I saw the whole show. It was wonderful. I had no idea that his life was as hard as it was. You never know people’s stories man. So many ups and downs. He seems like an honest, sincere man at heart. I love him and Ashanti’s relationship and that they’re taking it as slow as they need to. Hearing his story was inspiring and enlightening. Of course we don’t know these celebrities personally but if there’s anything I know about Nelly from watching this episode of Behind the Music it’s that he’s a fighter. God has show some amazing favor and mercy in his life and that’s real.
