Legendary singer Stevie Wonder is boycotting the state of Florida

According to the Hollywood Reporter the “Ribbon In The Sky” singer will not perform in Florida until its Stand Your Ground law is “abolished.” He added that he won’t perform in any state that recognizes the law, which many say helped defend Zimmerman when he shot and killed Trayvon Martin on February 26, 2012 in what he claimed was self-defense.

“I decided today that until the Stand Your Ground law is abolished in Florida, I will never perform there again,” Wonder said this weekend while performing in Quebec City. “As a matter of fact, wherever I find that law exists, I will not perform in that state or in that part of the world.”
