Just like most things I believe society makes people see things differently. I believe that some people are judgemental because they are jealous and they only wish they can do what they were doing. I have to say they do be doing their thang……But to hate on them naw I think people have things that they are good at and if it works for them more power to them. How can you judge someone for what they have done in the past in some cases they just made a job change because they have out grown the job. I tell you one thing I would like to do some of the moves they do because that pure practice and skills that keeps the attention of most men and some women…….

I feel that when you are in a relationship you want the man love your body and not want someone else’s body (i.e stripper). Now a person can view the naked body as an art form but the average guy going to the strip club is view her as an object and by doing this how can he really appreciate and love my body. So, this is where the problem comes in for a lot of women.
This is a good question for me to answer cuz my girl is an ex stripper. Wen she told me she was a stripper I was loke whoa but then she explained that it was just a job and not her career. She didn’t plan on dancing forever. She didn’t do any of the crazy shit that strippers are known for. She went to the club, made her money on stage and that was it. Know I didn’t get serious with her until she stopped but I knew her personality and wat her potential was. Now we both are college grads and we’re happy.
WELL, i try not to judge ppl..some ppl gotta do what they have to do to live..i have a friend i work with at the hospital who strips on the side…When ppl found out at work they was dogging her out..When she came to me and told me, i told her i dont judge u for what u do to make a living..as long as u treat me kool and i treat u kool and we r friends nothing has changed my opinion of u..The only negative opinion i would have is the strippers who do a little extra if u know what i mean!

I wouldn’t seriously date a stripper. I think all strippers lose all respect for men. They have contempt for men because of their experiences in the club. I must be honest. Sometimes I am quick to judge, but really I have nothing against any stripper. I minored in dance in school so when I tell people I used to dance they assume I was a stripper. My (real) boobs probably adds to the stereotype, but I digress. Our (american) society frowns upon nudity and sexuality so that is one problem! Many folks want to dictate their moral standards on everyone else so of course that plays a part. I think we also have to look at what type of stripper we are referring to. Keep in mind, and I think most if not all guys know this but not sure for the ladies, there are clubs that are on the “up and up” and there are clubs that have perfornances…shows…ya know girls doing girls on stage etc. In my opinion there is a difference between a porno star and a stripper. Now if you choose to be either that is your decision!!!! Not mine or anyone else! I have been friends with male and female strippers and just like anyone else, some are cool and some are creeps. I believe that some strippers have been victimized and that is why or how they deal with it but hell some Psychologist were victimized or metally abused and became a Psych. What the hell! Bottom line do you! Make yourself happy. you have one life, you cant please everyone and people will talk about no matter what ya do. I would date a wanna be, current, used to be, whatever type of stripper. I dated a couple of strippers back in the mid-90′s and enjoyed the relationships. Most seemed to be horrible with handling their money so I helped them the best I could with money management. They are usually free-spirited and fun. It does take a little getting used to their patrons seeing them out and about while we were together but I would fall back because I was not going to f’up the $. If I met one in the club right now and she was cool maybe I would HELP her get out of the club but not immediately. Depends on where her head is.
I see stripping as an occupation. And at the end of the day, it is a choice. Hell some women that don’t strip go to club and is more than willing to give a man damn near a lap dance on the floor for free so I really don’t see the difference other than the label “stripper”.

Our society do not want to recognize strippers or people in this profession as hardworking honest people because sex is suppose to be a form of pleasure between two married people. Most people think Strippers and people in this profession promote promiscuous activity. This is maybe far from the truth, most people in our society is Sex crazy… and it didnt just start, it has been documented since biblical times ( City of Sodom and Gomorrah) and more.

Hey JD. Strippers are looked down upon, in my opinion, because people are insensitive to other’s situations. In a Biblical sense women are not to exploit themselves in that manner. Your body is a temple (not to be seen, touched and/or degraded by the things strippers may subject themselves to) and meant only for your eyes and your true husband. But some women do it for enjoyment and other’s may need the money because of a financial struggle. I’ve never been in such a position to make the decision of whether to strip or not. For those who oppose the job – don’t judge, help by being an example of your “better lifestyle” even if the girl has left that scene alone! JD for people whom agree with you who think it’s an occupation – yes, it is a job and a preference.
