By the time I get tired of hearing this song, that’s when everyone here in Boston jumps on it. That’s how it always is.

Yall are not going to get that record until you go to the club and see the kids dance to that record. This is what you call a participation record. AND THEY WORK. Jermaine wasn’t the Jermaine we know until he dropped “JUMP” a participation record. I purchased Silk X Leather back in the day and still have the record. The Woman in Me was a dope ass song but without that crowd participation it takes a lot more for the record to blow up. I produced a song called “Crank That Roadrunner” check it out on youtube. I got 3 girls from Columbia High to make up a dance to it and kids from all over the country were uploading their version and they still are. That song has sold over 55,000 ring tones and downloads, which proves my point. When you first come out you can’t just have a hit record you have to have a BREAK THROUGH record and there is a difference. That Swag song is a BREAK THROUGH record for them boys just like “Party like a Rockstar” was but the question is what they can come up with next. You use to have the sophomore ALBUM jinx when people come out with a hit first album and then the 2nd one is sorry but now niggas are have the sophomore single jinx… SAD

By the way, I actually still purchase music, I refuse to download or bootleg. People that love music still go to the store and buy music, just if anything to show appreciation to the musician. Today I purchased Keri Hilson. I purchased it because I love the first single but also because I went to Morehouse with Polow and wanted to support him. I sometimes go down to Zach’s Studio and sit in the studio with him. Dude is a real nigga. He even let Rich Boy get on my album free of charge, but anyway, I listened to her album. That shit sucks. What the fuck is going on? I work 10 hours a day and then come home and try to do music, but these people don’t have no other job but to make music how can it be wack? Polow has some tight songs on it but overall I will never listen to the CD all the way through. That new producer Danja is why its wack, they should have cut his songs. As a matter of fact that is the last CD that I am going to buy without previewing the songs on Itunes first. COME ON PEOPLE, let’s make some quality music!!!

Nope, sorry JD… I’ve never heard this before either…. I like the beat but it sounds like everything else on the radio. That’s all everybody raps about now is swag….. I wouldn’t jam it though because I can’t groove to it.

I can say the song is def. just a start. These boys actually can make music. This is not a Soulja boi moment. When they are 4 singles in on the album and still coming. Then post this question again. Bet u will get different responses.

Remix it then maybe, cause right now that beat sounds very karaoke-ish

  27. 26 Mar 09, 4:27pm

sorry but i’m not feeling this one. I’ll have to pass

  28. 26 Mar 09, 6:25pm

JD, I am not a fan of this song. Honestly Im not too sure how it is doing around here because I do not listen to the radio. No disrespect to those from Atlanta, but they all talk/rap the same, absolutely no individuality. Although the songs isn’t really hot to me, people are liking it so those boys can do what they do.

I no I’m late but this is not poppin’ at all. It sounds like the same ole’ thing we’ve been hearing…it’s unoriginal to say the least. Here today-gone tomorrow rap! Nothing classic about this. Just a quick buck and that seems to be what the industry is after.

JD you no better than to endorse this kind of music. You’re better than this…I believe that.
