?

TALK TO ME!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh my. I absolutely had to chime in on this one. Being an ex-dancer myself, i caught alot of grief from friends and potential boyfriends once they found out, and although it’s been 8years since I last danced, I still have people bringing it up once they find out. I grew up in a very pretentious(sp) family and school setting, so this type of behavior is very frowned upon I lost alot of friendships, and guys felt they couldn’t trust me or I was promiscous. When in reality the very opposite was true, I am the most loyal, and have slept with very few men in my entire life, but yet nothing I could do or say would convince them of that. dancing in the club was nothing but a job for me, once I left work I left all of that behind. I used the club and didnt allow it to use me. The stigma on strippers is probably because there are some who are “bad”, I watched many come in “good girls” but leave totally different people. But i also know so many who actually dance there way through school, are respectable mothers, and do it as a second job. The money is stupid good. I made $500-1000 a night doing nothing but showing my body, working weekends only. I went to school during the weekday, it was the perfect situaiton. I was supporting myself at the age of 20, with a car, an apartment, and I paid for my tuition. Now I Have my post-Masters degree in a very resptectable profession making six figures with colleagues who are Doctors, and lawyers and I mingle among them without them having an idea of my past profession. Yes, I caught alot of flack, but looking back I would not change a thing. It played a big part in making me who I am today, and I have no regrets! (f.y.i I still get in the mirror when I’m alone and shake a lil somethin, once a stripper always a stripper.) hehe…smooches:-)

This argument goes as far back as the Old Testament. No man wanted a woman who wasn’t a virgin. So a woman who already “knew” a man before marriage was less desirable. In some cultures this is still true. Some still stone women for adultery but slap the hand of men. Strippers then and now fall into this category because they cater to the lust of men. Lust is 1 of the 7 deadly sins. Religion plays a huge role in how we see things.

As a woman, we see strippers doing what we’re AFRAID to do privately, wouldn’t even think to publicly and pass judgement mostly because men give more attention to them than us. And because stripping is tied to prostitution there’s another reason we pass judgement. We (men and women) don’t see a stripper and think it’s a whole person with feelings nor any real intelligence sliding down that pole. So again we feel we can look down our noses at them. Ironically, strippers take off ALL their clothes for hundreds or even thousands of dollars a night, yet some of us will let a dude feel us up for a mere meal at decent restaurant costing less than $50.

We want to be seen for more than just our tits and ass. But sadly, tits and ass are too often the easiest way to get a man’s attention. So that’s why so many women are “face down ass up in the club” just for male attention. And notice too more often than not the “face down ass up chicks” aren’t generally the “finest” or “pretty girl” most guys are sweating over anyway. It’s generally the chick (s) starving for attention acting that way.

Lastly, Historically women black & white have fought to be deemed more than just property, a tool, or merely a hole to rest in. So for many women strippers take us back to that same place in society we’ve tried to so hard to escape. Truly, this convo goes deeper than you may think. Not every stripper is dancing for college tuition or to make ends meet, some of them strip cause they believe what they’ve been told negatively about themselves and their bodies.

well lets see i think most females hate strippers because they cannot do what a stripper does it takes alot of skill and patience to deal with horny men on a daily basis and sum of them r disrespectful. also most women are not strippers because they want to be they are strippers because they have to be…i am a firm believer that u cannot knock the next persons hustle…most of these women need to get in where they fit in and find their own huslte and be great at it… but that probaly will never happen cause they are worried about what the next chick is doin…

I believe most women have the perception that being a stripper equates to being a drug abuser, alcoholic or a prostitute. I don’t find anything wrong with the profession as long as you don’t feel like your losing your dignity in performing. Strippers are confident in their body & love the attention so I say more power to them. Their profession doesn’t make them less of a lady & I personally enjoy the entertainment.

