Prince is headlining the 20th annual Essence Festival, being held July 3-6 in New Orleans. The purple one last took the stage during the Essence Festival in 2004.Every Independence Day weekend, tens of thousands of music lovers travel to New Orleans to participate in festival activities. The festival not only includes nightly concerts but also include empowerment seminars held during the day.
