According to MTV News, JayAre (born Cheron Childs), one-fourth of the Inglewood, Calif. group, suffered from sickle cell anemia and was admitted to the hospital on Thursday night. While in the hospital, he went into cardiac arrest and died.
His fellow CSD member Smoove Da General shared the sad news. “Sickle celltook my brother away from me today…with that being said I’m proud to know that with that disease he made the best of his life,” he tweeted. “Rest in peaceJayare I’m gonna miss u forever ..I will never get over this..but I know God got u..and I know You got me.”
