JUST A THOUGHT…

Faith without works is dead, right? Well, let me put my faith to the test. I’m packing up my few belongings and relocating to the city of Atlanta. Why? Opportunities are knocking (some present and some are in line waiting to knock on the door). Things are falling into place and I feel it’s time to move on up. Yes, the Jefferson’s theme song is playing in my mind at the moment, but what’s the point of living this life if you never move on up? Fish still aren’t frying in the kitchen and the beans still aren’t burning on the grill, its taking a whole lot of trying and determination to make it up that hill.

Reality is present, but faith is stronger. I don’t want to live a life of where I am more concerned about what is and what isn’t and never focus on what can be and what will be. If the greats before me accomplished their goals/dreams then why can’t I? A struggle never hurt the believer. Faith. Power. Determination.

This past spring semester taught me a lot of serious lessons. My car was hit twice which resulted in me developing 2 concussions in 4 months. Besides the concussions I had 5 college courses, a job, K.R.I.M.E, my own personal music business career, traveling/networking, family, and myself to balance. LOOK! Some days I just didn’t do a darn thing and other days I was able to tackle everything on this list. Life isn’t about what you go through, life is about what you survive and overcome. If y’all only knew the entire story.

Let me wrap this up, I’m going to charge forward and make an positive impact on the business side of the music industry. I’ve got be all I can so others can believe and become. Walking by faith and not be sight. Leggo.

On my way to my brother’s college graduation… He only gave me the wrong dates 3x, but as long as I get to see him walk across the stage. We’ve been going to the same school from preschool to community college (then we went to separate universities). He’s a year older and #2 out of 4, but I look up to him a lot.
