I noticed you posted your music and had no comments…. The best way to enjoy this is talk to people on there post spark up a convo and tell them to check out your stuff…. But I would after a while wonder why would I invest time and no one sees me… But I think you should stick around and create convo on other people post introduce yourself and get it cracking….

Okay leads me to say this tell me more about you I checked out your blog about hip hop… Do you do music as well?
Yeah, I’m an artist as well as producer, kind of, I make my own beats, since I can’t buy the sound I like, but yeah, I’m an artist, but at my regular job, I’m an engineer and the local auditorium, so mixing records, mastering them is what I do mostly right now, until the music starts to take off… i took a 2 yr break from the music, so I’m trying to get used to all of this all over again…

Honestly, I hate it, I wish they would take me off of it, the job itself makes me not want to create sometimes, I’d much rather do something else and keep the music fun, but since their tied into each other, I tend to hate it, because of the regular job, all they do is keep me pissed off all the time… Mostly why I took the break, that and the fact that I wasn’t motivated by the ish that was out at the time, but now, I’m seeing artist, KIND OF like myself breaking in, and it makes me want to start creating again… I’m a fan of Mos Def, Talib Kweli, R.A The Rugged Man, LMNO, etc. Again, I’m old school, so I like lyrics, and 2 years ago, I wasn’t hearing any, it was all about the beats and hook…

No shot at LOS but that’s the problem with artists (producers are artists too) they expect to sign up to a social network, post they music and fans/supporters and labels are gonna flock after em. You have to interact with the community if you want the communities support. You are one of THOUSANDS of artists on here, what are you doing on here to make anybody care about your ar?. Please don’t think a nigga comin at you i’m just keepin it real when most won’t.
Bobbi, you’re good fam, I’m old enough to know not to take ones opinion or advice to the head, I understand where both of you are coming from, basically what I was saying when I was going to leave, wasn’t because anyone was or wasn’t checking my music, I wouldn’t expect them to check out something that wasn’t their to hear in the first place, my reason I was thinking about bouncing was the fact that I’m on facebook, twitter, reverbnation, imradio, soundcloud, MYSPACE, youtube, songcast, etc., I could name more, but I’m tired as hell and not trying to type all of them, I was just cutting out the sites that for me made sense, not saying this site is bad, I think it’s cool, I just was thinking from what I’m seen or had understanding for, was this site seems to cater to the younger folk, and I was feeling like it wasn’t for me, music, etc. The people are cool, but I also know what type of sound I’m creating, so to me it just seem like the place not for me, but I’m not going anywhere…

We appreciate good entertainment around here no matter race, sex, age etc so please continue to post it and try to build a conversation around each piece even if it’s letting us know what the tracks are about or a funny story about recording/writing or what have you.

Nah, actually I try to stay away from the Manga itself, because I want to wait on the actual cartoon, like right now on http://www.narutospot.com they are in the war, and I’m patiently waiting to see Madara in actual combat, the manga ruins it for me, lol, so I don’t read them anymore, but I’m a heavy fan of DBZ as well as Inuyasha… Actually I use alot of metaphors in my music from those toons, and even describe my rhyme style behind Itachi Uchiha’s Sharingan… I could stay on all night talking about this, make sure you add me as a friend if you haven’t, we’re going to finish this convo….
