Reuben Started as a boy with an extreme Love for music. Living in a community filled with bad but also good influences, he somehow only managed to see most of the bad. Living in a broken home, (his parents always having issues.) he found himself finding more & more talents (such as drawing, sports & music.) as he push himself to stay positive-as he grew in age. He comes from a very talented back round, with his mother being a vocalist as she was growing up. He didn’t start rapping until he was 9 years of age. However he’s become one of the best “lyricist” that people have ever heard. He’s been singing since he was a toddler, being involved with church & school choirs gave him an even stronger feel for music. Once he hit the age of 13, he started to take his music to the next level, forming a “three-man” (himself, his older brother Michael, and best-friend Shannon.) rap, r&b, and hip-hop/pop group with no name.(Later that group became “Worth The Wait” by adding another close child hood friend to their inclined vocal blessing know as David R&B Made Davis. with the help a “Jackie Sang”.) By the time he excelled to high-school, his talent had gotten him noticed by peers. Throughout his years in high-school, he became known in his small but ruff city as a “Musician”. His 10th grade year, he fell in Love with the “piano”. Although he couldn’t but never did take the time to learn how to read, he has an amazing ear for music, and plays very well. So well that he ended up writing a song for the school he was attending and had his 1st song (Called “I Am”) published on the schools Radio (M-Tec) under the teaching of “David Rucks”. He later met a man by the name of ………………………. “David Curry”, (co-founder of the “Mississippi Mass Choir”) his 11th grade year, who mentored him for a year, on how to play by ear. He also had his 2nd song (Called Death is A Miracle) published. Although he was doing well with his Love for music, he still had issues at home that took his focus off school his senior year. He ended up dropping out of school only to return a year later, to finish. After Dropping his 1st ever personal Project titled *The Mr. Onni$ WhaYe Project Volume 1* He started turning even more heads through out his Region (West Michigan). He’s still currently pushing that project while working on Volume 2. Set to come out in the Summer of 2011 titled “Writer’s Block”.
Now Reuben is taking classes (since-Winter*2011) at Full Sail University as a Scholar-Student. It is the top College in the world for “Music & Entertainment” (A Real World Education); with his major being “Recording Arts”. “Music”. His 1st Love.
