Big Rick was born and raised on the Westside of Chicago,IL in the Austin Area “A diamond in the ruff “he experienced life’s Hardships early on and became a product of his environment joining the 4corner hustlers at the tender age of 8 after being shot and wanting to do more bigrick relocated and got a fresh start at life growing up with 24 of snypaz, Liffy Stokes of speedknot mobstaz, Never & Wildstyle of Crucial Conflict, Twista & his brothers, he realized what his friends had been telling him for years, go to the music! That was the plan, he started perfecting his craft but still in the streets, in 2003 Bigrick had to learn the hardway as he was indicted and sent to federal unversity after that he vowed to do music and has kept his hands out of the streets as big brother & mentor Liffy Stokes had told him to,Liffy Stokes signed BigRick to Twista’s Get Money Gang/EMI Label, in 2006 he released Chicago hope pushing over 200,000 units online and out the trunk, making him a force to be reckoned with
