Hey, found your site by accident doing a search on Bing but I will definitely be coming back. As for your post… I agree with a lot of what you’re saying here but wouldn’t it be just as easy to focus on the postive? I mean why mess with your quality of life if you don’t have to?

Great story. Too often we don’t teach our children how to save, only spend. I”ve been investing for 10 years. I’m 31 years old, it’s worth the time to figure out how to work the stock market and mutual funds.

I’m glad I actually read every word of this post. Personally, I was not raised with the greatest financial knowledge…as lot of minorities aren’t…but we have to realize that at some point we need to take the initiative ourselves to get the knowledge we desperately need about our finances.

I’m happy that this young man has had a full strong head start in the right direction. Honestly I need to look into this myself. Sadly there are TOO many jobs out here that leaves us with no choice but to live paycheck to paycheck with a little extra. Hopefully our economy regains it’s financial stability soon so that all of us are given more of a chance to manage our money better than we do.

Jd this is a great story .
