Bio | Rob Green is an American rapper from Saint Louis, MO. Green signed to Urbana Records/Bandland Entertainment in 2015. He is best known for his controversial “Saint Louis Rapper Gets Slapped While Freestyling” video that went viral in 2010. Brief Background Rob Green was raised by his grandmother in one of the roughest parts of Saint Louis, The North Side (6th District), Having served time in a Saint Louis correctional facility for weapons-related charges and seeking a way out of a life of selling drugs, Rob Green choose to pursue a professional career in music. Music Influence Although Green’s style of rap is considered “trap”, he likes to call it “check music”. His sound has been influenced by Andre 3000, Twista, Gucci Mane, & Dipset.