Well personally i dont think strippers are bad people they chose to make there money that way and like u said it does pay more than some 9 to 5 and im a woman but i think they are looked at like that bcuz they take off there close infront of stangers but the women who say that probly never had to do something like that before but untill they need a reason to do something like that they wont but strippers they break it down in there minds if u take the random men away and replace it with ur boyfriend then take the club away and replace it with ur own house when u do that every women becomes a stripper no women can say they never danced and stripped at the same time for their boyfriend not once also thats why some strippers close there eyes some dont want to do it but they have to to support there family and them. so this is the instance when dont knock it till u try it comes in play

beim…its like this people in america have been trained to be dumb, they dont have this problem in europe…shit its respected in those europen countries! I seen where this chick from austria got the playboy centerfold and her whole da family came over to support her and wish her well. America is the least advanced society on the face of the earth. Keep in mind that none of these strip clubs or escort services are having money problems…the porn industry is keeping its numbers strong as well…. that being said america grow da fuck up!!!!!!!!!
i have met plenty of strippers that i liked…most strippers do have a state of mind where they just want money…others are naturally whores, so finding a stripper thats worth being with is very rare! If i found a stripper or ex stripper that wasnt all about money and didnt have to many miles on her pussy i would treat her like she wanted to be treated…all in all im just a playa anyway and im only gonna go so far wit a chick weather she a stripper or paris hilton’s momma…. chemistry is one thing and lust is another… beim
In closing, strippers are a part of the fabric that holds our society togather… the adult industry is a part of the fuel the feeds the engine of this so called great nation! perhaps things would be better if america just admited to itself that we like naked girls… stippers…are people to…BEIM

I personally don’t have a problem with strippers. I even considered stripping myself but couldn’t bring myself 2 do it. I was so scared if I did that someone would find out. What I was doing it or my family would be ashamed of me. I just know people always talk shit about strippers like they are a piece of shit. I never understood why? It takes a lot of guts 2 do something like that and it not easy to do either. It’s hard enough walkin in them clear high ass heels, but dance they them in them shits like it ain’t hard 2 do and it is. I think people are way 2 judge mental when it it comes 2 other peoples lives and how the live it. Nobody gives male strippers that much grief and they’re doing the same shit! Men just don’t give lap dances LOL! I know they’re some sleazy strippers out there that Prostitute and other shit that they should do. That’s the kind of shit that gives it a bad name. I still believe that 2 each his own and we shouldn’t judge other peoples lives and how they make their money. Unless you’ve walked a mile in there shoes if not Mind your Bizness!

I personally don’t see what the prob is with that! I am a dancer, professionally trained and HAVE thought about it. It takes a very intellectual woman to strip, as well a bish that has a bangin body, err body aint able! I say to all the dancers do U, and dont trip wit the haters. The prob comes in when a bad bish gets tested, and peeps want to see how far u gonna go for the cheese. Then it becomes a personal choice, how far are your morals gonna let u go Really?! It then, becomes a everyday moral check!!! Personally, I dont think I want to be tested in that way, and would hustle and make my cheese in a way that is not compromising me the daily ya dig!? Some woman are soldiers and can make there money in that environment w/out compromising, but hey everyone can’t be a bad bish and a soldier at the same time. If you do find a chick that is just that bad bish, and you feelin her, whose to say that you can’t wife that bish!!!!

I think that women are looked down upon for stripping because there so many other things that you can’t do for a living beside taking off their clothes. Also I think that alot of people believe that women should carry themselves in a certain matter and taking your clothes off for money is not one them. I’m not a hater by any means. I say if your going to be a stripper then be the best damn stripper in the club.

As a female, I can understand why some women may hate on strippers. But I personally don’t have a problem with strippers. I’m amazed at the technique and skill that some strippers have, and for that reason as well as the fact that they grinding, making money to survive, I can’t hate. Some of them are doing better than me financially….I say to each its own. I could never do it myself because I’m too self conscious (and I can’t dance…haha). I think society, one’s upbringing, and one’s current environment might play a role in how people view strippers. Some see it as a form of prostitution, some don’t see it as an honest living, some people are too insecure with themselves and find every reason under the sun to hate on somebody doing better than them, some people don’t understand that some people will do whatever it takes to survive…everybody can’t do every job that’s out there. As long as they don’t have a problem showing their bodies and getting paid for it, why should it matter to me or anybody else.

Anita, I wouldnt let it kill the relationship. I have a family member that was a stripper, and she has a heart of gold. I feel any woman that I associate myself with deserves better. But if that’s what she wants to do then she will have to deal with hearing my mouth about what’s she’s doing. She has the choice whether to stick around and hear it or not.

