Background Information
Leone’s passion for music started at a young age. Never being the one to stand out in school he had everyone stunned when he made his first appearance singing “I Believe I can Fly” at the annual music competition. He recorded his very first amateur production on a cassette tape adding his own vocals to ANGEL, a song which was done by Shaggy.
He is also an amazing artist with creativity beyond imagination, a dancer with moves that could leave you breathless, and also an actor with a lot of potential to take on any given role. Prince Leone is already doing what most artists have not even thought of doing. As an artist in search of a record label to back him up, he made his debut on official radio when he released the first version of “Wobble Ya Jelly” in 2007 in Sri Lanka. The release of this first single prompted him to be featured on an entertainment night show on TNL radio, a premier radio station in SriLanka, where he performed the track live on air and thereafter followed by performing two more singles. Within hours he had the phone lines buzzing and fans craving to hear more, producers wanting to work with him and even TV hosts wanting him to appear on their respective shows. The Christmas of 2007 was when he released his first Christmas single called “Christmas Time” which was a club banger and had everyone showing respect that many others could not get.
His next big breakthrough was when he was featured on YES FM, SriLanka’s largest radio station, with his latest single in 2008 called “Burn Me” which turned out to be the hottest single to air on local radio. At that point he had the radio station call him up and have a live interview on air. He was asked to appear on three TV shows (Sirasa TV, Iraj show, Mix bag) where he was interviewed on what he was all about and also asked to perform live on air.
This led to newspapers write-ups and live club performances. Leone was featured on the Sunday Observer and the Daily News, two of the largest newspapers in SriLanka, for two months and had everyone both in Sri Lanka and also around the US amused at how much this rising star had done in a month of being on vacation from his studies in the US.

Musical Achievements
Leone has been featured on many artist albums. This includes that of Dinesh, an artist that specializes in Tamil language songs, who is a huge success in the Asian market right now. His album, ‘TAMILE‘, containing the hit single called ‘WEB GAMES’ featuring Prince Leone, is currently a huge hit in India. This has helped Leone establish a name for himself in the Indian market and around the region.
He also featured on Singer/ Actress Natasha’s single ‘SLEEP WALKING’ which was recorded in Sri Lanka and sent out to London where it is to be aired under Natasha’s contract label.
His current music is aired on Sri Lanka’s premier radio station, YES FM & also made the top 10 most requested on multiple occasions.
Prince Leone also bagged the most requested single on college radio for two months in Pittsburgh.
Prince Leone’s latest feature has been with Shaun Perera, who is also a Sri Lankan residing in London, and Stephan Neera who is residing in Paris. Prince Leone has been asked by many music groups both upcoming and established, to be their main rapper. He has also been approached by Sri Lankan artist Ashanti, who offered him the option of being her lead rapper.
Prince Leone also composed the official theme song for the Red Bull X Fighters Jams in Sri Lanka 2011.
Prince Leone’s music is currently being aired in colleges around USA and has also reached fans from all around the world with much demand for his new single “Dancing with Jesus” which is transforming lives as well as minds at the moment in ways never thought of before.

Performances
Prince Leone has taken the stage at various night-club events at venues such as Riverina hotel, Onyx night-club, Silk, Mojo, R&B, Clancy’s, Galadari hotel Taj hotel, Cinnamon grand hotel and Intercontinental hotel. Every one of these performances left the crowd simply stunned and wanting more.
Another crowd pleasing performance was at “Rockapalooza”, the annual rock concert. The Prince took the challenge of performing in front of a rock audience and completely dumbfound everyone with his single ‘45 Weeks’, a hip hop and rock mix.
At Slippery Rock University, he consecutively made his mark at the annual International Night. He left his fans, including fellow students, faculty and staff members, longing for his show to see him hit the stage once again. He also performed twice at the open mic night at the university and was undoubtedly the best act.
He made his biggest performance yet at the ‘JPBTV Bragging Rights’ hip hop showcase on September 6th in 2009, at the Shadow lounge in Pittsburgh PA. It was quite apparent that the Prince was in the building. The Prince came in second place amongst seven other groups that consisted of two or more performers in each group that brought the best, but couldn’t match the heat that the Prince produced. Unfortunately he was just 4 votes short of the first place, but that did not stop everyone at the Shadow lounge in Pittsburgh from saluting and applauding the Prince for bringing the best international performance they had ever seen.
He was featured on Prime TV, one of Sri Lanka’s modern TV stations. They also had him perform at their anniversary celebrations, which turned out to be a great hit. All this was topped off by the prestigious after party performance held in honor of the Sean Paul concert held in Sri Lanka in 2010. From that point forward Prince Leone has been performing vigorously at many venues such as; Cinnamon grand, the cricket World Cup finals after part party held by Red Bull at the Ceylon continental hotel, 31st night celebration at Galadari hotel, the Warehouse Project, two fashion shows, charity events, Quest Destination’s awards night, HSBC awards night and more recently on the Iraj show, a popular hip hop program aired on one of the more popular TV stations in the country and many other events.
Prince Leone has also performed at major events such as the Artwalk fashion show, charity concerts, and even at the Red Bull celebration Party which was held for Sebastian Vettel in September. But nothing could top his performance at the Red Bull X-Fighters Jams in Colombo 2011 where Prince Leone and his crew performed a brilliant fusion act for the first time ever in Sri Lanka. His latest performance was when he opened for Mohombi live in concert on the 30th of September 2011.
Soon after this Prince Leone performed in Singapore, Dubai as well as India where he rocked crowds and won the hearts of many with his skills and his charms.
A few weeks back Prince Leone performed at a charity show which was graced by the British High commissioner and his performance was applauded by many foreign delegates as well as their families for a job well done as he performed a combination of Rock, Hip hop and Beat boxing like never before.
Prince Leone is currently scheduled to perform in Pittsburgh, USA in a few weeks from now and is anxiously awaiting his performance.
