~ LIFER ~

I am not in the music industry; As I am studying law. Though I’ve always played a huge part in r&b, jazz, soul, rap and hip-hop culture- And confidently/surprisingly know as much as somebody who is. I can pass a “SoSoDef quiz” with flying colors on the spot. Both Jermaine Dupri and Pharrell have inspired me throughout my lifetime, And have had a huge impact on my life in several ways.

It was once Teddy Riley who wrote “There are three kinds of producers: the musician who plays instruments and arranges music, the beat maker who’s skilled with the drum machine and takes several tracks to put together a chord, and the articulator who has an idea of everything he wants to hear and expresses it verbally for others to play.”
That third “producer”, that is what I consider myself to be. My vision has always been something different; something that cannot be exactly expressed on paper.

My full length biography cannot be described the way I’d like it to with any 5 minute type of time frame. I’m able to write as much as I’d like, but words on a screen can only get me/us so far. How does one distinguish themselves more than another online? A reader can only see/read so much- Yes, my ideas can be described virtually, but have a 10x stronger impact through conversation.

I cannot play instruments well; However I do not try to. My specialty is providing ideas that most people would never pick out. Though I do consider to know much, it was Pharrell who once pointed out that “Everyone you will ever meet knows something you don’t” so I also believe that to be true. Most instances in my life, my “learning” process has been through those who inspire me; and ideas that kept me inspired. Essentially, a lot of our knowledge comes from others we learn from. We teach, we learn. We learn, we teach. Cycle of life
