Nikon Announces D4S DSLR with ISO 409,600

Nikon has just announced an upgrade to its top-range D4 DSLR camera with the new D4S. The most noteworthy addition is the ability to shoot up to ISO 409,600 over the older model’s 204,800 capabilities, which translates to roughly a full stop of range in low-light situations without comprising much on image quality. Other features include shooting up to 11fps at full-resolution with autofocus and autoexposure on each frame, thanks to 30 percent more processing power than its predecessor. In terms of video capabilities, the D4S is the first professional DSLR that shoots 1920 x 1080 footage at 60 fps. The Nikon D4S releases on March 6, $6,499 USD