Ellenoi1, I thing you’re right about the religious aspect of it. I grew up in a Muslim family of men so my view isn’t changing anytime soon. I also think it’s about values. What did Chris Rock say? Its the same as when dudes ask a chick he is dating how many dudes she been with. You say 2 and that nigga be like 2? People need to understand that just as your working they are too. Their work shouldn’t interfere with their personal lives just like regular jobs. Strippers are professionals just like us and they support their households just like us. The way they make their money shouldn’t matter. Most chicks will go date the neighborhood supplier in a new york minute because he has dough, so why look down on a stripper. Fellas should look beyond the job and get to know the person because you could be missing out on a great person.

I just look at it as another J O B!!!! It’s not like she wanna be up on the pole for the rest of her life. And JD is right it does pay way better then a lot of 9 to 5′s out there. And if most females are mad about strippers its because 9x out of 10 that’s where he man is at…..MAGIC CITY!!!

1 Option: But the whole thing about niggas saying that they will never marry a stripper is because they are ashamed about how people will look at them and treat them once they say: My wife use to be a stripper. Then they got people looking at them different and so they get embarrassed.

2nd Option: Most people think that strippers are hoes. Okay yeah some are put not every single woman that dance is out there hoeing!!! Yeah she might be a stripper but she is a WOMAN FIRST!! Just because her occupation causes her to be naked 99.99% of the time doesn’t mean she is the sticky shit at the bottom of the barrel and it doesn’t mean that she feels that way about herself.

Man can watch women dance naked on a pull and pop her pussy like there is NO tomorrow and drool about it but can’t take the time to see that is more not her then her being a stripper. Strippers need love too!!!! Shit like it from T-Pain. His wife use to be a stripper and she loves are all the same. He don’t treat her NO lesser then a WOMAN!!! Because that is what she is first a WOMAN!!!

Not only has most of his boys seen her ass, but probably his daddy and grand daddy! Thats not cute, nor smart. Im just saying, I have never seen a classy stripper! And I think chicks be lying when they say they dancing to pay for school. What, you couldnt get a loan/grant? But really, when ex-stripper gets introduced to the family, soon as they turn around the fam gone say, “you know she use to be a stripper”. Is that really how you want to be remembered?

You know I had to get in on this topic…I frequent the strip club every week/weekend…I go there to see naked beautiful sexy women…the reason y ppl might hate on them is because they might feel like a stripper is degrading herself for money by stripping…me personally I look at it as a service…I give you $10 per song and u dance on me and tell me what I wanna hear…it’s entertainment…I Love It…I’ve dated a stripper before and won’t ever again because SOME are NEEDY…what I mean by that is if you’re their main dude, you’re going to be doing some spending…all of the strippers that I came across eat @ expensive restaurants, drink a lot, party a lot, and buy expensive purses and heels…so if you’re their main dude…guess who’s going to be taking care of the “Chops”, “”Ruth Chris”, etc.. tab…I promise you some strippers supposively make a lot of money but every month around the 1st-5th of the month I was getting “I need a favor” texts…basically asking to borrow money for their rent or to renew their permit…smh…and not only do you have to take ‘em out…best believe if you’re coming in the club you’re suppose to dance them the whole time you’re there…LMAO…but don’t get it twisted some strippers are cool as hell…I fuck with them on some cool shit because I pick their brains on what songs they like dancing to…some of them really got they shit 2gether and some don’t…some of ‘em are cool and some of ‘em are KERAZY…some of ‘em just dance for money and some do whatever (suck, fuck) for the bread…YOU CAN’T PUT ALL STRIPPERS IN ONE BOX….some of ‘em are good ppl but that’s what they chose to do…I MEAN SOMEONE’S GOTTA DO IT!!!!! Will I ever let my daughter strip??? NEVER!!!!! Because she will have no reason 2…because I’ll make sure she has whatever she needs..some of these women strip out of desperation…bills, kids, etc…SO WHO AM I TO JUDGE BECAUSE I’M NOT IN THEIR SITUATION OR HELPING THEM SOLVE IT…SO STRIPPERS ARE GOOD IN MY BOOK

It all comes down to if you are gonna strip and subjegate yourself to the type lifestyle that comes with it, what won’t you do for money. Honestly I hate going to strip clubs. A lot of those women strictly look at all men as a dollar sign. that could definately affect the way they see relationships. now an woman who stripped and quit I would consider but not one active. I couldn’t go out with a woman I wouldn’t feel comfortable taking to meet my mom and telling my mother what she did for a living.

