Few people in the entertainment industry are passionate, entrepreneurial and a forward-thinking as the multi-faceted executive Patrick Bentley. Less than a year in the music industry he was offered a label deal by Jheryl Busby. Mr. Busby was the former president and chief executive officer of Motown Records had helped the careers of numerous music artists to flourish. Included in Busby’s success stories were Johnny Gill, Queen Latifah, and Boyz II Men and New Edition to name a few.
A Macon, Georgia native, Patrick Bentley began managing groups while attending Southwest High School and signed a recording deal with Keith Sweat’s label. After graduation Patrick moved to Atlanta to pursue his music career and started interning for Rowdy/Arista Records.
He worked with high-profile personalities such as Grammy Award winner super producer Dallas Austin which allowed Patrick to work projects with Madonna, Michael Jackson, Mick Jagger, Pink, Boys II Men, TLC, Monica, 112 and Usher. Mr. Bentley has also leveraged his abilities within the fashion industry working with such firms as Tommy Hilfiger and Pepe Jeans creating endorsement deals. After that he created more deals with company like Korg.
He also manage Grammy Nominee Multi-Platinum Producer, Carlos ‘’Los Vegaz’’ Thornton. work to w/artist and groups such as Destiny Childs, TLC, Pink, Aaliyah, Usher, Ludacris, Akon, Lil Jon, Young Jeezy, Ciara, Kelly Price, 112, Jagged Edge, 702, Monica, Boyz n da Hood on hustle and Flow soundtrack, Yung Joc, Rick Ross, TI ,Daddy Yankee, and most notable to date Grammy nominated artist Soulja Boy ‘’Soulja Girl in 2009.
Most recently, Mr. Bentley has focused on real estate, Multimedia, films, and opening “The Bean” an upscale coffee music lounge that will serve everything from specialty coffees, wine and fresh pastries. He has utilized his entertainment and fashion experience and business acumen to create business relationships with hundreds of celebrities and other high profile clientele.
