Was in Atlanta workin this week and the whole city was buzzing about @jwarhol & this So So Def 20 Anniversary Show. Im not from the A so I didnt really know how important it was to the city, but I sat down at Fellini’s over a slice of pizza and reminisced about all this dude has done. I dont think he gets the credit he deserves when it comes to being a mogul. Mainly becuz of where he’s from. This guy was repping ATL before anyone that I can remember was. He got his first major placement at 15 years old! At 17 he wrote and produced a whole album that sold 8 millions records! Yea..read that last one again. Lol by 19 he had his own label & distribution. He put out the first female rapper to ever sell a million records. Gave Usher some of the biggest records in his career. I think people write him off cuz Kriss Kross was young, Bow Wow was young…man them mofos was stars. Brought Mariah back, Anthony Hamilton, Jagged Edge, Xscape just to name a few, dislike him if you want but Im sitting here trying to find someone who broke as many artists as he did. I dont mean signed people that were already hot I mean found people and made them stars. Ghead I’ll wait. Hats off to you @jwarhol congrats bruh. You deserve it.
