To Speak to the Question of why do people Love or Respond to Hip hop regardless of the Cultural Back Ground or demographic is because of what HipHop is at it’s Root. (Communication) Communication is the God particle that glues the Human Race together. We as African Americans have all ways been the Gate keepers of this Glue. The World Embraced Jazz, Rock& Roll & R&B along the Same Lines. But the difference in between them and Hip Hop effect is that with the other forms you actually had to be some what musically inclined. You had to e able to play an Instrument or carry a note. Yet with Hip Hop the art reduced to it’s purest form, (Word). Regardless of the Culture, Pain is the same across all cultures, Poverty, conflict, confrontation, and Love. An through Hip Hop all these things are exspressed and Hence language and cultural Barriers are irrelevant.
