About me – I’m a new artist and well I’ve been writing songs for as long as I can remember. Growing up I was instantly drawn to old school music which definitely reflects in my writing style and choice of melodies. Influences are Faith Evans to Mary J. Blige to Maze to Marvin Gaye, Toni Braxton, Miki Howard, Brandy – you pretty much name it. My favorite writer is Babyface. Vocally, I’ve been compared to Coko (from SWV), Kameelah Williams (from 702) and Lil Mo. My ultimate goal is to create authentic music that challenges the listener to reflect on throwback, familiar sounds that cultivated the music of today.
