Bio | In 1983, DiVerse was born in Honduras from where he was adopted as an infant by two White parents from the United States. After growing up in New York City and Miami, FL., he studied Sociology at Occidental College in Los Angeles. After returning to New York in 2006, he studied Education at CUNY Hunter College and became a New York City public high school teacher. In 2010, he developed the concept for creating something different in the world of hip hop through working with underprivileged youth. Two years later, he is proud to present his first project, entitled, “Relevant Rhymes”. His purpose: to challenge the status quo in both hip-hop and American society. |