Okay, well, I am no virgin and I am certainly no saint, but I am not going to sit here and beat around the bush on this subject. I know people like to judge other people and ignore their own “sinful” nature or blow stuff off and be like “they grown” and out of my house. I am not one of those people. My daughter and son best aspire to something greater than ass shaking for a buck.

I was a virgin for a long time compared to my friends, but for the most part I was a good girl waiting to be a bad girl with my one and only guy for a lifetime. I try not be judgmental, but judgment is not only a bad thing. It is a necessary thing that can make the difference between a good or bad life decision. If I am having sex before I get married and I am Christian then I know that I am sinning. My sin is no different than a strippers sin. I am assuming that some people on here are religious or believe in some religion. I know many do not believe in God. But how many of us have gone to church? How many of us were raised in the church 24-7? How many of us know the story of Jezebel and countless other sinners (liars, murderers, etc) who were forgiven and went on to be great Saints? Okay, well, some of us get that attitude about strippers from our moral upbringing. Everyone has a line that they draw whether it is spiritual or not. Everyone passes judgment on someone or about something. It is just very human to do so.

I can say that I am a hypocrite. I don’t like stripping, but I would not mind learning the moves for more private reasons. lol

I understand that some people go to those clubs to have fun and act crazy and even listen to music (and look) like JD. My grandmother and great aunt went to have fun at a strip club event many years ago and they are very classy ladies. I was shocked, but whatever. Others go to get off on it. That is nasty and strange to me. It is prostitution to me. It’s like an orgy.

Most of us have known or know someone who strips. I think some of the women are very talented, skilled dancers. I don’t think all of them are though. It seemed like as soon as I graduated from high school half the girls in the class (who also were the dancers in the band) became strippers because they could. Their friends were doing it so they did it. I was appalled only because I just never thought of them in that way. I mean for me I just thought they could do better, but apparently, that was the life they chose for themselves. Then again, these were the girls that let their boyfriends dry hump them in public at sports events and put their hands down the front of their pants in public. These were the girls whose parents you never saw supporting them in anything. They had no values with regard to how their boyfriends treated them or how they treated themselves. They did not care about their reputations.

I kept thinking about their spirituality, their parent’s shame, their own shame, and, possibly, the kids that come later in life. Didn’t they have any shame? Didn’t they think that if they got through high school that they could get through college or whatever without demeaning themselves? Selling themselves for the almighty and short-lived dollar bill? I did not like them any less as people, but it was just so shocking to me. Again, I was very green when I was younger and unapologetically after God’s heart. Maybe they just did not have any parental guidance or encouragement. Maybe their parents were supportive and lived the same lifestyle? Maybe it was just a phase. Maybe it was all they could and wanted to do.

Afterwards, I thought about why they did it. Only they know because I did not know them that well. I experienced sexual realtionships for myself and my eyes were opened, but come o! Sex is NOT everything and good sex doesn’t mean you can keep your man or woman. How can you sell sex everyday of your life? People’s eyes and hands on you and you on them? I don’t get it. I can’t fathom EVER doing it not even in my darkest days or with the best body. My mind will not allow it.

Everyone just has a pathway that they take and some take a path that is destructive and get back on track, some hardly ever get off track, and some just self-destruct entirely. They can make all the money they can by stripping, but if they don’t know what to do with all that money they supposedly make then they are still foolish–just like all the entertainers, CEOs and college grads and money hungry people of the world who lose it all for lack of a plan and the insatiable desire to achieve (nothingness). Money can’t buy anything–love, respect, or immortality and anything it can buy can be taken away in an instant.

I was in college and a girl who sat next to me was stripper. She was not cute at all. She was very petite. People used to laugh about how ugly she was, but she was very fit. They could not imagine that she made money because she was not attractive. She was in college and for some reason she felt like the only thing she could do is strip to earn money–even though a lot of us worked in the malls and in the different departments across the campus–she stripped. I don’t know maybe it was a much better return than minimum wage, but surely it was not that good of an income. This girl in particular was not that smart. It is not like we were going to college in some big city and she worked in some nice club that had rich patrons because we did not. She did not have kids, but maybe she had other responsibilities. How was she really different than all the other girls on campus screwing the athletes in the hopes that they will wife them once they go pro or have their baby? I don’t think she was any different except that her business was very public.

