Kanye West will not be prosecuted for his attack on a paparazzo last week at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). According to TMZ, the LAPD are investigating the pap’s claim that Kanye tried to steal his camera, but the District Attorney won’t prosecute the rapper because there’s no proof to support the claim.
Cops will forward the case to the D.A. within the next few days, where it is expected to be rejected. The charge could be downgraded from felony attempted robbery to misdemeanor criminal battery when it’s referred to the L.A. City Attorney, however Kanye is expected to make the case go away completely by paying the pap a nice financial settlement called a civil compromise, which is 100% legal. That payout money was just promotional bread for his album out.
