KEY-SHEREE was born in Mt Vernon, NY, and now resides in Atlanta. Ga. No stranger to the rap game, KEY-SHEREE has been around since 1996, she also writes songs and will occasionally sing. In June of 2010, KEY-SHEREE was encouraged by industry friends to seriously consider pursuing her passion for creating hip hop music. So, while being a newbie, so to speak, KEY-SHEREE has been recording nonstop since then. She is adamant about improving her creative abilities, so she will record, and record until she she is free of limitation!!!! KEY-SHEREE is trying to open and maintain her own lane so while going through the process of creative evolution her style is expected to change and grow!!! KEY-SHEREE has been influenced by Mc Lyte, Foxxy Brown, Lil Kim, Eve, Da Brat, Jay Z, Kanye West, Wu-Tang Clan, Jay Electronica,and a slew of R n B artist’s. Her father was a singer and songwriter for countless 70’s musicians and she is the second cousin to Blaxplotation actor Richard Rountree (Shaft……Damn right).
