C’Jaay ThaPrince was born in the center of the entertainment capitol of the world, so he was destined to be in the spotlight. Full of personality and drive he continues to push his intense flow through the underground scene. C’Jaay began his career in 2010 at the age of 10.
While his dad discouraged him from singing, his mother encouraged him to be whatever he wanted to be. He says that’s when he unleashed the inspiration he kept bottled up from his then rapper mom & her boyfriend. He began recording track after track in his closet, until he stumbled upon one he knew had to be recorded in a quality studio. In 2014 C’Jaay performed that same song & was the winner of his first live performance/talent show, “Apollo In The Desert”.
He’s since collaborated with a handful of local artists, performed at many events & continued to perfect his music.
