All I can say is WOW!!! If 00711′s “Ready” is anything like “Anticipation” then I am 100 times more excited for it. This mixape is HOT!! “Scratchin Me Up,” “On Top” and “Yo Side Of The Bed” are my favorites. But, what I love is that I can let it play from beginning to end. It’s classic material. Thank you, Trey for this!!!
I have to say this Anticipation CD made my night last night. I’m in love with the song ‘It Would Be’. I’ve been holding Trey down for about 4 years now. I’m one of his fans from before the world knew him and i have to say i was disappointed in him lately and said to myself that ‘Ready’ was going to be the make or break CD for me and his music. But this Anticipation Mixtapes has reasured me and showed me the Soulful R&B Trey I loved from ‘Gotta Make It’ again. Because of this mixtape i see why i feel in love with him in the first place! Keep doing your thang Trey!
I’ve been listening to this mixtape all day and half the night. As a Trey fan it makes me even more anxious to get my hands on “Ready” when it drops. Out of all the Trey albums and mixtapes I own this one is my second favorite only behind “I Gotta Make It” which is a modern day R&B classic in my eyes.
Ok so I’m very new 2 listening to Trey Songz music… I never knew tht he could blow the way he blows until the bet awards! So tht left me wanting more, so I will be downloading this cd tonight.
Every song on the mixtape is panty dropper worthy, I am glad Songbook took a chance and put out something that truly showed us who Trey Songz is, this will definitely hold me down until Ready finally drops on 8/04/09. Anticipation is definitely bringing love making back to R&B definitely 5 stars!!!!
Okay I just met Trey last Wednesday @ Genuwine’s party. Ladies, Trey is definitely just as sexy in person as he is on this mixtape. His BET Awards show was damn fabulous too. Then I listened to his mixtape this morning from Twitter. Oooh wee! Good mix of pleasure and pain *wink*. Keep your nails right ladies!
Did I hear little Marvin Gaye vibe in some of those songs. Regardless, they’re forecasting rain in sunny california when Trey’s mixtape plays, especially when I’m listening to it. Humidity will definitely be on the rise!

Songz is just that dude! First “Genesis” – he wasn’t lyin, it was only the beginning. Now “ANTICIPATION”! I downloaded it last night as soon as the link went up. I’ve been listening to it ALL DAY at work. I love them Ocean’s boys!!!!!!!!!!

Trey songs is from VA like myself and he reps so hard. I have been down with him from the very beginning…I have seen him perform the same concert 4 times!! and I dont care because he is REAL r&b and thats what we need in music..good luck on the mixtape JD.