Some people look down on strippers because of what we already know. They are sexual and they get paid for it. Everyone does not view them as a threat. All strippers are not young, firm and pretty. Some are nasty, ugly or cute, drug-addicted and disease-infested women who have sold themselves short because they are lost. They don’t all graduate to be and marry rich like Nene, Eve, Trina, or Anna Nicole and just because they do does not mean they are happy and living the life. You don’t have to be a stripper to have any of the above vices though.

I have not personally ever been in a stripper club. My friend would go and tell me about a lot of the stuff and i could not believe it. Especially when the men are swinging their thangs at any and every woman who is touching and pulling and grabbing and, for some, even sucking it in public. WTF? I am usually just floored but the things that go on outside my little bubble. lol Still green, yes I am in many ways! That kind of thing just does not sit right with me. I am not apologizing for not taking part in that kind of thing.

I have no interest in going to a strip event at this time, but I am not saying that I won’t ever go–that is the hypocrite in me, I suppose. I just have absolutely no desire to go. Honestly, I would not mind stealing a few moves from them only if I could actually pull them off. lol There is no way I am going to be able to hold myself upside down on a pole in public or private because I would look like some kind of tasty meat falling of a skewer. lol Not a good look! I think a lot of women want to be that kind of girl for their husband or man, privately, if that is what pleases them, but I don’t want to watch another woman or man do that in public–hard body or not. I have watched porn and even that bothers me, but that is how I learned a lot of what I know, too.

Seriously, as I said before, I mostly feel really sad that someone has to do that for even a quick living because in my mind a lot of the women seem like they are mad at men, stuck on stupid or vulnerable to a bunch of perverts. I have heard that a lot of them are lesbians. I am guessing they do it because that is what they know to do or think that is what their only skill is. I have heard they do it because the money is “good”. I know a lot of women who strip are smart, make that money and move on, but a lot of them are not. Many of them are not top of the line, cream of the crop dancers-with-a-plan. I am just assuming this, of course. Many are on drugs, mentally ill, victims of abuse and bad or absent parents. Again, this is not just limited to strippers, but this blog is about female strippers. A lot of them are not the high dollar-call girls we see in hip-hop or JD’s or Ocean’s 7 videos.

I don’t hate on them at all. I really want to know more about their lives and why they do what they do–but that is just the sociologist/psychologist in me being nosey and trying to uderstand how a person gets to that place. How do you do that to yourself? When I see women looking like strippers, crossing the street to go to work, I just wonder…I don’t see strippers any differently than I see prostitutes. They make money for a sexual service–plain and simple. Money is not everything. Sometimes, a plan, faith and dignity alone are enough to sustain you until your moment of glory comes.

JD, and to all the men, if you think so highly of them, I must ask this:

How many of the strippers do you and your boys befriend and marry?
Do you even know or remember their (real) names as the years pass?
Or are they just some entertaining ass set to music, to throw money at and tap on a video or in the prefab on the video set?
Would your mothers be proud of you when you bring her home to meet the family?
What do you tell the kids when they ask you what mommy does for a living? Career day at school? lol
How do these women deal with other kids making life hard for their children at school?
What will they do when their bodies most likely give way to aging?
And in the long run, is that tainted t & a enough to sustain your interest any more than any other p*ssy that ain’t being viewed by the public? Or do you lose interest in it because it becomes same ole same ole just like the professional woman you’ve been dating?

I am just saying…cause I don’t know that life or that mindset. It’s the Atl way, huh? It’s just common. Everyone is doing it? Viewing it? Condoning it? Is Creflo Dollar or Bishop Eddie up in the club in Atl? lol

I am truly not threatened by them at all. I am not jealous. I just want better for them even if they don’t. My man loves me for that great stuff he gets between the sheets, but that is for him only. Now, my intellect, well, I can share that with the world and he can get a hard-on if he wants to, but it is definitely not something that will shame him, my parents, my children or my God.

I dont really hate on them i just have a genuine PITY for them because i know at SOME POINT in their career or job or whatever that they have felt like they have been degraded in some kind of way and to knowlingy feel that low and still continue doing what they do i imagine is very difficult and i feel sorry for that. What Common said “being meat everyday is devouring” ?

That ish has got to start eating at the soul at some point…i know an ex male stripper (for women) who said he thought it would be a good job at first but then he just started to feel disgusting. There is a reason for that, no one is “called” to be a stripper.
