Sony’s new VAIO Pro series has landed and it arrives with a leaner build than the golden boy from Cupertino. The 13″ VAIO Pro weighs in at a very svelte 2.3lbs while its 11″ sibling comes in at a pretty incredible 1.92lbs. On the performance side, the laptops have Intel’s next generation “Haswell” Core i7 processors, 4GBs of DDR3 1600MHz SDRAM on the 11″ and up to 8GBs of DDR3 1600MHz SDRAM on the 13″, 256GB SSD (up to 512GB on the 13″), Intel HD4400 graphics, and both have 1080p screens.
