“P.S.”-The Int’L Grinda

“P.S.”[patrick r. spurgeon] was born December 28, 1984, in Nerumburg, Germany , son to Lonell & Carol Spurgeon. In 1989 at the age of 5, His father picked up his family due to military orders and relocated to Fort Gordon Army Base in Augusta, Georgia, Where shortly there after ,his father would be deployed to Desert Storm. Even at a very young age, P.S. loved listening and being around all different types and kinds of music, but it wasn’t until the age of 9 when his curiosity to take music serious was sparked. As he looked up to his cousin [Maurice Houston] which was a roady for various major artists in the 90’s era and his older brother [Rod Spurgeon] who was well put together lyricsit and an early age. While going into his teenage years, P.S. Continued to persue his dream of becoming one of the nicest Mc’s of his generation. At age 14, P.S. And his identical twin brother, Derek[“YoungSkywalka”]Spurgeon, began teaching themselves how to record, create production, mix, master & write quality music. In Febuary of 2005, P.S. Enlisted into the UnitedStates AirForce, where he would be stationed in Okinawa, Japan for the next 4 years of his journey to expand his talent as 1/3 of the group, “The International Grindaz” & 1/8 of the “A-Team”. One year later, on November 16, 2006, Patrick R.Spurgeon Jr. Was born, which made his drive to succeed with music, that much more meaningful. While in Okinawa, Japan, P.S. Had countless number of opportunities to open up arena sized crowds for major artist such as; Llyod Banks, E-40, Young Joc, Chingy, Solja Boi & Dj Smallz [“SouthernSmoke”], just to name a few.
Now at age 29, P.S. Is more hungry and focused than ever. With his laid back demeanor, smooth intellect & complexed word play, over a beat that can’t be denied, he is sure to be a favorite House-Hold name in the future to come.
