Up for auction is Michael Jordan unprecedented $33 million contract which is the most valuable contract in NBA history. Featuring the signature of MJ, former Bulls General Manager Jerry Krause and Financial Officer Irwin Mandel, the historical 24-page contract was purchased back in 2000 for less than $1,000 by an anonymous buyer and now the current bid is $47,500, the internet auction can be seen here until its closes on July 30.
“It’s hard to compare this to anything we’ve sold,” said Chris Ivy, Heritage Auctions’ director. “It’s Jordan, who is in a class by himself, and, to our knowledge, this is the only Jordan playing contract to ever surface.”
